At this point it was a good experience. The service man was professional and polite. The outcome will be determined if I continue to see or hear any indication of further infestation. It appears the job was done well. Upon completion everything looks great, I haven’t seen or heard any further issues. I’m pleased that this company provides a 2 year warranty for my peace of mind going forward. I recommend this company!

Great service and full inspection

James and his crew were on time, polite and hard working. James readily answered all my questions and took the time to walk me around the house to see all the areas they sealed up. Guys also did a great installing a rat slab and replacing all our HVAC ductwork that rats had destroyed.

Incredible service, the Team is clean, quick and knowledgeable. We have been battling Rats for 2 years. Honest Rodents did in 24 hours what 3 other companies were unable to achieve. They identified the main “Bingo” (point of enter) once they explored the attic within an hour. They know Rat behavior!!! They are the BEST!

After getting multiple estimates from different rodent and insulation companies, I can confidently say that Honest Rodent Proofing was by far the best experience!!! Best company - by far- in the Bay Area. AND they a the licensed too! Verrrrry important!! Many companies on Yelp are not licensed companies. AJ and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was done 100% right. They were incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and took the time to explain everything along the way. AJ especially stands out. He is a very reasonable guy, and transparent with what needed to be done, which sadly seemed like a rarity these days in the business world. I can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job properly and treating his customers fairly. At no point did I feel pressured or upsold (like I did with the several other companies I met with) just honest advice and quality work. He even offered to come over after the job was done to do a final walkthrough and address any concerns (if any) with my dad. The whole team was professional, hardworking, and they clearly take pride in what they do. If you are dealing with rodents or insulation issues and want a company you can trust, go with Honest Rodent Proofing! These guys are amazing. High quality exclusion (not foam) and they don't just trap. They prevent.

Honest Rodent is a top notch company who is very meticulous and thorough with their work. We were extremely pleased with the rodent eradication work they performed. We have used other pest control companies in the past but none compare to the level of service and execution of honest rodent. I would 100% recommend them for any rodent issues, they certainly have mastered their craft!

WARNING: Honest Rodent Proofing - Dishonest & Cruel Practices I'm writing to warn others about the horrific experience I had with Honest Rodent Proofing. My beloved pet was killed by their poison spray, left out carelessly with NO WARNING SIGNS. Their negligence and lack of compassion are appalling. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your family's safety. 1/5 stars

Everything was explained well at the initial inspection. Easy to schedule the service. Team arrived on time and delivered as promised. Very professional and thorough. Definitely recommend!

They never gave up and were persistent till all rat entry points were secured. There was always a live person to call responding to any problems and promptly sending someone to my home. I highly recommend this company.

Good luck getting any reply from these guys. They advertise that they cover Santa Clara County, but will not reply to emails, calls or even confirm whether or not they actually operate in Santa Clara, not even when you provide an address and contact details. The owner apparently isn't sure where he operates... Basically, they falsely advertise where they cover. #### UPDATE: #### The owner responded below, but STILL has not confirmed whether or not Honest Rodent Proofing covers SAN JOSE. Absolutely pathetic.

Don't hire this company! At first, everything when smoothly, but in the end, it was a bad experience. I hired Honest Rodent Proofing because I found droppings in my storeroom and a hole in the wall caused a rodent. A very bad smell was coming into my house, so I called for an estimate. I met with Anthony and his pricing seemed reasonable so I and hired him to do the work, which included plumbing, waste removal, sanitation and odor elimination. When the work was complete, after a few days, the bad smell was not gone, it seemed even worse. When I called to ask for someone to come out to check on the crawl space and perhaps do further sanitation, Anthony refused, became belligerent and started shouting, stating that he would not send someone out. He also said that my warranty was void because I declined to have a door replaced. The technician who did the work said the door was not necessary, and that I could add it at a later time, with no indication that not replacing the door would void the warranty. When I told Anthony this, he gaslit me and continued to become escalated in his tone. I've never had a business owner speak to me in such a rude, unprofessional manner. Rather and fix the work, he said, if you're not happy, I'll just give you a refund. Although I explained that's not what I was looking for, he said, with hostility, "I'll just give you your money back". It's been 3 weeks. He canceled the rodent trap checks and my warranty. He has not followed through on the refund. NOT VERY HONEST. Don't hire this company!

They came out to check if the rats had come back. They didn't see any. I was asking because my landline phone didn't work. They were going to come back and check the walls but they didn't!

These people are shame and scam. They quoted me $1300 to remove 2 Racoons under my house. I called several other businesses that do work in the same field and the work was for completed $200. JUST NOOOOO TO HONEST (HAHA) RODENT PROOFING. This is a 1 Star company. Believe it.

I used them for rat proofing and attic insulation. They went above and beyond, in my opinion. The work was done thoroughly. They rat proofed from the outside which other companies would not do or said couldn’t be done. We’ve had them come out to check after we heard what could have been rat noises. No rats in attic traps for months now. They did a thorough recheck and the guy found a board some rodent was trying to chew through and proofed that as under warranty. Would recommend this company based on experience so far.

I waited for three hours. I got a text confirming Anthony was on his way. Then i get a call from the office telling me he doesn't want to take on any new business. Thanks for wasting my time. The proper thing to do would to have been call me in advance and cancel the inspection. NOT AFTER YOU MISSED THE INSPECTION. JERKS!
