Pest Patrol of Central Florida

I have used Pest Patrol to fertilize and control bugs on my lawn for about 20 years. Lately they have gone down hill. As a matter of fact, they were supposed to do my lawn Monday of this week and never showed up or called. Tuesday I got a second text from them saying they would be at my house on Wednesday, yesterday, and never showed up. So this morning I called the office and explained this to one of the ladies there who answered the phone. She could have cared less. I then asked to speak with the manager. I told the office manager the same story and why it was important for them to show up on the day they told me. I was speaking to deaf ears. So, I said thank you and hung up. Several of my neighbors now use Pest Patrol because of my lawn. My wife and I take very good care of our lawn. My daughter and brother in law also now use Pest Patrol on my recommendation. Sadly, after this morning’s lack of resolution, I am interviewing other pest control companies to take care of the chemical treatments on our lawn. I got no resolution from the office people at Pest Patrol. They did not care about my complaints. Nor could they tell me when a technician would do our lawn. So, I’m moving away from Pest Patrol and their lack of customer care.

So very disappointed, over fertilized and killed all the grass. Asked for them to help in the replacement but became silent. I still cant believe they destroyed it totally .

I regret not taking the earlier reviews more seriously. The company continued to bill me despite no lawn service being performed. No service sign or other confirmation was ever left. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend using this company.

Sorry to say I had to cutoff my lawn service with them. I had beautiful green St. Augustine when I hired them 4 yrs ago. Then a few years into their service things started to take a downward turn. Weeds became rampant & I requested an additional service call to which they came out to respray a couple of times. Then last year they did their annual Chinch Bug spray that I pay extra for every year. Not a week after my backyard grass began to die. I reached out to them right away. Their service tech came out & I asked him what happened he suggested maybe the technician sprayed the wrong chemicals because he indicated he did not see any "bug" activity. He agreed to check on it in 2 weeks but the grass continued to die. About 90% of my back side yard was dead. I reached out again this time Sean came out and found that it was "Chinch bugs". Wait didn't I pay extra to spray against those?? Well now that I have allowed them to try to get my St. Augustine grass back for the past year even after I replaced the dead grass with new St. Augustine the only positive I can say about my lawn is that it is green & not dead but the green is weeds. They have taken over my whole yard front & back. So after giving them ample time to fix their mistake & not seeing any positive results I had to stop their lawn service.

If I could give zero stars that's what I would have given! Worst customer service ever. And their office manager is the most unpleasant individual, who offers no solutions. My grass has never looked so bad. And we paid for monthly service to try and keep it looking it's best. Grass started dying in random areas. Supervisor was sent out, only to give me excuse after excuse as to what was causing it. Taking no accountability what so ever and blamed it on everything but their service. Within 2 minutes of another lawn fertilizer company looking at our yard army worms were discovered to be the culprit! Fair warning, do not use pest patrol.

The worst experience I have ever received from a company in the “service” business. We handed them a pristine lawn. The crown jewel of the neighborhood. In two months they managed to destroy it. To the point that it will cost thousands to re-sod the entire yard. Any attempt to contact the owner is futile. Once the sale is made he “ghosts you” and hides behind his staff and automated texts. The Ops manager did come out and all he could say was “I don’t know what happened.” I am assuming he went to “grass college.” If he doesn’t know what happened perhaps he’s not cut out for lawn care. Bad service. Zero communication. And on top of that, they do not care if you do business with them or not. Save yourself the heartache and money. Look somewhere else.

The best lawn care company out there!! My lawn looks great!!

Hired them after installing new Zoysia grass over a year ago. After over a year of their service I have to replace very large portions of grass due to their poor care and treatment. Asked for several meetings with managers to review the poor condition of the grass with little to no follow up from them. Extremely disappointed with their service.

I currently have them for my lawn care & pest control service, but now looking into adding their termite service so I eliminate Terminex. These guys really know their stuff, & great response time within reason if I ever have any issues. Just look at this lawn, my neighbors are constantly asking me what I do, I cant take any credit it’s all on Pest Patrol. Hands down best in the game !

The best in this area. I had a lot of insects and spiders around the house, and they helped me right away. You can tell they really care about their customers, especially since they're a family business and not a big company that just wants your money. I always recommend them to everyone I know. Excellent service!

This company had one year contract and before giving the front yard, we have only 15% of weeds on the grass, now we have more than 50% of weeds and noticed the last fews their staff comes for their service and just without doing service of sparying the grass, just kept their name slip on my door and yard too. we report the same to this company. We will not anymore service with this company , they do the culprit and cheating their customers, I will report the concern authorities .....!!

I expressed my concerns about the pesticide spraying that occurs around our townhomes in Island Village once a month. I have called twice to complain, but the situation persists. The spraying typically takes place early in the morning, around 8 AM, which coincides with school hours. Unfortunately, this means that my child and I are exposed to the chemicals in the air as we walk to school. The strong smell often gives me an instant headache, and the fumes linger for 1-2 hours, making it difficult for us to be outside. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the spraying is done quite sloppily, with stains left on the pavement. I had previously requested that the spraying be scheduled at a time that is more considerate of families walking to school, and while I was assured that my concerns would be noted, there has been no change. I urge them to reconsider the timing and method of these sprayings to ensure the health and safety of our community.

They treated my lawn 4 months ago and it looks super horrible now like never before. All covered with weeds, fourth part of my grass died. My front looks just scary. The guy came to follow up never he knock my door to talk to me or to check my backyard which is half dead grass !!!!! He left a paper that he fertilized my front ! Thats it ! My poor lawn keeps dying and I do not understand what I paid for ! I have a corner lot and these people never even treated my sidewalk grass !!! It has no grass left only weeds ! Be aware !

Used them for pest control and lawn treatment. My lawn is currently overwhelmed by weeds. Not sure if their products are inferior to other companies or if it’s an application error but I initiated service call that was not responded to and contacted the front office two weeks later. They put in a new service call with no real response to my compliant. They had no interest in correcting things so I ultimately switched to another company. It’s too bad because I heard good things about this company in the past but my lawn is in such disarray now. Maybe it was due to growing pains.
