This company is in complete disarray. Been using them for 3 years. First year fantastic. Second year awful. Third year a complete unorganized mess. Missed appointments. Then called to see about treatment, had to prove by bank statement we paid. Last time they showed up wanted to renew us on our 3rd of 4 treatments!!!! We didn’t renew because it wasn’t time. The guy just left, because we didn’t renew on the spot. Yep, didn’t finish the treatment no confrontation no discussion, no nothing, just said to hell with it and left. That’s the kind of company that I’m dealing with in my Neighborhood. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

Johnny is a great guy and is a nice person who is good at explaining questions I had and does a thorough and thoughtful job with treatment. Excellent service.

Jonny applied quarterly pest spray and did a termite inspection while here. He was very pleasant and appeared knowledgeable. He pointed out where he visually saw evidence of dead submediteranian termites present on window sills. No way to know if they are in the structure. Jonny explained very thoroughly that means there is a mature colony in the immediate area. He highly recommended we have him install a submediteranian baiting system to ensure the colony is killed off and thereby ensuring they do not get into our home structure. The system is expensive, but if it prevents getting termites into our structure it may very well be a good investment. He took his time to answer all of our questions. He was able to install the same day. He finished his quarterly application and installation very quickly.

Jonny, our tech for pest control was knowledgeable, a great communicator and always goes above and beyond expectations.

Have been using this company for quite a few years for my mobile home in Venice Fla. Technician stopped by today without an appointment just because he was in the neighborhood. Apologized for no appointment but it was my anniversary date for renewal for services and he asked if I wanted him to do the inside or make another appointment. Very polite, pleasant, in and out in 20 minutes. Great service

I have never had to use a bug spraying service before but I must say, yelp reviews was our saving grace when it came to deroaching our new rental home. I sorted by top rated local extermination companies and found Mr. Bugs and they have been responsive, and extremely affordable! Then the cherry on top was the kind gentleman that sprayed my home. Johnny with Mr. Bugs. I’ll repeat, Johnny with Mr. Bugs is the guy you want. At this point Johnny has a place in my home even if it’s not for spraying bugs! He’s truly an awesome, friendly, and funny guy and very professional! Love you Johnny!

We had been using Mr. Bugs for several years without issue. But things have definitely changed recently. Jeanine was the office manager and always took good care of us but she is now gone. Always seemed to be a different tech doing our quarterly treatments. Our recent annual in-home treatment was not good. The one tech was training a new guy. They actually made a joke when I told them that they forgot to do one room. Annual visits have always had a visual inspection in the attic for termites. Nope, never went up there but they did tell me we absolutely needed termite protection despite our newer home being of cinder block construction and two of their previous techs said it wasn’t needed with the annual attic inspection. He also pushed for an expensive ($300) treatment for small ants on our lanai. Same cost as all four annual treatments combined! Called the office and left a message to ask for a different tech to do the missed attic inspection. When called back I was told there were no other techs, just those two. I passed on having them come back. I then requested a refund for the three unused visits already paid for. The office woman said it would take a week or so as she needed to talk to the owner (David). A few weeks later no refund so I called back and was told their billing company didn’t know how to do the refund as they only work with credit cards and I paid with a check. After numerous calls and text messages I finally got a whopping $75 refund check almost few days shy of three months after the problem visit. Why couldn’t the owner just cut a company check and move on? And why just a $75 refund (company check) for the three prepaid but unused visits? Surely the one in-home visit wasn’t $224? In my numerous phone calls during business hours never once did anyone pick up the phone. Not once. Sometimes it was days before I got a return call or text message reply. I had referred a neighbor to Mr. Bugs over the summer and they told me they called twice to get an estimate and never got a return call so they used a different company. Not good! This used to be a good pest control company but is no longer. Perhaps the scarcity of service techs, never picking up phone calls, and unneeded delays in resolving a customer complaint are indicative of internal problems. As I stated, this WAS a good pest control company but unfortunately it has definitely gone downhill. So sad to see this for a local small business.

We sighed up with this company in June 2024. They took out 199.00 dollar deposit. We have not seen anyone here since then nor will they return phone calls . Do not use this company .

We’ve used Mr Bugs several years for both homes, a good value and dependable. Johnny has served us many times, but last visit wasn’t him, and the office seemed not the same level of service we had previously. They did not renew us or call, but we reached out and all got resolved. We were thrilled to see Johnny show up yesterday. He is friendly, and makes sure all is done inside and outside. Hopefully he continues to do our services, and office gets better again. We were calling other companies but figured we would try one more time with them. Thanks Johnny.

Can't get them on the phone, called several times, several days still no answer..

No good the service guy was not fair i have no termites i my home he found one old dead swarmer on my windowsill out side my home and made it sound like in his report that i have a swarm of termites coast me the sale of my home not a good bad person I will never refer him to any one ever and i will tell everyone i know not to get any service from this company thinking about sewing them for false the statement
