great work by an amazing crew. had them come over a couple days to do a number things and, corry, jonny, skyler, kevin, and logan were professional and low stress. they checked each others work, and also made sure to make sure that my attic was sound not just regarding insulation and pest prevention. they came highly recommended and didnt disappoint.

When I discovered that the house I liked had a serious rodent problem in the attic, my mood was absolutely terrible. I found My Insulation Guy on Google, and Jesse responded very quickly and clearly with a solution. Johnny and his team worked very carefully and efficiently, which made me feel very reassured. When I saw the video they recorded of the work and the clean, tidy attic afterward, I was truly impressed and touched. Even though they were already very tired, they still patiently explained the issues and the work they had done. This is a trustworthy company, and I’m very glad I found them. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Called My insulation Guy after hearing something walking in my attic. Jesse the owner responded very quickly. & scheduled an inspection the very next morning. I can’t thank Jesse enough for the peace of mind his service brought. Logan arrived precisely on time he was exceptional very knowledgeable, courteous & professional. Turns out that I did not need to hire Jesse & his team as there were no signs of any critters in my attic. & my vents were just a little dusty what I thought was debris was actually a switch inside the kitchen register vent. Since the attic was clean Logan checked the roof & turns out there was evidence of raccoon droppings on the shed roof right next to the house & a raccoon was likely walking on the house roof searching for an entrance. I was also shown pictures of the clean attic & intact ductwork, this crew went above & beyond to put my mind at ease. As a senior citizen & a recent widow I was very appreciative & very impressed with the crews honesty, genuine concern & respect shown. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of work performed for a reasonable price. In my particular situation I had 2 to 3 inches or insulation stained with rat feces. I also had holes in my ducts, and was looking to replace it all primarily for sanitary reason and any energy efficiency gained was an added benefit. For my needs they perform the work I needed quickly and professionally. Things to consider. I perhaps would have liked a little bit more communication up front a bit more details for someone never had done any of this type of work. Jesse was responsive via text but some additional details would be appreciated. They did 99% amazing job. I crawled through attic after they removed insulation found very little (the size of a penny) insulation in some corners left over not a big deal considering the mess up there (wood debris from when the roof was replaced) and they cleaned areas i that I could not reach and was skeptical they could reach but they did! They replace all my ducts, and installed new insulation. They did a great job there as well. The 1% was there was a bit of insulation left behind on the grass (from when the machine got clogged from all the debris in the attic) and they did sweep to clean up but still a little left. To there credit I pass the lawn mower and it didn't pick up either because my lawn is so uneven but it's not a big deal just noting for the really picky clients. I did get quotes from some big names which were more expensive, those guys came did a walk thru to give me a quote, they were very convincing but the reason I didn't go with them is my friends who used them had many more issues compared to the very minor issue (small amount of insulation left on grass) and they are still arguing with the big names to uphold those warranties. So felt like a took a bit of a risk with Jesse but I'm glad I did so.

Jesse is very honest and transparent about your job. His crew Matt and Mark did an excellent job on the day of, worked very clean! Even came in under quote. Would highly recommend!

Insulation / Air Seal / Rodent Proof My attic was a mess, insulation everywhere living rodents, dead rodents, and excrement. Jesse's team was great, extremely thorough and went above and beyond in explaining everything. Double checked everything worked after and made sure to not leave a mess. Corey, the lead, was very efficient and courteous, definitely would recommend in future. A very fair and reasonable price for the high level of service provided.

We wanted to install insulation over our garage to keep it cooler in the hot summers and warmer during the winter. I searched for a reputable company online and on NextDoor . I found great recommendations for My Insulation Guy. I called 3 different companies for estimates and Jesse at My Insulation Guy clearly explained my options for the type of insulation and the total cost. He was straightforward and the pricing was simple and easy! He also was the most reasonable! This is a family owned company and they take pride in their work. They were on time, neat, polite and did a great job. They forwarded the invoice with photos of the work they did - a very clean job! - right after the project was complete. I had multiple quotes for removing around 1,000 square feet of 50-year-old insulation from two attics, and all the other companies gave me crazy, non-rational prices. When I called Jesse Cota at My Insulation Guys in Riverside, he offered me a more than fair quote and was able to schedule me within a week. A special thanks to Matt, Dallas & Corry — “the A-Team”! They worked incredibly hard removing the old insulation, then cleaned and sanitized my attics. Other companies only offered to remove and replace the insulation for a high price, but My Insulation Guys went above and beyond. They also installed a radiant barrier to keep my attics cooler and sealed all the open areas I didn’t even know existed, keeping my home safe from rodents. Matt and his crew truly care about their work, and it shows in the results. We own a 2 story house in Irvine that was built in 1998. One of the bedrooms gets the afternoon sun due to the southwest exposure. My son always complained during the summer about the room being about 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. During a 90 degree day last week, I ran my hand across the bedroom wall that's exposed to the sun. One of the bays behind the drywall felt hot and gave off radiant heat. On either side of the bay studs, the wall felt cool. I called one insulation company to explain what I was experiencing and they made me feel like I was bothering them with such a trivial issue. Then I called My Insulation Guy. Jesse the owner picked up and listened to all my concerns and then asked if I had a infared temp gun (which I do). He asked me to shoot various areas of the wall and ceiling with the temp gun and relay the temps. Jesse explained what is most likely happening, the builder had forgotten to insulate a section of the wall and probably didn't provide an even layer of insulation in the ceiling. A quote to add insulation in the wall and ceiling was emailed shortly after our call. After accepting the proposal, he scheduled the job. Skyler and Logan showed up to perform the job. Both were professional, friendly and respectful. Skyler explained the scope of the job before starting. As work progressed, they continued provide updates until the job was complete. Drop cloths were laid, insulation was pumped into the wall and ceiling. Cleanup inside and outside was thorough. Now... I know a guy for insulation... It's My Insulation Guy. We hired My Insulation Guy some months back when we had an ongoing mice and rat intrusion! My husband would get rid of them and they’d always end up coming back months later. We hired My Insulation guy to redo our attic insulation, clean and sanitize and also seal up all and any possible entries so these suckers don’t get in anymore. The team who came by were very knowledgeable, clean, and had their systems in place. A week later we did get an intruder back in but it wasn’t really their fault because we had ongoing construction on one side of our house at that time and had areas open. We called MIG and they came out within a week and sealed up the side of the home we had activity on. The intruder was definitely a baby because the poop was small that we found so I’m not kidding when I say, the holes were small! But either way they took care of it and it’s been months and we haven’t had any intruders and have a decent sleeping schedule again not being paranoid at night hearing chewing on our walls! The 2nd team who came out was also very knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel very comfortable and shared tips for future prevention. Thank you so much team! Was looking for attic insulation came across "My Insulation Guy" read the reviews, liked what I saw and he did not disappoint. Jesse was quick to respond with a reasonable price and provided video link to educate me. Matt & Kevin were real polite and professional. Upon completion they explained what they did and didn't see anything of concern, reassuring that the attic bones were in good condition. Would recommend Jesse 100%.

Jesse and the entire crew from My Insulation Guy did a great job refreshing and adding blown in insulation into my attic space on Christmas Eve. From the get go, Jesse was extremely responsive and had great communication when I was getting quotes. Jesse sent me links to educate me on the pros and cons of cellulose insulation vs fiberglass blown in, which was great because I am one of those shoppers who does a lot of research on what I am purchasing. Pricing was straight forward and was the lower priced bid for a better product. The install team of Corry and Logan were also great. Corry was very personable and kept me posted on each step of the install. They tarped everything off and cleaned up everything before they left. These guys are up front and honest, they ended up blowing less insulation than quoted and Jesse adjusted the agreed upon price to a lower cost to match the square footage they actually did. Very happy with the crew from My Insulation Guy and will be referring them to any of my friends who need insulation work done! Highly recommend!

I am not happy with everything that was done inside my attic. I have been living in this house for almost 10 years, in the summer time my second floor will be very hot like 86 (F) without the use of AC, so I was doing some research and found out that if the Attic is cool that It will help keep my second floor cool to 80 (F) or less like the first floor. My Insulation Guy company told me that I need to instal Radiant barriers to keep the heat from the sun out of your home. and they changed my attic insulation to cellulose insulation. SO I did and paid $$$$ for them instal Radiant Barriers (Foil), And cellulose insulation and Air sealed the attic floor, NOW this all was done in March and I have been trying it for the past 5 months, and the results are BAD, NO CHANGE IN THE ATTIC nor MY SECOND FLOOR temperature, the attic is still hot like last year no change what so ever and my second floor still hot like last year, I did not see any change what so ever. This review is for the radiant barriers and insulation, I am not reviewing My Insulation Guy as the company. so in other words and in my own experience Radiant barriers does not KEEP attic cool in the summer time.

After reading such highly rated reviews, I was eager to have this company give me an estimate. I have tried to make contact by phone (left messages) and appointment site. Just tried again, I assume this Jesse person just doesn’t like me or something. He could have at least called and told me that.
