I remember this amazing gentleman over 20 years ago. I knew right person to call! Thank you so much for your above and beyond customer service Christine! We will see you soon! Best company to call! Trustworthy and amazing customer service, hard to find these days! Call Dead Bug Ed or regret!
I own a pest control company, & I recommend Dead Bug Edward’s for Termites because they are honest & reputable. We decline referral fees as it’s not why we refer.
I own a local pest control company. We do not do termite jobs, and I wanted to send my leads from my customers to Dead Bug Edwards. I was told that they have a referral program. I reached out to them via their 'contact us' form TWICE, and also tried to contact them by email, and days later, still no reply. Disappointing to say the least. I just do not get it! They do not want additional business? I've owned my company for 21 years & would have appreciated the simple respect of at least a reply. I sure hope they respond to their actual customers! I would never NOT reply to someone trying to send business to me.
Excellent company for TENTING! Quick appointments, professional staff and superb communication every step of the process. Clear instructions in written form as to what can and can’t be left in the property during tenting. Provide safety bags so some items could be remain intact. Cleaned up the mess inside following tenting. We had a house and large shed done. Can’t give enough praise to Dead Bug Edwards! Would highly recommend ❤️ and will use again in the future.
STOP!!! Don’t use this company. I notice carpet beetles…dead bug advice was just vacuum and stream wash carpets. Did nothing but cost me money and allow the carpet Beatles to multiply. I waited a few weeks as they asked me to do, and then brought in another company who aggressively got rid of the carpet beetles and said their advice was DEAD wrong and Wished I had found them sooner to avoid the spread of carpet beetles to my other rooms. Then Since they could not handle this carpet, beetle infestation, I requested a refund and they agreed to give me my money back. I’ve been requesting $114 Since June every three weeks I call them and they lie and tell me the check is in the mail and they say have a “serious problem with their mail” really? And still have not received my check …stay away from this company go to a true professional.
My husband and I noticed some termite poop by our front door. I asked my regular pest control guy for a recommendation, he suggested I call dead bug Edwards and I did I spoke to a nice lady on the phone and I made an appointment for today Wednesday at 10:30. She told me who would be coming his name his phone number and that he would call me 10 minutes before he arrived. I got a call from Raphael and he said he would be there at 10:30 and he was here at 10:30. He was very nice very professional he gave me his card. He looked at where we saw the termite droppings and he said yes definitely termite droppings by the front door he went up to the attic and he saw some stickers and the last time my attic was sprayed for prevention was in 2017 so he suggested that we do that. The suggestion he made was get rid of my front wood door and replace it with an all metal door and frame. so far I would totally recommend dead bug . They sent the proposal already and it's very fair and I would totally recommend
Great company
We have had our home for 5 years and like many others, have put off getting tented for quite some time because of the hassle. We had termite droppings in the attic for years and then finally started seeing bodies/wings inside the house this year so we knew it was time. I was recommended Dead Bug Edwards by someone and then also saw great reviews in a local Facebook residents group so I decided to give them a call. I was a little clueless going into the process so here was my experience (sorry for the long post but hope it helps) First step, call and schedule an appointment for someone to come out and investigate (confirm you have termites, what kind of termites, and determine if spot treatment or tenting is needed). Simon came out and was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He was very kind and actually taught me a lot about it all so now I know what to look at for future reference. A few days later, I was emailed a quote and we scheduled a tenting date (There is an extra fee for weekend tenting! Not unreasonable, just was not aware before going into this process). I had questions about some things and the owner himself called me almost immediately. He was super friendly and helpful as well. Simon came back to our home about two weeks before the tenting to explain the needed preparations, receive a deposit, and provide the packing bags. I was completely unaware, but you have to prep all landscaping close to the house. If not, they might have to cover it up and it may die (we had just done our landscaping so could have planned to do it after tenting if we had known.. trim everything approx 12-18" from the house to fit the tent and move rocks away). The whole packing/prepping process is A LOT of work and Simon explained everything well/answered all our questions. Side note, you have to leave them with a house key.. I had no idea! It is such a weird feeling leaving a house key to strangers but he assured me we were in good hands and encouraged us to have any security cameras on throughout the house for peace of mind, (we did and everything went well and there was no funny business shown lol). The workers showed up in the morning (Friday), you provide them with a key/final payment, and do a walk through if needed. They are only there for a bit putting the tent up, putting fans throughout the house, and administering the poison. The next day (Saturday), they come back and remove the tent/fans, close all windows, turn the A/C back on, and do their walk through/lock up the house (you can either meet up with them to receive the house key back or have them put it in a previously determined location). You have to allow a full day for it to air out once returning, so we were able to get back in the next day (Sunday). They made the process pretty easy and effortless. The customer service was great and everyone we interacted with was helpful and professional. So far, we are very pleased with everything and would recommend them for termite tenting services! My tips/advice: - If you are purchasing a new home, investigate if you need this done BEFORE you move in and get comfortable. That would make everything so much easier! - Plan to do any new landscaping after the tenting if possible. And if you are adding new landscaping, try not to go too close to the house in general - Have the security cameras on/throughout the house for peace of mind - Try to go through your house supplies weeks before the tenting and go in sections so you aren't stressing the days before! Example, I went through the medicine cabinet, pantry, pet supplies, & fridge/freezer a week or so before and threw out/organized everything. I ended up having a lot of expired/not needed stuff so trash/donations added up quickly. It was nice to space it out and that way I knew already everything here is what I need to pack up. I also used this as a time to reorganize/clean hard because it's a blank slate and it's been a blessing in disguise - When in doubt, take it out GOOD LUCK! lol
I have been using Dead Bug Edwards for over a decade now and I can't say enough great things about them. Upfront and honest with you on everything and when they say they are going to do something they do it. The team is super friendly and treat you like family. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of our home for our family. Top notch for any and all pest control!!!
Just tented house for termites last week and did an awesome job. Very careful with my roof. Cost was reasonable. I will use again if needed.
These guys do really good work. Me and my partner Ben C have used them several times over the years
Dead Bug Edwards is top notch. They show up on time and get the job done professionally and efficiently. They have skilled and courteous workers who know what they’re doing. Do yourself a favor and save time by giving them a call!!!
We’ve been using Dead Big Edward for years. Unfortunately Florida is relatively rich in termites. We dealt with Christine from the initial termite inspection and then she visited us to review all the instructions in detail to prepare for the tenting. Her level of service was outstanding. She was very personable and answered all our questions. Then the day of the tenting we met with Bob who also was very kind and informative. What stood out with Bob once they removed the tent he inspected the full house and ensured everything was locked and secured. If you need termite services I highly recommend Dead Bug Edwards. Thank you Christine & Bob for going above & beyond with your level of service.
My family did an extensive search for the right service. We had 3 to 4 different companies come out and give evaluation and estimate of our problem. We are extremely happy we went with Dead Bug. Bob was highly recommended and he went above and beyond expectations. If you want service done right with personalized service then Dead Bug is the company. Thank you Dead Bug for taking all the stress we had and putting us at ease. We are happily and most important comfortably back in our home.
Great company. Timely service with great results. Bob and his crew were polite and professional. Thank you
Called them to inspect my house for termites and they said it’s subterranean termites. They installed ground treatments around my house but a couple of months later I found signs of termites again. Called them and they said they are flying termites this time and quoted me again for the tent treatment. Now, during the recent flooding in my neighborhood, my walls were opened for inspection, and I found termites running around. Called them again and showed the video of termites running around. But he said they look like ants and said they don’t see termites. Looks like they don’t warranty their job. I don’t know what to say, I’m not using them anymore nor recommend them.
I used this company the inspector told me to wait from until fall to tent. I listened to them. Big mistake I had accumulated more belonging and had more work to do to prepare for the tenting process. You should tent immediately before moving into your house or before you accumulate load of items. Secondly I paid for a service to warranty re-inspection and tenting if I saw termite activity again and paid month to month then when I called them in after finding termites inside my house they came out sent some young guy to re-inspect he was head first in the attic and concluded there were no termites. Shabby inspection, even when I showed them evidence of fresh and old termite droppings mixed together and they disregarded I stopped paying the extra amount but I was out a more than a few hundred bucks because of it, and still had termites after their service. To acquire me as a customer they were quick to conclude I had termites but upon re inspection they were quick to disregard that I had termites to save them from having to re-tent for the amount I paid extra. Unreliable company and service!
Left four messages in 3 days. Inspector never showed up on Wednesday (July 21st) and today I am writing this post on Sunday (July 25th). Guess they are too busy for new business.
Called and left messages. Someone returned my call as said Frank would call me. That was 2 weeks ago. No Frank and no follow through. It's a shame because they were always good but I don't know what is going on now. Lost 2 weeks to be placed on the schedule so we went with another company and they are really great. Very professional, courteous and reasonably priced. I recommend if you're in need on tenting you look elsewhere.
First of all they’re too busy for customers they frown upon new customers girls in the office don’t care , estimator Rochester doesn’t care either. Take it or leave it with Rochester, The goal of the employees at Dead Bug Edwards are to possibly bankrupt the company or maybe give it a bad name. I have 300 employees in my company and we know how to treat customers. Stay away from this company its horrible it used to be a good company. I wish the owner knew what these employees are doing. It took them six weeks to give me an estimate and 2 1/2 weeks just to come to my house. Rochester acted like he was doing me a favor. Telling me their company is too busy right now.
I spent over a thousand dollars and weeks later termites are swarming my house. No one calls me, or shows up without a reminder. Then today no one showed up as promised and I walked out to have them flying all over the place. I am absolutely not happy with this place.
Don’t waste your time!!! Specially when have termites in your home. We were referred to dead bug edwards by another professional, we scheduled them in to check our home on Tuesday, Technican Ben came, was very nice helpful with explaining all, checked through the house, and said he will send me the proposal in by tomorrow. Now we’re standing Friday Afternoon and haven’t received anything yet from them, called them in today Friday the lady answering the phone has no idea on dealing with customers, was very unhelpful in moving forward in getting this proposal sent to us, very unfriendly staff answering the phone, on the other hand Ben was nice to meet with understanding his work, but the phone call today at the office was a disgrace. Tell us your sorry to hear this we haven’t received the proposal yet and will look in to it and get back to us should be the way off treating a customer. Today you showed us how unprofessional, unfriendly and unhelpful staff answer your calls.
I own a Duplex in Oaklandpark 33334. I hired Dead Bug Edwards to Fumigate it. Local, Family owned and operated, no subcontracting right.( BIG MISTAKE ). I should of seen the RED FLAG when their inspector estimater did no inspection but just went with what we told him. What we were told by another company who actually suited up and went into attic. He just moved the attic access stuck his head up through for less than a minute. That’s all. Well there was a Down Pour of rain that afternoon the tent did not allow the water from the rain to shed off roof. In other words the tent dammed it up water pooled on roof, the weight of it, collapsing my porch roof. Witnessed by my neighbor. The tent was blowing off across driveway when they were setting it up. They broke several roof tiles chasing after the tent. They really had no business doing it that day given the forecast. Guess they just wanted the almighty $$. Owner was all apologetic blaiming rain. He said he reshot the gas now not so sure if I believe him. Tent was off by noon the next day. It was my understanding it was supposed to be 24 hours. Also lied to there insurance company telling them cause of collapse was termite damage. Any evidence of termites was no where near the collapsed roof. Turned in a claim with their insurance ( WHAT A JOKE ) month and a half later DENIED. $5,000.00 damage out of my pocket. SIgned waiver BUYER BEWARE.
