We found a part of our soffit deformed and open to the environment. This made us apprehensive about a creature establishing residence in our ceiling. We had Ned Bruha come check out things. He felt the damage was environmental not due to animals. He checked things out and, after being sure there were no beasties in the ceiling, he repaired the soffit. I can’t recommend Ned more highly!! If you have pests or if you THINK you do, call Ned Bruha, The Wildlife Whisperer! He’ll fix you up!!
Provider response
It was a quick, easy fix that could easily go really wrong if wildlife was trapped in the attic when it was repaired.

Thank you for trusting me with your family's home and allowing me to safely button it all up for you.

Ned is amazing. He came out to my house on a Saturday evening (after moving his residence the day and night before) to investigate an owl that had gotten into the house that’s under renovation. He is such a fun guy to talk to and really knows his stuff. Owl was rescued and Ned did a full inspection to figure out how the owl could have gotten in, and made several recommendations to avoid more issues in the future. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

I would have paid you to have that fun time! It was an entertaining distraction and I felt honored to be able to assist.

Thank you for the kind words, and remember to order several Screech Owl boxes on Amazon. I told the neighbors the best places to install them on their property. The other end of the island had most of the Screech Owls predated by Great Horned Owls, or were lost in Ian.

Ned’s service is top-notch! His expertise and experience really show, and he has a unique, respectful approach when working with raccoons (our issue). He’s professional, transparent, fair, and incredibly detail-oriented. Truly stands out—highly recommend!

It was a joy assisting your family with getting rid of your clever raccoon forever via house alterations. I will never forget the way she looked at me on the camera and decided not to go back in the attic again.

Thank you so very much for your kind words. Thank you for trusting me with the well-being of your home.

I had a big Issue with Raccoons getting into my house. I called Ned and he responded and came out that same day. He expressed a different approach as I had this happen before and other companies I hired just trapped and moved them and hopefully never to return.Well that lasted awhile but they or other raccoons will show up. Ned's way of getting them out but not necessarily relocate but to educate the animals not move in but move on to a different environment that they could live in. Then securing/ re-enforcing the building at strategic locations from never happening again. Ned was very response thru the whole process with updates and pictures along the way. He was very professional , clean and courteous . He handled the whole extraction from beginning to end . I would highly recommend Ned & his approach to animal removals. Ken

It was fun assisting you and your bride with getting rid of your uninvited furry guests. Thank you for your kind words.

I love not having over a dozen employees, or any for that matter anymore, because I actually get to meet great folks such as yourself in person.

Never hesitate to call... and call my bee removal guru prior to getting hurt.

Meeting Ned was a different experience....in a positive way! In SWFL when you call for rodent/wildlife service or most other services in the area, you get a friendly person who warms you up and then scares you into contracts or oversells their services. Ned listened to me first about our rodent/wildlife issue and then educated me on what the real problem was....our house and the way some builders in our area cut corners which led to my non-paying tenants. Without any cost he provided me with his solution options to those problems while evicting my non-paying renters in a humane way. Initially I was skeptical but as he started his work, I quickly became more confident is his work. This was because his communication was timely and detailed. The process took a little longer than I was initially expecting but his work in sealing up the house, evicting the critters and keeping me posted on all details made it all worth it. I would highly suggest calling Ned for your wildlife removal needs, especially if you want it done right and humanely!

Thank you for trusting me to manipulate mom into relocating her babies out of your inaccessible attic and making lasting repairs.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with my atypical approach to wildlife removal and prevention.

Thank you for your kind words. You and your bride are appreciated, sir.

Ned was great to work with. Completed the repairs in a timely manner. He broke items into categories so you could pick and choose what you wanted to have done. We chose to have everything done as I don't want rodents in my house. His fee was very reasonable. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Provider response
It was a joy assisting you with the rodent exclusion. Thank you for the kind words.

I called this facility for assistance with a baby rabbit that needs help, unfortunately this is the only survivor of three from my fenced in backyard when I let my dog out in the back, she must’ve found the nest and proceeded to attack them. I was able to save the one so I figured what was best for the rabbit instead of putting it back in my yard where the dog could potentially get back in the nest I would call and give the rabbit it’s best shot at life rather than a tore up nest. Well, when I proceeded to call Ned, the owner of this facility whom thought that it was in his best interest to proceed to shame me and pity party me into making a donation to a facility because I failed to walk my dog on a leash within my fenced backyard and state because of my negligence within my own property. He didn’t wanna take the rabbit in and suggested that I just bring it to Blue Pearl and make a donation and that I should also go to these facilities and see how many baby rabbits die each day due to people like me not walking there dogs on a leash; stating that it would make me cry (unprofessional may I add). I would be 100% supporting of these statements if it wasn’t my own fenced in backyard where it is 100% legal to have my dog off leash. If was walking down the sidewalk and this happened that would be a different story unfortunately this wasn’t the case. It is not that I have no sympathy for the situation hence the reason why I even reached out to find a facility to take the rabbit in to give it the best chance at life but whenever I call into a facility that is supposed to help with wildlife, I shouldn’t be met with a pity party and shame to be thrown at me in doing so. Very disappointed by his behavior in how he handles situations. I really hope in the future he knows how to handle situations better rather than shaming individuals who’s only goal when calling in is to seek help regardless of the situation.

I am not a Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic. I am a wildlife exclusion and eviction service. You called the wrong place, and I told you that injured and orphaned animals are to be delivered to wildlife rehabilitation clinics or drop off points.

I do not take injured and orphaned animals into my care and cannot legally do so. They must go to a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator.

You called the wrong place. You called an electrician looking for a plumber. Then, you left a negative review for the electrician. That is basically what you have done here.

One baby bunny was still alive. The ethical thing to do is to put the bunny down and allow the real mother to take care of her. Walking your dog on a leash and allowing this last living one to grow up and hop away on her own is what any Wildlife Rehabilitator is going to encourage you to do.

That was not acceptable to you. I explained then that if you did not want to let this rabbit grow up and hop away, to take her to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital, which is a drop off point for Crow Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic. No food, no water, keep away from direct heat, direct air, pets, loud noises and children.

Because this situation was totally avoidable, and the last baby would not be an intentional orphan if you walked your dog on a leash, I strongly suggested that you make a donation.

I went on to explain how fragile baby rabbits are once they are taken out of the care of their real mother. If you were to volunteer at a non-profit Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic and they did not like you, they would place you on bunny duty. This is because once baby bunnies are taken away from their real mother, their chances at life plummet quickly and you will go home crying each day because they will die in your hands repeatedly.

I repeated that the real mother is the best mother, walking your dog on a leash until this one grows up and hops away, is the ethical thing to do; and if you did not want to do that, a donation is strongly suggested.

If you are part of the general public, have read this reply and have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Ned handled our raccoon “problem” humanely. It was entertaining watching the process seeing the mama come out and call her babies out. Ned was so knowledgeable and compassionate. He cares about the wildlife and teaches you about conservation along the way.

We would highly recommend Ned for iguana issues, we had a couple living under our new tiled roof! Ned came here and said what he recommended and took care of the problem. I highly recommend “The Wild Life Whisperer”
Provider response
Your project was fun, went smoothly and the iguanas did exactly what they needed to, despite the cooler weather.

It is always nice working on a project where homeowners have as much pride in ownership as you both do!

It was a joy getting the iguanas to vacate the voids in the closed valley Spanish tiles and working with you both.

I cant say enough good things about Ned. He helped me after the Iast hurricane. I had a rat infestation. He took care of all the places they had chewed into my cottage, roof top. while I was back home in Ohio. NOW, he took time to go to my place and make sure, they had not returned after this past hurricane. He sent me pictures, all good, inside. I do have some outside clean up to do and roof and fence damage, when I get back down there. Thank you Ned and God Bless You.
Provider response
Thank you so much for the kind words. Once my client, always my client. I check on countless homes after hurricanes, many times without asking. It was a joy to assist you.

This review is long overdue. Ned helped me when a raccoon and her babies were stuck in my attic. This was over a year ago, yet I am still eternally grateful for his service. He made a stressful experience (for me) educational and guided the family to relocate. He is an amazing human. Thank you.
Provider response
Thank you very much for the kind review. Remember to keep that bush/tree on the left trimmed down as to not allow easy access and call if you get a new roof, home or hurricane for a gratis inspection!

Ned knows what he’s doing. He came to give me an estimate and explained what he would do and what would happen. The raccoon did exactly what Ned told me she would do. The mother and babies left on their own within 3 days. I have already and will continue to recommend the Wildlife Whisperer to everyone I know.
Provider response
Thank you for the kind words and the opportunity to assist you with your wildlife removal. I greatly appreciate the referrals as well as the memorable time spent with your raccoon mother and babies.

Ned worked tirelessly to secure my home from any intruders into the attic. There were a number of stray cats in the neighborhood and when there was scratching and noise coming from ceiling I called the Wildlife Whisperer thinking there might be a rat inside. It was a mother cat and she had kittens! She was unwilling to leave but finally a loud recording of fighting cats and barking dogs did the trick. Ned has the protection of the environment and all animal life as his guiding belief. Highly recommend him.
Provider response
Thank you for the kind words and patience.

I have always said that raccoon mothers are the most dedicated. This mother cat was 10 times a raccoon. She's simply did not want to relocate her kittens from that safe, tiny attic. After 26 years in business, she was a learning experience!
Ned is amazing, he is someone who genuinely wants to help you and also wildlife. I had a duck issue where some baby ducks hatched in my soffit that unfortunately did not make it and Ned came out and removed them and made sure none were left. He even went around my entire house to make sure it was wildlife proof, replacing and sealing various parts. He kept me updated every step of the way and offered the most practical solutions and advice. One of the most trustworthy people I have found in SWFL who guarantees his work. I hope to never need this type of service again but if I did he would be the first person I would consult.
Provider response
