Safeway Pest Control is a great service. Our service Technician, Paul goes above and beyond. Even reporting safety concerns in our office we weren't even aware of so we can take quick action. He is friendly and knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend Paul and his company.

I am updating my review after the owner called me. He agreed enough wasn’t done to justify the $195 charge. He offered a $100 discount & I feel that is fair. So I’m changing my review from two starts to 4. I’d seen a mouse & looked for entry points myself, so when the service person came I told him where they were & he put cheap & easy to tear “stainless steel “ in the holes & set some bait stations out. He even admitted the “stainless” his company used was garbage & wouldn’t keep them out. I kept hearing the poison being eaten every day so I looked for another entry point behind my washer & dryer & found the main entry Myself. I had told the guy to move the washer & dryer to check behind & he said it wasn’t necessary so did not do it. So I found all the entry points Myself, I put actual steel wool in them & caulked over the area Myself. So I basically fixed it all Myself, minus the bait & stations. What a waste of money! Save yours & do the job yourself.

I called Safeway to inspect my home recently as I heard critters in the walls on my second story. I had caught mice and flying squirrels lately and needed professional help. The friendly technician looked around from the ground level and then told me they don't climb roofs! WTH! How can you possibly find entry points from 25 ft. down on the ground? I was then asked for payment of $95 for basically nothing. The next nationally recognized company I contacted immediately found all the entry points and sealed them, eliminating my pest problem to my extreme satisfaction. Attention, Safeway...flying squirrels fly and mice climb walls!

We are sorry to hear about our services not meeting your expectations. If you would be so kind as to contact our office and ask for the owner, he can bring up your account and look into the details of what was done. A normal home inspection will consist of an interior and exterior inspection to identify potential entry ways into your home. We will seal up any small openings on the exterior of your home. If any larger openings exist on the outside, we will discuss the best way to seal those up. We do use ladders and will look in the attic and around the exterior. Unfortunately, we do not climb onto roofs as our insurance policy does not allow us to do so.
There was some minor confusion about the arrival time, but when the technician arrived he listened to my concern about a ground bee problem. There were several holes near each other and I wasn't positive which ones they were going in and out of. He said he would treat them all as one nest. There was still some activity in that area a week later and a technician retuned to retreat that nest again under warranty. Job well done!

They are the best!! I have had them take care of many different issues (ants, hornets, mice) and all have been rectified usually before they even leave and then the problem has not returned!!! They have even investigated and shown me where they were entering my home so we could fix the problem. Honest, dependable and affordable prices! I have had another company every summer try to get me to switch because apparently all my neighbors use them. Well I can say I know these Safeway people personally now over the years and trust them with my home!!

I called tried to set up service. The lady that I was speaking to on the phone kept cutting me off when I was speaking to ask me another question. It was so frustrating. I ended up just hanging up on her.
Their office staff doesn't know what they are doing. Sending paperwork to homes they service instead of the homes of the actual clients. Not good! Can't read emails.

We are sorry that you feel that there was miscommunication. We were unable to contact you after several attempts to try to obtain the correct address and phone number to continue further treatments and get paperwork out to you. We were told two different addresses and phone numbers by two different people so there may have been some confusion along the way.
These people lied about everything. My brother passed away so we asked them to come a few days later and they decided they wanted to recharge the $500 instead of the $100 they quoted. They are out to rip people off. Will be filing complaint with BBB also.

Bed bugs are never an easy task to eliminate. For that reason, we have strict standards on re-treatment intervals. If you go too long between treatments bed bugs will re-infest and void the work that we have done previously. Our service contract states in large print "Any lapse in treatment for 45 Days or more terminates the contract. If problems arise, additional charges may apply" which is given out to every bed bug customer. The technician did come out and was ultimately unable to do the treatment due to some construction going on at your home. The technician did advise you that you should call the office as soon as possible to re-schedule the appointment as you are getting close to your 45-day period. We received a call from you 7 weeks after your last treatment. The products that we use are only effective for up to 30-45 days depending on the conditions. After 30-45 days, the chemicals stop working and bedbugs begin multiplying. This means we are now treating a much larger infestation 7 weeks later When you called in, we did offer you a 50% discount on another initial treatment which you declined.
Had a worker from Safeway pest come in to our apartment to spray for ants. After the worker was done and had left we found that a large amount of money was missing from our apartment. The worker was the only person in side our apartment before the money went missing. This place is bonded and I don’t understand how a criminal can work they!!!!!

After you made the allegations, we needed to conduct an internal investigation. We take any complaints about our service very seriously. The police also investigated, all of which takes time. The conclusion was that there was no evidence our employee took the money. There is no history of similar complaints involving any of our employees. The particular employee accused has worked for us for some time and continues to work for us without incident.
I have continued to have consistent ant problems. When you buy a contract they say they will come back as much you need, but that is not true. They have a lot of "fine print" about how they can't come out if it's been less than 2 weeks between treatments, for example. I have worked with different companies and this is the first time I've heard this excuse. Their treatments have not worked and they aren't going to do anything to try to find a treatment that will work. I do not recommend.

Terrible. They sprayed without my knowledge and while my cat was still in my apartment. They locked him in the bathroom without water, food, or litter box. They left him in there all day not knowing when I would even be back from work.

Because of limited knowledge of the specifics regarding the occurrence, we have been unable to pinpoint any parties involved or where the incident occurred. But, if you are a renter, then there are Wisconsin laws in place regarding unauthorized entry. Per our procedures, we get permission from the landlord before entering, and we typically have the landlord and tenant make arrangements for the securing of any pets prior to service. Had this outfit out to my home last year to spray for carpenter bees and fill holes in the soffit. They charged more than other providers, but it was because they said they were filling holes with dowels. They claimed they filled dozens of holes. This year I called them back and they admitted on the phone they actually didn't fill any holes last year and their rate would be the same this year for simply spraying. Wondering what I paid for last year - since it wasn't the work they told me they were performing??
Horrible company don’t even waist your time or money! Bryan was rude and didn’t even do a real expection of my unit!
