We have done business with Cameron Termite and Pest Control for over 20 years. They have provided outstanding service to us and our families. In the past 2 weeks, Bob came a performed our yearly termite inspection. Bob is very thorough and detailed. Always on time and a gentleman. Jason continues to provide our quarterly pest control spraying. He is always on time and is very thorough. Both of the gents provide excellent customer service. Way to go and team Cameron for your excellence. Keep up the great work. Thank you, Joe Bailey
We have been with Cameron for over 20 years! Always receive professional, courteous and consistent service. We never see live bugs and rarely (once a year) one sneaks in from outside and is dead by the time we see it. No issues with our pets or kids, just peace of mind!! Highly recommend
Bob did a great job today explaining everything to the smallest detail Highly recommended
They tented the house and at the end they raked all of the stone back against the house and reinstalled the fence. Totally unexpected and very thankful for saving me and my wife a lot of work. Thanks for a great job.
I would not recommend Cameron Pest Control. If you don’t pay the annual warranty, you’re out of luck. They treated my house for subterranean termites 3 years ago with Termidor and now, 3 years later I have termites again in the same spot which they said have been eating the new wood for at least 1 year. Their expert came out and said they needed to treat the area again with Termidor, but when I received the quote/ estimate it said they would treat my house with Trelona bait stations. I talked to the owner explaining the area was just treated 3 years ago and Cameron told me that should last for 15 years. But he said since I didn’t maintain the warranty there was nothing he could do. The owner seemed very irritated when I asked a few tough questions; i.e. why didn’t the treatment work 3 years ago and why do I have 2 different treatment recommendations from Cameron. Now I would have to pay again, for a different treatment, which costs the same as it did 3 years ago. After our conversation the owner sent me an email withdrawing their quote and said they were not interested in treating my house. Their business model seems to be to keep everyone paying the annual warranty or pay again for full treatment in a couple years.

Thank you for your feedback. We are a small, local, family & Veteran owned business that has been serving Pinellas County since 1931. The state requires us to offer you a retreatment warranty for one year, with an option to renew the warranty annually. You chose not to renew the warranty in a timely manner therefore the contract has ended. We are not bound to reinstate it, as the initial warranty period has already passed and is now fully terminated. Sorry for any inconvenience, we are just following the rules governed to us by the State of Florida. Thank you again for your business, and for your feedback.
I used them twice and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a termite inspection. Bob is top-notch and a gem to work with. Personable, very knowledgable and answered all of our questions.

Michael, thank you for your great review! We appreciate your business and look forward to working with you again in the future!
My fiance and I were seeing roaches in our house almost every day, it was terrible! After our first service we immediately noticed results. We went from seeing 20 roaches a month to just a couple after the first treatment. We are now moving out of the Florida (no more roaches yay haha). But I would highly recommend Cameron for their punctual and professional service! Thank you!

We recently had to have our home fumigated for Drywood Termites. Scott and Kelly with Cameron Termite and Pest Control along with their partners GES Pest and Fumigation did great job helping us prepare and keeping us informed throughout the entire process.

Thank you Danica! We appreciate your business & the opportunity to serve you!
As an owner of a 14 Unit Motel on Treasure Island, I have used Cameron Termite & Pest quite a bit. Most recently, they performed termite treatment for not only my smaller building but also several single family homes. They are always affordable, personable, answer and return calls, and just do an outstanding job! I would give them 100 stars if possible!!

Honest, thorough and professional. I've used them for 3 years now and highly recommend their services. Ask for Bob for inspections and Jason for spraying
They come once a month and are on time. Very friendly. Very through with spray for bugs they go under the sink also. I have never had any bugs since 2017 when I moved in. Excellent company.

Excellent customer service. Fast and returned phone call when a message was left. I am completely satisfied with the work done. This company is highly recommended for Termite services.
I have been with this company for 20 years, Bob has inspected my house for all those years. He is very very good at his job very friendly and will crawl under your house without even a second thought to make sure you have no termites, love the company , after all that time I have to have a re-tent ,the owner came out to Inspect before the tenting🌟
Was able to schedule work in a day and have a person right out the day after. Was exceptional service from beginning to end. Definitely recommend!
Very happy with the work that Cameron termite and pest did at my house. Started with great service in the beginning from Kelly. She explained everything extremely thoroughly, what to expect, and what would happen. Upfront no surprises. There was no one home at the time they took great care of the house and left it exactly how they found it very trustworthy. Plan on using this company again for future use
I had steak and burgers in total of $200 in my freezer the way they told us to and they stole it. They claimed that it was improperly bagged but left the 2 bags improperly bagged on the counter in plain site. I would not trust them you never know when they will see something they like and take it.
Response from Cameron Termite & Pest Control
I'm afraid I have no customer by this name. Please check to see you made your payment to, or the name on your contract. I wish you the best day!
The first time they came out and sprayed for bugs it costs an initial $125 fee. I was told that any additional sprays after the first time will cost $40. What I was not informed of is that if you wait more than 6 months after the first spray, they restart you and charge you the $125. When I called to set up my second spray, I did ask the woman on the phone how much it would cost because I was an established customer and I was told $40. Even when the tech came out to spray, he left an invoice that said I owed $40. I get an invoice a few weeks later stating I owe $85. I double checked with the workers before I booked the second spray and confirmed that it would only cost $40. I covered all grounds before booking and only after I received service am I the real cost of my service. This is untrustworthy business practice and I feel is unethical.
Response from Cameron Termite & Pest Control
The reduced pricing is for regular customers, once you go beyond 90 days, it is now considered a one time, or odd job, call as needed. Our regular clients get the reduced rate. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Unbelievable. Do NOT USE THIS PEST CONTROL!
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I am a Clearwater homeowner. I called out Cameron Termite in October 2021 to tent my home for termites. A week before the tenting, they sent out one of their techs to walk the property to ensure we could move forward, tell me how to prep it, and have me sign the contract. I proceeded to prep my house and move all of my food out of it. They called me on the day of the tenting to cancel and tell me that a line that was on the property at the time of the first inspection was a fire hazard and would need to be removed before we could move forward. After multiple calls, I determined it was a service line from WOW and had it removed. We rescheduled the tenting for the week of Christmas December 2021. Again, a week before tenting, a tech came out to inspect, tell me how to prepare and to sign the contract. This technician was specifically asked about the issue I had in October 2021 and he stated that there was no problem, no fire hazard, and we could move forward with tenting. I, again, move everything out and prepare the house for tenting. I call them the day of to see if there is time for me to grab some contacts that I had forgotten and was told at that time that they had opted to cancel my service yet again for a line that could be a fire hazard. This time, however, I was informed that I would also be charged $250 for cancelling the tenting, despite the fact that their company cleared my home for service and then unilaterally cancelled on me. I am now being forced to dispute their fraudulent charge on my card. I regret ever contacting this company.

The E Mail sent to you regarding this situation. We also stated if you caould have this repaired, we would put it on the schedule for the next day. This E Mail also contained a photograph of the defect.
Hi Justine,

I just wanted to touch base with you to provide some more information regarding the issue with the power lines. There's a piece hanging, the support cable, that should be connected to the structure.
With the way it is currently, the tension is on all of those wires. You may need to hire an electrician or even a handyman to fix the issue if it's not something Duke Energy will repair.

Our tarps would add a significant amount of tension onto those wires, causing further damage, potential loss of power, and creating a fire hazard. We simply cannot fumigate a structure this way.
We do recommend you get this fixed as soon as possible as it is a major safety concern, not even just for fumigation.

There is a $250 cancellation fee due to the property not being prepared for fumigation when the crew arrived on site. We did waive this fee last time, so, unfortunately, we cannot waive the fee again.

I'm very sorry we weren't able to complete the fumigation for you, again. Unfortunately, we did have a home burn completely to the ground a few years back due to this same scenario.
Our employee and customer safety is our number one priority. We'd be absolutely devasted to cause any harm or damage to your home before the Holidays.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions or help with recommending an electrician.
If you'd like to get back on our schedule, please let me know.
Cameron Termite is unprofessional and just trying to swindle customers into paying for unnecessary termite treatment. Specifically, I purchased a home that was previously tented and treated for drywood termites. The home came with a warranty from Cameron Termite for drywood termites. I have kept and maintained that policy. My house is currently for sale and a buyer paid Cameron to inspect my house. Cameron told the buyer that they should pay them to treat the house for drywood termites!!!! They tried to swindle the buyer into paying for a service that was not only unneeded but was already treated for and warranted by Cameron !! I am furious! I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Needless to say this caused a problem with my pending sale and now my house is back on the market! Buyers and Sellers beware! Never use this unreputable company!
Response from Cameron Termite & Pest Control
I apologize for the confusion on this account. I take full responsibility for the mix-up. The office neglected to send the appropriate history with the technician showing the previous treatment and warranty by our company. Also, the "Notice of treatment sticker" had been removed. In this case, the tech measured the property for tenting, due to the drywood termite evidence noted.
Once notified of this, I contacted the buyers realtor that ordered this service. She indicated that she had been informed of Cameron's involvement, but did not contact us to correct, in that there were other issues that were causing the buyer to walk away from this sale.
I then contacted the owner by phone to personally explain and apologize.
We do a high volume of real estate inspections and would never knowingly recommend a treatment that was not necessary, and in turn, jeopardize the sale.
Kim Triplett, Owner
Deceptive practice? I am a consumer who does not work in the termite & pest industry, with that said, I have always been told BEST practice for any service is 3-4 bids/estimates. Cameron was my last bid that I rec'd on 6/27/2019. They were the best. I knew I would move forward with them. Termites swarm seasonally & tenting did not happen that year. Fast forward to 2020! Covid-19! I did not tent that year either. Spring of 2021 has reminded me that I have a termite problem, so with my Quote in hand, I called Cameron Termite & Pest Control. Upon calling to schedule tenting, I was told they needed to come out and remeasure home to verify it is the same size. I knew it was! NOTHING was shared about quote only be good for 1 year, NOT on quote still in hand, nor from woman who answered the phone. Tech, Nick, comes out and measures. WOW! It has gone up almost $450. I call back & I get Kim, who I believe is an owner. Explained concern for price variance. Looks like the two techs they employ who are professionals measured the same house and had TWO VERY DIFFERENT RESULTS. My spouse & I took bets on this outcome coming smack tab in the middle and Cameron DID NOT let us down. They called us to say tech Nick was off from 2nd/original techs (Bob) measurements, who came out to measure again behind Nick and the new quote is only $250 higher now. Explanation...quotes are only good for 1 year & new pricing sheet has come out. My recommendation, share that upon call when comsumer is scheduling service from a 6/27/2019 quote. Not after two techs on the SAME day measure my home differently & the price jumps. Back to square one & getting 2-3 more quotes. #thissucks!
Cameron termite performed a tent fumigation for termites in my home. I am very disappointed with the service that I received. They did not give me a set time and did not call me when they were on their way. After the fumigation was complete I did not receive a call. I came home and my house was absolutely filthy! Could barely walk into the house due to the large amount mud all over the floors and carpets. There was also huge piles of mud outside of my house and in my screened in patio. They threw expensive shampoo and conditioner and other products in the tub. Some were not closed and spilled out all over the tub. If the employees were this careless about how they left my house Im worried about if my house was properly sealed and tented in the first place.

Mr. Dabush,

This is the first we are hearing of a problem out there, usually something comes through the office so we can attend to it first hand.

Times are difficult to determine, due to the fact that some jobs take longer than others, weather conditions etc., however, if you call the morning of the fumigation, we can give you a window. This was spelled out in the instructons you signed.

Our fumigators are provided with shoe covers and if they were not utilized on your job, I apologize , but at this late date, the SPID in charge of your job is no longer employed by us, but we did share your comments with the entire remaining employees as a tool.

The shampoo comment is curious. I cannot begin to wonder why anyone would have a reason to touch a shampoo bottle.

Your treatment is guaranteed for a full year, and we will stand behind any re treatment necessary.

I regret your experience was not what we strive to accomplish.
The inspector from Cameron Termite and Pest Control was let into my house by the agent who gave him the code to the lock box instead of having someone there to let him in. BIG MISTAKE. I'm missing about $300 of items from the closet with attic access. Nick Wright was the inspector. Police report has been filed.
Response from Cameron Termite & Pest Control
Good morning,
I apologize that you feel that you were mistreated, our customers satisfaction is exceedingly important to us as we are a small family business. We have not been contacted by you or the police department to be made aware of these allegations and I do not show in my system that we have done work for you or Justin with EXP realty who was also reviewed by you with the same allegations. Please contact our office so that we can get this figured out to your satisfaction. Our inspectors have been with our company for a very long time and are incredibly trustworthy and our customers satisfaction is of our utmost importance. We hope to hear from you soon. Thank you!
I wouldn't trust these guys with a wood destroying organisms inspection. My house had an inspection before I purchased it and they didn't find the brewing infestation of termites that I found the next six months of their inspection. The termite infestation had been in the house for at least 5 years so it was very visible if they were to do a thorough inspection. Hire someone else.
Response from Cameron Termite & Pest Control
We warranty our inspection letters, for sale of property, for one year. If we were to be called back six months later, and termites were found, the home would have been treated at no charge.(Providing treatment was not recommended originally) Please identify yourself, so we may be of service.
