Great experience with Bubba! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. Additionally, he was great with my 2 year old! Update: While my first experience with Bubba was exceptional, the other technicians have been a mixed bag. The reason why I’m lowering my 5 star review so significantly is due to a couple reasons. 1) The free inspection of the roof turned out to be predatory. I recently had new cellulose insulation blown in, and the person noticed that I had rodent activity in the roof. I already knew that I had rodents, which incidentally I also do not recommend Moxie for rodent control because they frankly do nothing other than put one trap outside and think that will solve things. The inspector’s solution was to remove all the insulation and blow in the exact same stuff without rectifying the problem of how rodents were getting into the attic. He also lied about how Moxie uses specialized Borax treated cellulose… which a quick google search shows that almost all cellulose is treated with Borax. When we asked him about solving how rodents were getting in, he had nothing to say. 2) Moxie uses some sort of AI chat bot for their customer service. I called a couple days after I had a treatment to see if we could add a couple extra rodent traps and the chat bot would not allow me to connect to a real human and then hung up on me. Using a chat bot for customer service is absolutely unacceptable.

Updated review 1 year later 3/26/2026 🦗🕷 IAN came to do a Quartly Spring service. Prior to starting asked if I had any concerns. Performed the Quartly service and left me with piece of mind. I did see a huge reduction in Ants 🐜 and no crickets in the basement last year. Im betting on this year results will be even better! 2025 Ricky and Khaleel 🏆are are TOP Notch! Wonderful group. Friendly and very informative! Moxie presented to me at the right time. I needed some help and don't want to deal with Pest control myself. 🕸🕷 I'm leaving this one to the professionals ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ George is wonderful as well 😊

Here’s a 5 star for TODAYS service only and for Alexis. I’ve struggled big time with punctuality from the techs here however today Alexis was on time, friendly, smiling and ready to serve. Alexis should be training other technicians.

I have had great experiences with the Moxie Newington Branch, and my recent service with Brandon truly stood out. He is incredibly thorough in his work and takes the time to walk through everything he is doing, which makes the entire process feel transparent and reassuring. His attention to pet safety is exceptional. He made sure every product and step was safe for my animals, and that level of care means a great deal to me. Brandon is genuinely customer centric. He listens, addresses concerns thoughtfully, and carries himself with a level of professionalism that is difficult to find. In addition, he is charismatic and easy to talk to, which makes the appointment feel less like a chore and more like a visit from someone who sincerely wants to help. Bubba was friendly, knowledgeable and informative of the products he was using. He went above and beyond when spraying and placing bait traps in places I had no idea were problem areas! I would highly recommend moxie. Had another visit from Moxie. Brandon treated all expected areas, checked bait traps and refilled. He answered all of my questions and talked to me more about what moxie has to offer (even in the rain!). Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience yet again!

I have to delete my initial review. This is the worst company I’ve ever encountered bar none. They charge in unexpected months. The workers do not refill bait boxes. They show u when I tell them I do not want anyone at my home when I am not there. Now they’ve charged me $278 for no reason during Christmas and now I can’t pay other bills. They also won’t let you cancel without paying a huge fine. This whole business needs to own up.

I was not happy with short notice of him coming to treat the house. I have renters and need to let them know 24 hour in advance and they have a dog. Also he cannot come after 5pm! He came at like 8pm. I will cancel this service if this happens again.

The salesperson Owen that came to our door lied about everything. He said they would go into our attic and help with what was up there and turns out no one in the company is allowed up there at this time. He just wanted to get a sale. I told all my neighbors not to use them. I’m extremely unsatisfied. Update: I called them and they said they would come back and help solve my problem. I haven’t heard from them since. In the mean time, we have had more bugs than ever in my house and garage Update: I keep calling them for the issue in my attic and someone always says we will call back within 24 hours. It has been 3 months since my first call. Update: 6 months later someone finally came to look at my attic. They want $5000 do to what I originally wanted, although, I haven’t heard from them again. I want out of the contract because their representative lied to me.

Unacceptable! Wish I could leave zero! Bubba from Moxie came to our property when no one was home and sprayed dusted etc pesticides on our property without authorization! I’ve never even heard of Moxie and do not use pesticides. We have BEES and pets! And now a pesticide ridden property! 🤬🤬🤬🤬UPDATE!!! 11/4/25 this irresponsible/ incompetent company DID IT AGAIN!! This time it was Damon. It is impossible to speak with someone in management, no one could even tell me what products were used. I spent DAYS trying to track down information. Not this time. I made one phone call. If I do not get a satisfactory response tomorrow without having to chase them, my next 2 calls are to DEEP and my lawyer. Once is a mistake. Twice is malicious trespassing!

Salesman came to my door. I said no thank you. He proceeded to go through his spiel. I again said "No thanks, you're a great salesman. Have a good day". He CONTINUES to try and pitch after I've already said no multiple times. I literally get to the point where I'm closing the door on him while he's STILL TALKING. Absolute insanity. I'll never use this service based on that experience alone. Learn when to call it. Harassing the people you're trying to make customers is a stupid business decision.

Just look below at the reviews from people who haven't used the service but were harassed by their sales rep - I had the exact same experience. Moxie needs to hire a better sales/marketing team or else they will lose more customers than they could gain. I guess they just asked their sales team to be "agressive" and bag as much business they can, using any means to achieve targets - but it's backfiring and bringing their ratings down. I heard the same feedback from people living across a 10 - mile radius in my locality - a guy from Moxie comes during work hours on a segway claiming their truck was in the area servicing some neighbors, and they would offer a signup bonus / new house discount or some other fancy term - to sign an annual contract. I asked him to leave a number and I'd contact if I were interested but the guy came back knocking at my door at night 9:30 pm - again being extremely non-professional and disregarding any requests to leave me alone at once. If, considering they offered good service - any customer were even thinking about getting their service - this experience would definitely freak them out of it. Not sure about good reviews on service offered - I will never hire them after this experience. Absolutely NOT recommended 👎

Very disappointed!!!! they make big promises to get a sale and lock you into a contract which should have been my first clue so I definitely regret signing up with them. In order to end your contract you have to pay a big fee. Weeks after our service and I still have pests that they told me , assured me , would be gone. I am beyond furious. What they had was better than anything you could buy over the counter of course. Not true. When you reach out to customer service you get the typical well it takes more applications and we will reassess if you need more... A couple weeks into the contract and I want it canceled!!! Waste of my money and super frustrating, definitely aggravation I didn't need. I never leave negative reviews but I wish I had done my research and if I can save one person from wasting their money then it's worth it. I wish I had done more research and trusted my gut not to sign a contract. If a company has a good product they shouldn't need to lock you into a contract. If their product works I'm going to buy more.

A representative knocked on my door. I opened the door and he started telling me he was doing work for a neighbor down the street asking me if I knew that neighbor. I asked for identification or a business card, which he stated he did not have. He told me I could go to the website, which I would have to remember. I stated that until I researched whether or not this was legitimate, I would not be in the position to engage further. He continued trying to tell me what he does. I stated that I needed to leave, which was the truth, and he continued to attempt to sell his product. I asked him to leave, and he continued. I finally had to be what I would consider forceful in demanding that he leave. Even if the work this company does is fabulous, I would not engage their services as a result of this interaction.

The door to door sales reps don't respect private property and no solicitation signs. Jared read my sign and assumed that it doesn't apply to him because "its his job to let people know" that he's in the neighborhood. This is not the first time he has come to our home and not the first time he was told we are not interested. Learn how to read signs, respect people's peace and property, and how to take no for an answer.

Awful experience!!! We were promised so much when the sales man came to our house and pests have gotten worse. The amount of spiders and ants in and around my house is unbelievable. I’ve never seen such big spiders and spider webs and I’ve lived in this house for over 6 years. Ants have torn up my whole yard close to my back door. They “treated” for ants and they have come back worse. Tried to cancel and they want me to pay for the extra services we won’t be receiving. Customer service is also terrible, the main girl Kaylee that is a manager has such a bad attitude and not helpful at all! Would not recommend using Moxie!!!
