They don't do effective crab grass control, they don't do it at required intervals, only when they have time they will show up. Even after spending hundreds of dollars my lawn is now completely covered by crab grass and only few patches of grass remaining. They turn around and blame me for not doing seeding. I am changing the service provider. See the state of my lawn under their care in the attached picture.

April 13 to June 16. This is the difference in 2 months! I can’t believe how well the power seeding worked even in my most difficult area. Joshua was so attentive and helpful and since I have a big and diverse yard with some new and reclaimed areas from pulling ivy and weeds it was more complicated. I recommend 100%!

This lawn care company ruined my lawn in only two months and two applications. I thought TruGreen was the worst but Lawn Doctor proved to be worst. Used harsh chemicals in a totally thoughtless irresponsible manner. Practically one fatal application and my entire lawn killed. Management that pledged “guarantee” gave me only lip service, useless words, the usual explanations: blaming the weather, too much or not enough watering, etc. My recommendation to would be customers: NEVER! Don’t even think about it. It is not worth it. That is all I can say.

We strive in customer satisfaction which is why we have such a high rating in prior reviews.<br><br>I read through all of our documentation and spoke with my management team and see you met with our manager, Pascual, during a free new customer visit on June 2nd. During that visit, he noted that your lawn consists of fine fescue and bentgrass, both of which are highly susceptible to browning and stress during periods of heat and drought. He also advised you that the weed control was working but observed that an excessive amount of grass clippings was being left on the lawn, which can contribute to turf stress and damage.<br><br>Prior to your second treatment on June 4th, the lawn was already showing signs of stress, and our technician, Marce, documented this in his email to you. Since then, we have experienced two significant heat waves—IN which prior I sent out 2 email notifactons warning of browing and what you can do to reduce stress. May 17th through May 22nd and another during the second week of June—along with several dry spells, all of which have put considerable stress on many lawns in our service area.<br>During your Stage 2 application, which included fertilizer, weed control, and grub control, you became concerned when you observed Marce run out of fertilizer. However, he returned to the truck, refilled the spreader, and properly completed the application. He then emailed you a report documenting that your lawn was undergoing severe heat and drought stress and provided detailed watering instructions, particularly for the sloped areas of your property.<br><br>We tried to meet with you in person, but you declined. I have been in business for 30 years and operate in 3 states and take negative reviews very seriously because I always strive to provide professional service and work collaboratively with our customers to resolve concerns. My 1st time using a lawn care company but so far so good. Really appreciate the professionalism and the tech actually spoke to me before the 1St treatment because of his concern that my lawn had not had its 1st cut . He left and came back a week later. I am deeply upset by my experience with Lawn Doctor. I have a clear instruction that my yard is only to be serviced when I am home and I personally open the gate. On this visit, the technician rang the doorbell briefly, did not wait for a response or call me as required by protocol, and then entered my property through a locked gate without permission. To be clear, the gate was locked. He let himself in anyway. If a property is locked, you should never enter it without explicit permission. This was a careless and serious breach of trust, safety, and basic property boundaries. I have dogs, including trained guard dogs, and an unexpected entry could have led to severe consequences—dogs escaping into a busy street, a dangerous confrontation, or harm to the employee. When I contacted management, there was no real accountability or solution offered—only a generic apology. An apology does not address the risk this created or the fear it caused. Customers must be able to trust that their home, pets, and clear instructions will be respected. Actions like this have real consequences and should never happen again.

Glenn, the owner, is very customer focused, and instills a customer focused culture throughout the organization. Josh is an expert in Lawn Care- he knows what is best for each lawn, especially when it comes to solving a problem. The company arranges visits at random times, which frequently causes inconvenience. Furthermore, they occasionally fail to arrive at the scheduled time or do not arrive at all. Additionally, they increase their prices annually, and it is often challenging to persuade them to visit the property and perform the required work. The reception staff are highly professional, representing arguably the best aspect of the company. Should it be feasible, utilizing a local gardening service is recommended, as it tends to be less stressful and more cost-effective.

John, I am sorry that you have not had a great experience with us. We strive to provide great customer service bot in the office and in the field. We do call ahead 24 hours before the service but we never give a time because some lawns take longer than others. IF asked we can give morning or afternoon time frames. I raised prices the past 2 years but 3 years prior I did not. My prices increase every year for health insurance, material, my employees need increases, and decided that I can not keep absorbing these increase and remain in business. We have a policy if you need a visit between treatments we have a free service call policy, however we always ask for pictures emailed to us so id we do come out we have what is needed. This is more of an efficient way that we di business. It is a way to treat your situation faster.
