Haskell Termite & Pest Control

This company Haskell Termite and Pest control started tenting our home when we hadn't hired them. The two employees whom we saw on camera realized part way through they were at the wrong home. They broke several flower pots and left a mess in their wake as they hurried off. I sent the camera footage to the company and they verified it was their employees. Hard to deny when their logo was on their shirts. They apologized and sent me a $50.00 coupon to use them in the future. Would you? What a joke :( A company that has no integrity. Instead I'd rather had cash for the broken flower pots and the mess that they left behind.

Very happy!! I had problems with termites and They tented our house 3 yrs ago and they were very nice and friendly and they communicated everything need to know . From warning us about the plants around our house to know what needs to be packaged . I would recommend

I have had Haskell pest control for years and I have never had a problem. I will continue using them as long as I live in this house.

RICK IS AWESOME! I am so happy that I went with him and Haskell! (Long review, but I couldn't explain how happy I am in less words...) As a new, first-time, homeowner -- of an old wooden house -- it was a nightmare seeing wings all over my enclosed porch/office 6 months after buying. I knew this meant termites, and not only am I irrationally scared of bugs, but my low-income, parent/student wallet was terrified that I couldn't even afford to remedy this before it got out of hand. I called everyone to come out and quote me. I needed the seemingly impossible: quality service for a fair price to be done immediately. I was set to sign a contract with another company when Rick "Bug Boy" Freeman (Cortez/Bradenton location) swooped in and saved the day. Not only was his price for tenting unbeatable (and warranty/yearly service options better) than the other companies that I had been quoted by, but he was able to have my home tented ASAP. He had one of his employees (whom was also very kind and caring) come out to explain pre-tenting prep that needed to be done. Tenting day came and I had already prepped the inside and outside of my home, packed up my kids, and headed out of town to stay with family for the weekend while the Haskell crew came on time to take care of this termite infestation. The tenting went great. The ONLY issue I had was that some of my plants that were within two feet from the home in some spots were damaged or accidently caught under the tent. I knew from the prep appointment that some of my plants (I have a TON that my daughter and I planted these past few months) were in an at-risk zone but believed they would be okay (I did dig up and pot many of them knowing that they would likely be too close). When I came home I was sad that there was a bit more unavoidable plant damage than I thought. I called the company and was almost immediately called back by Rick. He could not have been nicer! He apologized profusely for the misunderstanding during my prep appointment and vowed to not only take care of the issue but to "make it better than before". RICK WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND for me from start to finish. First, he squeezed me in for an immediate inspection/tenting date/prep appointment, beat the prices of others, offered an awesome warranty/service plan, but then he replaced all the plants that had been damaged after the prep-misunderstanding. He promised me that he would take care of me, and he sure did! I have previously worked as a news reporter/photographer and often had to do pieces on local businesses -- in all of my years of dealing with businesses professionally -- and as a customer, I have NEVER seen the level of customer service and care like Rick has for his clients. He is truly a sweetheart, very professional, and extremely kind. He went above and beyond for my little family and our little home -- we will be his customers for life! If you are ever in my position -- looking for a local company to do right by you always -- Rick is your guy! You can rest assured that your home is in good hands and that you are dealing with someone with integrity. Too many companies these days lack this quality of service -- but Rick at Haskell is not one of them! I am so thankful that we went with him! Thank you a million times over! He saved my home from termites, saved me over $800 (from my lowest tenting quote by competitors), and saved my garden. I'll forever rave about him and this company! We had our 10 unit condo building tented by Haskell of Bradenton. The manager there, Rick, gave us written instructions regarding what we should do, about 3 weeks before the tenting. Then he spent a morning in our garage the week before, explaining and answering questions, and giving each of us 12 large sealing bags to store stuff in during the tenting, When we returned to the condo it was secured and in good shape. A job well done!

They fumigated our ten unit three story condo. Best bid. Professional preparation for residents. Showed up on time. Performed as advertised. Finished on time. Well done.

Rick and his team are extrememly professional and easy to work with. They are very experienced and one of the best companies around for good value WDO tenting. Would highly recommend them for WDO inspections and tenting.

I am extremely happy with the service provided by Haskell Termite and Pest Control. We had dry wood termites that had swarmed twice up stairs so our normal pest control people recommended a certain company. Long story short they were going to tent our house but they lost their license. I called several other companies and finally went back to our pest control people who recommended Haskell. They were slightly higher in price than the one we had initially tried, but they were still very comparable and much less than the other 3 companies I got quotes from. Rick was very responsive, easy to get in touch with and explained everything that would happen and answered all of our questions. With out going into to much detail we had an issue when we came back home after the tenting. I called Rick and explained what was going on and everything was resolved. I would happily recommend Haskell Termite and Pest to anyone in the Sarasota/Bradenton area or anywhere else that they may cover. Great customer service and highly recommend!

First of all I'd like to say I've used this company multiple times for tenting and bug control over the last 12 years. I contacted Rick, in the Bradenton Sarasota area to have the house fumigated/tented and we had it done a few days ago. He was 100% professional and answered all my question. And believe me I ask a lot of questions. He was patient throughout. I have never had any issues whatsoever ever. While tenting a large house and preparation is a lot of work, they made it run seamlessly. The crew which actually did the work was incredibly efficient and you could tell they know what they were doing. And work very hard to do it right. We had cats that we took with us (It is 100% on you if you leave pets behind.) And everything was right where we left it. So glad we chose Haskell and Rick. And glad to have this done and behind us without any issues. Thanks so much!

So these guys decide at 10 pm to work! Scared my daughter to death!

Returned home, all my house keys not available. Books stolen. Art work stolen. At least 10 of my most expensive ($200 - $400) suites stolen. A locksmith was provided so that I could have new keys. Very bad experience.

No Stars if I could!! Don’t waste your money. You might as well hand your hard earned money to the ants, spiders and bugs they say they will stop. This company are nothing but a bunch of con artists ripping off families that work hard for their money. The contract (which they don’t explain or tell you ahead of time) is a lien on your property waiting to happen. Charges for no service and a slightly past due notice created a letter from them that was received on a Friday that they would file a lien on our property (they were charging a file fee of 150.00) on Monday giving us no time to respond. Dominique the owner is a FRAUD!!! Please do not use this company you will be sorry!

Just saw one of their trucks pass a school bus that was stopped in front of it. Total disregard for the LAW.

Received call that our house was clear to enter, so we did on Tuesday. Couldn't find one of my cats outside and looked all week. Then Friday afternoon as my husband was mowing grass, he smelled something foul in back corner of yard and it was a dead animal half buried. Sure enough, it was my cat that was missing. But WE didn't bury her or even know she had died! She was partially inside of a bag so I know SOMEONE buried her. My only assumption is that she was found dead after the fumigation and they put her in one of THEIR bags and buried her but didn't even tell us anything!!! We had to find her ourselves - decomposing in our back yard! How horrible!!! SHAME ON YOU HASKELL TERMITE!! I want someone to be held accountable for doing this and not telling us!
