I have lived in Queen’s Harbour for 33 years. I just hired J & S last year, after the local company we used sold to a national company. J & S has our yard looking better than it ever has. They got grass to grow in an area that was almost impossible. No chinch bugs now. Our technician takes personal pride in taking care of our lawn. J & S was recommended to us by my closest friends in the neighborhood. They are fairly priced. I really love this local company.

I struggled with dead spots and chinch bugs in my lawn for years and couldn’t manage to overcome it with stuff bought from big box stores. In less than a season, J&S has my lawn looking great…..the grass is the thickest and best looking it has been in the 10 years I’ve owned the home! I would definitely recommended J&S and give them 10/10!!!

After a year (and paying in advance), communication has been sporadic and our new sod is ruined. Tried to cancel our service through various channels and can't get anyone to respond. I've heard they're great with some customers and horrible with others. Good luck - hope you're one of the lucky ones. We weren't.

For years, my family used "another" service, and at least a quarter to a half of the yard was dead, or struggling grass. After watching all my neighbors yards look so much better, I finally asked why, and it was because they ALL use J&S. I switched, the strategic timing of fertilization and bug prevention makes all the difference in the world. Now my yard looks, and is more healthy, all thanks to J&S!

Great service! Very effective pest and weed control, including dollar weed, chinch bugs and webworns. Have used them for about a year now and lawn has never looked better.

J&S saved my lawn when it literally looked like a plowed field even while another company was 'treating' it. Scott was confident that he could turn it around and in short order worked his magic. In addition to the excellent work that J&S does on my yard, I recently had them add their quarterly home bug protection service. Wow, based on the large number of dead bugs that I found outside around my house after just a day from the service was overwhelming evidence that their product really works well!! I highly recommend both the monthly yard service and the quarterly bug service.

Scott and the rest of the team at J&S Pest Management are fantastic. Every month without fail they do a great job. From the very first time I met Scott, he has always given great advice. Our yard is so, so much better since we went with them and it must be at least 6 years now. he ability to pay the invoices online is really nice too.

We have been using J&S for the last three years. We hired them shortly after I replaced the lawn (by hand myself) and we have one of the best lawns on our street. When we notice anything funky with disease or fungus they've responded promptly and nipped it in the bud. Their trucks are well marked and clean, the employees are friendly and wave. It isn't expected but that tells me they have happy employees and that means they take good care of their people which makes me happy. Pricing is on par with market average, making these folks a great value for our household.

We have been using J&S Pest for our lawn care for several years and they have always come on their scheduled times, they treat our lawn throughout the various seasons and leave us instructions on how to water following the treatment. Our yard is generally free of weeds and if we ever have any problems, they will come back and address the problem. This company is used by many homes in our neighborhood, which testifies that most are satisfied with their service.

My grass was thin and weak with weeds I couldn’t control. The weeds were killing my good grass. I called J&S and they got my lawn back to being thick, green, and lush within 2-3 months. It looks like carpet!!
