Fairway Lawns of Fort Smith

We used Fairway Lawns for two years (2024–2025) and initially had a positive experience. Many of our neighbors also use their services. However, last September, we noticed a stark contrast between our yards: our untreated backyard remained healthy and grew normally, while our front yard—serviced by Fairway Lawns—died completely. ​When the manager came out to inspect the lawn last fall, he admitted he "could not explain the devastation." It is clear that product was misallocated or an error was made during application, as the untreated portion of our property thrived while the treated portion was destroyed. ​Despite being long-term, loyal customers, we were told today that we would have to pay for the services required to fix the damage they caused. We offered them the opportunity to stand behind their work and remediate the lawn so we could continue our partnership, but they refused. ​While the staff has been polite and professional in person, the company’s refusal to take responsibility for a clear service error is unacceptable. If you value a company that stands behind their work when things go wrong, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I used Fairway Lawns for a full year of service and was repeatedly given empty guarantees like “the next treatment will be the one that fixes it.” After a full year, my lawn was left patchy and arguably worse than when they started. I accepted the loss and decided not to continue. That should have been the end of it — but it wasn’t. Despite clearly explaining that I was unhappy with the service and would not be continuing, I began receiving constant sales calls, at least weekly and sometimes more. I politely asked multiple times to be removed from their calling list and was assured that I would be. The calls did not stop. I finally told them that if the calls continued, I would leave a 1-star review. They called again anyway. I didn’t want to be “that guy,” but at this point it feels like harassment. If you choose to use Fairway Lawns, be aware: if you decide to cancel, expect persistent and unwanted contact afterward. This review is less about the lawn and more about the complete lack of respect for customer boundaries.

We are extremely pleased with the service we receive from Fairways Lawn. Our technician, Greg, has done a awesome job in restoring our lawn and keeping it healthy. He always explains any problems and how to address them. Our lawn has never looked better.

I don't know my yard was not sprayed 3132 31st terrace. my neighbor behind me was sprayed 3132 32nd terrace. Just letting u know.

I bought my house about a year ago and wanted a nice lawn. I have had Fairway for about a year now. I noticed that all the weeds in the front were starting to die off, but non in the back were. I have recently put up a camera system around my house. I noticed when fairway came out they were only spraying my front yard. I have been paying them now for over a year for my entire lawn not just the front. They have been cheating me out of service and money for a year now. I would not recommend them at all.

THEY DAMAGED OUR PROPERTY AND SENT MY $25 BILL TO COLLECTIONS THAT THEY ASSURED ME THEY HAD WAIVED AS THAT WAS ALL I ASKED FOR AFRER THE PROPERTY DAMAGE. I used Fairway for weed control the beginning of the year. The technician they sent out to service my house got locked in our back gate as the gate latches shut if not propped open. Instead of calling somebody their employee BROKE our gate to get out. I called the company and asked that any future services be cancelled and our one time service fee ($25) be waived and told them we would repair the damaged property ourselves. They agreed to cancel and waive all fees. But today I received a letter from a COLLECTION AGENGY, Fairway sent them my account because I didn’t pay the $25 one time service fee they told me would be waived. It’s bad business to damage property. It’s worse business that they didn’t send follow ups that we had an overdue bill or I would’ve reminded them of the agreement we came to. And it’s just downright terrible that at the end of it all, I’ll be having to make multiple calls and spending time getting this fixed so it does not affect my credit. Thanks Fairway.

I feel that Fairway Lawns is unfair..All because I cancel my service. I wanted to come back and now they want me to pay 200 dollars to start back up it shouldn't matter that I cancled. I always pay my bill never later or never had a phone call about payment...ill just take my business else were...Fairway Lawns are not the only Lawns care service.

They are rude disrespectful people they let a 16 year kid run around here he's allowed to do whatever he wants hit whoever he wants it is not a safe part for anybody kids there's nowhere for your kids to play it's a very rude and disrespectful RV park and stand

Fairway Lawns increased my rate without notice and billed me for a service they performed after my account was closed.
