Brandy. with McCall Service came out to perform my annual termite check and her level of service was fantastic! She did a thorough check of the bait stations in my yard. Brandy provided next level service as she proceeded to set new/additional bait stations as needed so that my home would be properly protected. I appreciate that her service was also friendly and very professional!

Frederick R. does a great job every month! Also, Richard M. just came out to inspect after we saw some termites swarming outside our window. He was on time, thorough, friendly, and helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Update: Robert came out today and was also great! Update: Austin C was also great. Very thorough inspection of all the centricons.

McCalls Pest and Wildlife Kevin Smith was referred by a fellow pest control specialist after inspecting our chimney which was infested with wasps and too tall for access but needed a lift with plywood to protect the yard. After meeting with Kevin Smith of McCalls Pest and Wildlife we were reassured they could get the job done and would use plywood to safeguard the yard for potential ruts caused by the lift. Scheduling the service was a challenge at first as the lift was not operational, then there were other scheduling conflicts. When the McCalls workers arrived with the lift, they knew nothing about the plywood to protect the yard! Needless to say our yard was ravaged by grooves left by the lift. And after several attempts to use the lift, it was found the McCalls workers were unable to get the lift close enough to the chimney to gain access to unit! So they left! Grooves in yard and job not completed. Weeks later, McCalls workers returned, finally, with a tall ladder, treated the access for wasps, and capped the chimney. Numerous emails with photos of the yard damages have been forwarded to McCalls Pest and Wildlife for resolution to no avail. Would think twice when employing McCalls Pest and Wildlife to work on your property.
We had bad service experience. We hired them to catch and release wild life. They were paid upfront, guaranteed at least 7 day trapping. They did 4 days, then left without catching anything. The sales person promised to bring the trap back. They never came back. Now not answering phone calls. They just took our money and didn’t get the job done
Terrible - DO NOT USE. Hired and prepaid to catch armadillos, left the trap for 72 hours, didn’t catch anything and took trap. Called multiple times to come back, assured us they would, never did and now will not answer calls. Horrible
We have Mcall treat waterside north St. Petersburg for years. The office called me yesterday to confirm an appt 10-12 today and no one has showed up. The agent has no record of waterside, my name cook or Harbeck the managing condo company., and refused to check my email and said she was going to disconnect my call. I begged her to check and she refused. Just horrific.
Sept 4 2024 I scheduled an appointment for termite service and was told the crew would arrive between 7 and 7:30 AM. It is now 8:40 and no one has shown or called. I called the office to verify the date and was told the date was correct. Being late may be understandable, not calling to inform the customer is not.

I received a call yesterday to keep gates unlocked for today. Technicians arrived at 8:30 am and I informed them from doorbell camera that gates are unlocked. They finished their work and I went outside at 9:30 and they requested an electronic signature which I wasn’t aware they needed. They after I inspected the property, I found that they forcefully opened the two enclosure doors, to the pool enclosure which is behind the property and not part of termite inspection area and their entry wasn’t permitted nor did they ask for permission. Such forceful entry when the enclosure doors were locked caused damage to one of the locks. They never requested permission to do so once they repeatedly entered the backyard. Also the house is 17 years old but the lead technician kept insisting that I need gutters and kept pushing selling me mosquito plan which was very aggressive selling when all I wanted was to just close my gate and head to see my dad in the hospital which I explained to him. I’ll probably have to change the company.

Shane is my step-son and he must have inquired something in the past. Sharon is my wife. This came across my email which, is the correct email contact. I cancelled all McCall services several days ago and received a recent bill on email. I called McCall today and confirmed the cancelled service and was told that there is no outstanding balance due. Check your phone recordings from today to confirm. We have had the lawn service several years. My wife called sever times throughout the service duration. Fungus, weeds, and bugs were common. Someone would come out and spray never looking at the soil to determine the problem. I am retired and home when they come to service the lawn. Never seen anyone look at the soil. So, I do it and have found bugs in the soil that I pointed out to the service man a few times. New sod installed twice in the front west side of the walkway to the front door. A few years ago some unhelpful guy came to inspect the problem. He said that McCall's would not put new sod in. Just a few of the problems that we have had which, are too numerous to remember. I remember paying $1,200 the first time and $1,300 the second time. The development is only seven homes. One, two, and then three have gone with the same provider and cancelled whatever service they had. I am number four. Their lawns are perfect. Ours have brown patches with dead grass that never gets cured; just spreads. We have several services that include interior bug control, carpentry, cleaning, and plumbing when needed. All are except McCall's. I cannot believe that I have held onto the service for this many years. So, feedback was requested and the above is it.

Paid an astronomical amount of money to perform termite inspection on house and install bait stations. Today tech called to inform me that he was coming onsite to take the stations out of my yard. Called him back immediately and told him I paid for them, don’t take. He replied that it was already done and wasn’t coming back. This was in a 3.5 minute timeframe. Left holes throughout my yard.I wasn’t never informed that the stations weren’t mine when I agreed to the service that is very expensive. What exactly was I paying for? Be careful, very misleading and costly for something you actually do not own!

UPDATE: They said that they will contact me but it's been two weeks and I haven’t heard anything from the company. I've been with McCall for a long time but lately I have not been happy with my lawn service. Very, very, very poor customer service. The technician has not been treating the problem. I had to call the office constantly to tell them that they need to fix it. They tried to fix it but it was already too late. I am paying them to take care of my lawn and they did not do their job. By not doing their responsibility, they let my grass die without telling me, fixing the problem, and claiming "I am on a different plan". Instead of being proactive and telling me to change the plan, they continued to fertilize my grass when it was already dead. I have to pay a penalty with my home association and required to change my sod. Ever since they changed management, service went down hill. It's not family oriented anymore. Not recommending. Look for someone else. UPDATE: They said that they will contact me but it's been two weeks and I haven’t heard anything from the company.
After 22 years of continued service, I had some home repairs that showed termite damage. They refused any liability because they state there were no active live termites, even though it was obvious to their inspector, my contractor and my painter, which were all dumbfounded that they denied ANY repair responsibility or compensation for the damage. My termite bond was current since 1997 and they sprayed monthly. Poor customer service. I have obvious photos that shows termites did the damage! Consider this if your looking for a reputable company! 2 days after the company replied they would reach out…. NOTHING! I have requested a written denial from the manager, Perry Hudson three times and NOTHING To all customers, this was their reply: We will be reaching out to your service center to see what we can do to make it better. Thank you. GUESS WHAT, THEY DID REPLY AND STILL DENIED ANY RESPONSIBILITY. Don't reply saying you will see what you can do to make your Google reviews sound empathetic to your customers. Their excuse is that I had termites prior to starting service from McCall...22 years ago! Really, then how could you agree the new service and why did your inspectors not catch this for 22 FULL YEARS!!!!! Here is the reply from Perry Hudson, the company branch manager: Our decision is based on the inspection performed by Khalil Prattis. During his inspection he did note there was sub- terranean termite damage found. After de-briefing with the management team, he verified there were no signs of live termites at the damaged sites. The company shall not be responsible for termite and/or insect damage which existed prior to company's initial treatment. Everyone, lesson learned, check with your company's policy and switch to a company that will not leave you in the dust after 22 years of service!
