I have used Barton’s Pest Service several times through the years for termite inspections on buying/selling homes, spider concerns, water bugs, and currently still carry their monthly pest control services. I had a rat issue, and they came right out! I had red ants another time, and they again came right out! Very professional, courteous and very affordable services I would highly recommend.

We recently bought a home and decided to give Barton's Pest a try. Two men came out the for the first spray and "jokingly" informed us that in Bakersfield it's impossible to keep the spiders away. I've lived in Bakersfield for 20 years and have never been told this or encountered this, past pest services did not have an issue. After Barton's sprayed we continued to have lots of various bugs showing up, even after accounting for the time it would take for the spray to take effect. If this is where our experience ended, I would give them 3 stars. Barton's then showed up at our house 2 months later without calling or giving us any notice that they were planning on coming out again. Nobody was home and we informed him that he was supposed to call and that we were no longer interested in their service. They then called today (a month later) and told my girlfriend that they were going to come out, she again told them that we would not be interested in their service in which they then informed her of and charged her a $70 cancelation fee. This is unacceptable. I will be reaching out to the BBB and disputing the charge to her card. Don't ever use Barton's, try somewhere else, anywhere else.

Just spoke with the woman who answers the phone she refused to give me her name and was quick to hang up after the fact that I wanted bimonthly service's for the 70 dollars I had told her we needed outside services and if the first service didn't work can we have them com back out and service she said no not with the service were buying after explaining she quickly got an attitude an said look elsewhere an hung up

Had been using Barton past control for a few years now. Had to stop service a few days ago. I would.call for service and sometimes they wouldn't show . No call at all. I was supposed to have a tech come out Tuesday April 17 2018 no one came. I held on to service so long because it actually keep the insects out the home but disappointed with the lack of communication. Wish i could.of continued .

Made initial call for service and spoke to the owner who I had met a few weeks earlier during my home inspection. He said he would leave a note for the secretary to call me back that afternoon. I didn't get a call back until a week and 1/2 later. I went ahead and scheduled the initial appointment. Tech showed up and said he could not spray do to wind over 10MPH. Wind was not blowing much that day. He offered to reschedule me 12 days later to witch I said I needed the service as soon as possible because we have a problem with spiders and such. He then reschedule for a couple of days after but he was a no-show. My original call to the owner was on the 31st of the month. It is now the 15 of the following month and no service yet.
