Highly recommended killer! I moved into a place that had German cockroaches (who knew roach Nationality was relevant?). David Doll went above and beyond for two extermination appointments. David was wonderful, communicated when he was on his way, arrived on time, walked through the place, and talked me through what he was going to do. He showed me some places to caulk up before his next visit so the roaches can’t create nests again. We had removed our dishwasher so he could put poison behind and he laid bait on the dishwasher, which was outside, too. He was thorough and came back for a follow up. During the follow-up he sprayed the outside laundry shed, too. He called after the follow-up with a few details and noted that we could caulk the place where the outside air conditioner box connected with the apartment. Seriously professional, high attention to detail. Would ask David to kill again!

Major League Pest made the whole experience way easier than we imagined. Dan is the man—super professional, down to earth, fisherman-like me! and genuinely a great guy. Paul from Major League Pest came out to inspect my house for termites. I had signs of termite droppings on the perimeter of my house. My house was tented previously. I had recieved several quotes with very high price tags. Paul was very honest and concluded the droppings were from prior to tenting and that they were currently inactive. If you want an honest company that isn't trying to take advantage and make a quick buck off you, this is the pest control company that you want to call. Very pleased with them and very disappointed in the local competition.

We chose this company because of their great reviews on Google, but it’s a decision we now regret. Our experience was a huge disappointment which only caused additional and unwanted stress. It was so bad, I felt compelled to write this review; something I’ve never done on the internet. It started with one problem and just snowballed from there. First, I received a phone call from their office telling me that the heat treatment team had to reschedule because they couldn’t do the job on an open roof (a roofing company was doing repairs on our roof that day) and that there would be $500 “cancellation fee”. This was a surprise not just because of the high cost but because there was no mention of a $500 cancellation fee on the heat treatment form we were asked to sign prior to the appointment. Also, how would a customer have known that this would be a problem? I had informed this company beforehand that the roof was being repaired the day the heat treatment was scheduled and yet not one employee (termite/heat treatment professional) had the foresight to identify this potential problem and subsequent consequence before it happened? Way to set your customer projects up for success. Next, I noticed that the total on our invoice was off, and when I brought it to their attention, they said they forgot to deduct $900. Furthermore, when we looked at the repairs they did in comparison to the cost, we were shocked. Attached are photos of what we got for supposedly over $2,000 worth of repairs: a small piece of wood underneath the roof, new trim around a small bathroom window, and a poor paint job (certainly not the professional work you’d expect from a licensed and reputable company). The paint color they used is darker than the original color of the house but more disappointing than the color difference was how it was painted. Notice the 2 additional test swatches on the wall to the lower left of the window as well. To top off the disappointment with the repair team's poor workmanship and the exorbitant charges, they resorted to using intimidation tactics (the inspector told us that we wouldn’t be able to close on our VA loan if we didn’t go through with the heat treatment and threatened to send us to collections) after expressing our dissatisfaction. When a company threatens you in one sentence and then offers to help you in the next, the offer of help reeks of insincerity. This response to our legitimate complaint was unprofessional. I knew then that this was not a company we could trust and certainly not one that is customer focused. Communication with the owner, Paul, wasn’t much better. He said he was available to meet; on a date and time we weren’t available. By then, we had already chosen to take our business elsewhere. They knew we were operating on a timeline and had a deadline to meet. Besides, when the owner replied, “Your roofer had better luck with a paint match than we did” after I shared a photo of the professional work done on our home by the roofing company, it was clear there was no point in communicating further. When even the owner finds nothing wrong with the kind of “work” you see attached, what more is there to say? In the end, the company got what they cared about most: our money. The owner never addressed our complaint about the cost of repairs and continued to demand full payment. They waived the $500 cancellation fee; something we should never have been charged to begin with. Throughout it all, they expressed “confusion” though I clearly communicated by phone and by email, that I did not believe the charges matched the repairs/service provided. Fortunately, we had a great experience with the next termite company we chose. The next company went above and beyond to accommodate us and in such short notice. Everything was done quickly and to satisfaction in a day. They even did more repairs at half the cost! It was the positive experience we thought we’d get with Major League Pest but didn’t. Lesson learned.

This company cannot manage to provide details for a scheduled appointment, timely. Consistently have had the conversation that i need more than 18 hours notice for an appointment they have scheduled for service, at their convenience. I have asked for this reminder to be provided 1 week before on multiple occasions, but has never happened. The last notification for service was provided by them less than 18 hrs before the appointment scheduled at their convenience. I received a message at 3:23pm the afternoon before a 10:00am appointment for the next morning. If you want to sit around and wait for this company to provide you service at their discretion and convenience, this is the company for you. Not certain who has the flexibility in their busy schedules to engage this company for service, only at the company’s convenience and not the customer.

What they quoted for service/price and what they initially did was different. They came back and made it right after I called the office. And that's ok. Mistakes are made and I applaud they were willing to make it right. Unfortunately, I am only giving two stars because the technician who came the first time, came back again and we got into a very heated argument about the earlier service he performed. This negative interaction wasn't necessary, was rude, upsetting and very unprofessional. I'm sure he wasn't happy he had to come back at the end of his day and I simply got the brunt of it. ***UPDATE: The office manager, Eddie, from Major League Pest called soon after I posted and we spoke for 25 minutes regarding the details of the incident. He deeply and sincerely apologized for what happened, made clear the integrity of the company and the importance of making sure customers are 100% satisfied with their service. Eddie went above and beyond the call of duty and made amends. I respect that in the company and the effort put forth to earn my business back.

THEY WERE CONTACTED TO COME REMOVE A BEE PROBLEM AND THE BEES WERE NOT REMOVED. THEY CAME OUT AGAIN AND CHARGED US AGAIN AND TODATE BEES ARE THERE. THEY WERE INFORMED THERE MAY BE A NEST UNDER THE HOUSE ON THE FIRST TIME THEY ARRIVED. AFTER CONTACTING THEM THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO SEND OUT AN INSPECTOR. ??? today have not had an Inspector arrive.

Watch out! Guy came out to give a quote for termites, and tried to sell us on thermal heat treatment instead of fumigation (which if you add in all their extra costs and warranty would've cost the same as fumigation). He took "samples" of our wood and basically hammered huge dents into our rafters/wood fascia. Good thing we got quotes from other vendors, as they all basically said that was a scam and we would've had to fumigate anyways in 6 months, as well as repair warped windows.

We must say that our transaction with Major League Pest in the tenting of our mobile home was not a favorable one. After tenting, we pointed out damage/denting/pulling away from mobile of the trim around the top of the entire mobile. The response was very nonchalant stating that such possible damage is stated in the sales agreement. we were also informed of many other residents in this park complaining of damage from your company due to lack of care by your company while tenting. This information was not divulged prior to signing agreement. Rick came by to look and it stating basically that's the way it goes and we signed the agreement! He said he would have someone else come by to look at it. The person called on 8/11 while we were having our car serviced. By the time we were done he had a dentist's appointment. We waited at home all day yesterday (8/12) and today (8/13) and still have never received a call. This is a very poor way to handle a customer complaint. Basically, to just brush off the customer. We are sorry but because of the lack of care and response, we could not in good faith recommend your company.

If I could give a ZERO I would. I would be very careful trusting a termite inspection from this company and get a second option if they call for a tenting on your home. I have had hundreds of inspections and luckily knew that their call for tenting was not ok especially when they found zero evidence of termites and claimed they found "wings" on this property, a property that had a clearance less then a year ago. When I spoke with the owner he was rude, condescending and offered no other inspection to address my concerns that they were doing spot termites on a house that had active termites but called for a tenting on a house that had no evidence of any active termites. I found out the inspector was the owners daughter so maybe that's the reason I was treated like less then for daring to question this report. This is just a warning to consumers I will be reporting this company to the appropriate licensing boards because I gave them a chance to do the right thing and now have 2 other companies that have reinspected this property and disagree with their tenting requirement.
