It's a rare thing these days to find someone that is as honest as Rick. I called about a recent Gopher problem that I was having. He was very upfront about the challenging issues to overcome with my type of landscaping and didn't want to waste my time or money because of it. So he gave me some advice and I decided to try and tackle the situation myself. Rick called me back a few days later to see if I still wanted him to come out to look at the situation, but I actually made progress on my own and he was pleased that I was able to do it myself. I have no doubt this is the guy to call if you don't want to deal with humanely killing gophers yourself. I will be recommending him to friends and family going forward. We first noticed the gopher hills about a month ago, and we tried traps, "deterrent chemicals" and plants, but the little bugger just kept coming back. We suspected that we only had one gopher, which turned out to be the case. We got a recommendation from friends to try Rick, which was some of the best advice that we ever got. Great service, with a work ethic to match! We contacted Rick’s because we had some gopher activity in our backyard. When we first called, Rick was pretty busy and couldn’t get there for a few days. When he came, the gopher hadn’t been active for some days. There was nothing to do. He didn’t charge for coming out. When the gopher came back a week or two later, Rick came out, found a new mound and set traps. This time he got the gopher. When he replaced the plugs of turf he removed to place the traps he diligently filled under them and around them with amended soil that he brings for that purpose so that our lawn will grow back and look the way it did before he dug. My wife and I feel that his price was fair; his knowledge, expertise and work ethic are outstanding. If we have a gopher problem in the future, we’ll call Rick.
