We had an excellent experience with Jeff, a home inspector who specializes in rodent issues (and much more). From the start, he was an absolute fount of knowledge, providing a detailed overview of rodent behavior and carefully explaining what to look for and why it matters. We called Jeff because our home had some old rodent activity from prior owners back in 2019, and we wanted a professional opinion on whether there was any current activity or if everything was truly in the past. Jeff thoroughly inspected the situation, climbed into the attic, spent a significant amount of time up there, and took photos to document what he found. After completing the inspection, he talked with me and my wife to clearly explain his findings, share his professional opinion, and offer thoughtful recommendations. What really stood out is that—unlike many contractors—Jeff did not try to sell us additional services. Anyone who lives in Anaheim Hills knows how common rodent issues are, and many of our neighbors have been pushed into full attic insulation replacements costing $5,000 or more. So we were both shocked and incredibly relieved when Jeff told us the best possible news: we do not have a rodent problem. Any activity that existed had already been resolved by the prior owner, and Jeff genuinely recommended that we do nothing. Hearing that was such a relief. To top it all off, the attic inspection was completely free of charge. Afterward, Jeff even took extra time to walk around the exterior of the house and point out a few potential issues we may want to address in the future—purely helpful, no pressure. Jeff was polite, well-spoken, patient with our questions, and extremely professional. We’ve used home inspectors in the past, and they were good—but Jeff is truly a cut above the rest. He is honest, knowledgeable, and clearly puts integrity first. An amazing guy and an outstanding professional.
