Eddie at Ventura Bee Rescue was fantastic to work with. He answered the phone right away and set up an appointment that was convenient for my tenants, which I really appreciated. The hive was under a shed at the corner of the property, and the bees were starting to travel to nearby homes and cause stings. Eddie made sure the hive was removed safely. Afterward, I removed the old shed so they wouldn’t be tempted to come back. I also purchased honey and it was amazing. He’s knowledgeable, efficient, and very fair with his pricing for safe live bee removal. As a property manager, I deal with issues like this from time to time, and he’ll definitely be my go-to from now on.

I hired Ventura Bee Rescue to come educate 1st graders about all things bee. It was fantastic! Eddie had the kids and parents engaged and asking a million questions. He was extremely knowledgeable. He brought an observation tank of bees along with tools and a lot of fun things to learn about. It was an amazing experience and I will have Eddie and his team come back again for my kiddos bday and to their school.

Ventura Bee Rescue is absolutely outstanding! Last year when I moved to Ventura, I was understandably very stressed when I noticed I had an active beehive in the roof eaves of my new home. I had no idea how long it had been there and the bees were getting aggressive. I was afraid my dog and grandkids were going to get stung, but didn't want to kill the bees. I also was tight on funds since I just moved so affordability was key! Eddie the beekeeper made the entire experience an absolute joy. He was professional, educational, and reassuring, and most importantly - AFFORDABLE. He was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about protecting bees while keeping people safe. He took the time to explain the process, answered all our questions, and handled the removal with care and respect for the colony, our pets, and our property. It was amazing to see the bees safely relocated instead of exterminated. The work was clean, efficient, and done with integrity. This past week, I had a small bee swarm land on my avocado tree and called Eddie right away. He arrived within the hour and relocated the bee swarm.
