Maria is the best customer service representative i have deal with in a long time! And I have at least a once a day interaction with customer service representatives! I am the manager of a 72 units building and I get cheaper prices offers all the time; as long as Maria is at Bugoff; I will not be going anywhere else.

Called midday and spoke to Maria, a most helpful and personable dispatcher for a sudden ant problem. She took the time to find a tech that was at my house within two hours. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took care of the problem.

We had an excellent experience with this company servicing our condominium for our annual inspection. Kiara, was extremely helpful, polite and coordinated our service flawlessly. Our technician, Raul was phenomenal! He is very knowledgeable, professional, and detail oriented. We had trouble getting rid of tiny sugar ants. Took a few visits. Bob correctly identified as Argentinian ants and Kevin followed with incredibly thorough treatment to identify hives and sources of entry. Made smart suggestions to avoid future problems. Guy was very rude to me when I asked him politely if he was spraying anything by my apartment when he was doing somebody else’s apartment and told me to “read his shirt.” and proceeded to tell me no, that he was just putting traps down for rats. That was a lie because I just saw him spraying stuff two minutes before walking outside to ask him. Our building doesn’t even have rats. We have mice which are not the same rodent and they’re not even by the apartments. They’re by the dumpster, so he’s putting traps in the wrong place anyway. I didn’t call them out here so why are they’re putting traps outside of my apartment? I don’t care how good your service is, you should train your employees on customer service and hospitality. Because they don’t seem like they know how to talk to people.

Excellent experience from start to finish. From the moment I called, Maria answered right away and was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made scheduling fast and easy. Angel arrived exactly on time and treated the problem efficiently. The whole process took no more than 5 minutes, but his professionalism and advice made me feel reassured right away. I thought your employees were good until I met Raoul. Raoul exemplifies greatness. He thoroughly covered my kitchen and 2 bathrooms with 3 different methods: powder, spray and liquid gel dots inside cupboard doors and alongside drawers and above drop ceiling in the bathrooms. Plus he brought 25 roach motels to lay in my kitchen and bathrooms. I was very impressed. Thanks Raoul

Ask for Raul. He is very thorough. You can see he is doing his best to get rid of the termites. It matters which person you get. I have had some I wouldn’t give one star.

I just wanna say how impressed I am with this company especially Miss Maria Rios. My place has been under construction, and there are so much chaos with everything on a time crunch, no matter what the challenge she rose to the occasion and made it happen for me! Plus, all my termites are gone! On top of that, she sent me a wonderful young man named Alex who even suggested that they pre-treat all my new Baseboards to protect my investment. It was so kind that they made a second trip out. Thank you so much, Maria & Alex!

They illegally attempt to force entry by trying several keys though we have opted out of their service. Not once but many times. Employees did not apologize ever.

Horrible. I schedule appointment on Friday the First time. At the last minute they call me telling me that I need re schedule for another day after I have everything ready and loose day of work. I insist that I can't loose another day of work and finally send somebody. I schedule another appointment for Follow up for last Saturday and they never came,and nobody call me to letting me know. I continue to have the worst experience with this company, both as the contractor for our HOA and individual services we've paid for. This will be the 5th or 6th time in 5 months they've been to the house. Today, I had an appointment between 3-5pm, that I scheduled 2 days ago. At 4:58pm I call the office to ask about the status, and the woman essentially said the phones turn off at 5pm and if the guy doesn't show up to call back Monday. Then the technician calls. Tells me his day ends at 5pm. Then, questions my issues because customers say they have termite problems and don't. I explained that I spoke to Jesse (the one good receptionist) at length and she booked extra time for the guy at my place. I felt like he gave me 10 more reasons why he didn't want to show up because he's been working since this morning. This is the SECOND time the exact thing has happened. No one seems to care. Update: The guy showed up late and did a lazy job. I left a message at the office requesting to speak with the manager/owner. No surprise, no call back.

My husband and I have called bug off 4 times. EVERY person who’s answered your phone has promised me that someone will call me back. Today I spoke with Gabriella ALSO promised me that someone would call me. 2 hours later NO RESPONSE. I called the 2nd time today and people who answer YOUR phone tell me … I DONT UNDERSTAND AMD KERP REPEATING ..I DONT UNDERSTAND. NOT sure WHY you would have ANY ONE answer the phone that does not UNDERSTAND my English. Anyway you have my phone number because I’ve been a customer for almost 20 years. Why NO ONE returns calls. The disrespect of this company, every month early morning on a Saturday, the exterminator comes banging on the door! Not knocking, BANGING! Spoke to him before and still disrespecting our peace. This is not how you do business.. show some respect! May need to switch

I was out of town but I have cameras in my condo. The technicians have the keys to my unit. During their last visit I saw on the video that the technician was in the bathroom for over 15 minutes. When I came home there was a big gift that he left for us in the toilet. Disgusting!

This company was contracted by my HOA to exterminate at my condo. The exterminator came in and broke my stove. I was assured by the company that they would take care of my broken stove which is a very expensive one. While some members of Bug Off try to be helpful, the owner is not. He is trying to get out of paying for the stove they broke. He called me and tried to railroad me by saying he was going to repair the broken glass on my stove himself as if he is qualified to repair a broken stove. I would never hire this company. He also told my mother who is the other owner here that he doesn’t want to speak to women and we are the owners. This guy is a real piece of work.

Absolutely horrible experience. Extremely rude employees in Fort Lauderdale. I was made fun of, degraded and disrespected overall. Employees wear ear pods when working and don’t care about what they are doing. They were in and out of my apartment in under 30 seconds (they didn’t go everywhere). Don’t waste your time, money or integrity on this company. See a review from an employee below, their happy customers are dishonest reviews... from dishonest rude employees. ”As a trainee for one day I’ve seen enough from this company... -Fake reviews from employees that work in the office or pest control technicians you can just call and ask them their names and verify for yourself -Papers taped onto every wall in the office telling you to write a good review on Facebook -Constant unsatisfied customers -Ineffective methods that are repeated as part of their “monthly service” What caused me to write this review is several factors because you will see the owner reply to me saying I’m labeled as “disgruntled” but far from it Being hired for one day and asked to come only when they needed help is a joking matter because people have family and bills but the owner John Jacobson doesn’t seem to care about that and the same way he treats employees is the same way he treats customers without care it’s all about the money . The employees even bash and talk trash about the clients they are servicing at the time . So my advice is just do your research and find a reliable company that will get rid of your pest problems and not drain your wallet with this poorly managed company.”

If i could rate this company 0 stars I certainly would. They set an appointment for us for 1pm-5pm but then showed up at our place at 11am without any advance warning or phone call. After making us pack our clothes and get ready for their visit, the technician arrives and states he can’t do the service. I should have listened to the other poor reviews on here as a forewarning not to chose this company. In the end I contacted customer service to tell them about what had happened, no apologies were offered- needless to say i told them never mind and went with another company (The Bug Firm), which was cheaper and offered far superior service & value.
