They keep hounding me for money every month I pay and they lie and say they didn't get it.one time they charged me twice.I gave payment to technician and they keep emailing me and texting me saying I owe money and that I am late when I already paid.I still have ants I had them before they were good now I dont trust them.Next year I will choose another company.They are horrible but the techs are.ok

We contracted with Alta last summer because we were having problems with spiders and ants. They promised we wouldn’t have any more problems with cobwebs and they would even take care of the pests in the yard and we would only have to pay $54 a month in autopay. They came out 3 times in the course of the last year, and my grass started dying in patches all over the yard. We put our house on the market this summer and every time we had a showing I had to knock the cobwebs down on the front porch. Then when the house sold we called to cancel the contract and were told that we would have to pay a fine for breaking the contract. We had no problem paying that and I told them to send me a final bill and I would pay it. The bill came from a collection agency!!! Like I was past due or something!!! I would stay away from this company. I’m sure there are better ones out there.

What a disgraceful company. Jaquan has no manners. My friend was visiting and while we were sitting outside he started spraying chemicals on us. Give customers a chance to move away. There representatives are caught sleeping at job sights and we are tired of their unfriendly service. We will cancel the account. Do not recommend

Bryan & Cory were AMAZING! Bryan worked around my schedule after surgery/going BK to WK, Cory was AMAZING w/my 9yo daughter following him round asking ?s, lol. Tldr - Run away from this company and save your time AND money. 1. Terrible quality of service, certainly not worth of money 2. Their complementary services are just a way to charge your more (an inspector gave us a quote around 10k to clean insulation after we flushed rodents) 3. Their sales person will do everything to hide the real subscription price until the very end (when you sign a contract). That feels dishonest.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I am extremely upset with the overall service I experienced today. Are you A pest control or collection agency? Earlier, one of your team members, Jaquan, knocked on my door. My wife answered, and he told her that according to his notes, he needed to collect payment upfront. I asked him if I had any unpaid balance, and he confirmed there was none. I explained that I typically receive an invoice after the service is completed and then make the payment. He responded that there was no credit card on file. I told him that I am not on auto-pay, so there should not be a card on file. The conversation became awkward and unpleasant. I do not understand why my wife was asked for payment upfront when, for the past two years, I have always paid promptly upon receiving the invoice. I felt extremely humiliated and could not believe the exchange that took place. After Jaquan left, I checked my account (#66910) and confirmed there is no outstanding balance. I live in the Tehaleh neighborhood in Bonney Lake, where word of mouth is important. Encounters like this do not reflect well on your company. I want to be clear that I do not believe this was necessarily Jaquan’s fault—he was likely following instructions—but this experience has completely changed my view of your business. I had even been considering adding my rental property to your service. After today, however, I have decided to cancel all services for my Bonney Lake property. Please remove me from your customer list. If any of your team members come to my property in the future, it will be considered trespassing, and I will contact the police. Overall experience rating: 0 out of 10.

A salesperson knocked on my door in a neighborhood where solicitation is not allowed. I eventually agreed to their offer only because they claimed the service was just $40 instead of $50, on a month-to-month plan, and that I could cancel at any time. After signing up, I was bombarded with constant communication, which quickly became extremely irritating. When I tried to cancel, I discovered that the initial discount they promised was no longer valid; instead, I was expected to pay $300 for a single service—completely different from what the salesperson had told me. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this questionable and borderline predatory company. On top of all that, the service they did perform was practically ineffective.

Horrible experience with this provider, they were not on time in scheduling services and no response from their team even after following up. Now they are saying their sales reps are not responsible for scheduling follow up appointments and that I have to pay early cancellation fees. At least they can respond back with providing the correct contact to reach out to schedule subsequent appointments. The first and only service I received was also a bad experience as the rep was coming too close to me through out the appointment when I’m trying to show them the pest infestations in the house. I have complained about that right after the appointment as well.

I specifically got this sign because I’ve had a problem with this company in the past and their aggressive sales people. This kid showed up and bothered me on my day off from work asking me if I’m the queen of the house (very unprofessional in my opinion to address a person this way when you first meet them) and when I asked him what he wanted he proceeded to tell me his sales pitch and in return I pointed him to the sign I have posted on my property. I said “If you don’t know how to read that’s not my problem” and he walked away and said “blah blah blah” like I was inconveniencing him. The sign is so big you can see it from the street curb. My husband works nights so he has to sleep during the day or else our dogs wake him up when people knock/ring the doorbell at our house uninvited. When I get lied to my face with the old “your neighbor just got treatment and we got an offer for you since we’re in the neighborhood” pitch as if I don’t know my neighbors and know they have never used Alta for any pest control, it’s really a test of my patience. If you’re looking for pest control go to Long Pest Control or Rambo Pest Control. Don’t bother with this company.

We have had two treatments so far. I have tried to cancel the service because the treatments cause a soar throat and lungs feel heavy. Also the paint on our house is turning an off color. And front porch is stained from treatments. They said we would still have to pay to get out of one year contract early. Would not recommend this service to anyone. We have had best control service in the past with another company and had none of these issues and no bugs.

I had no idea what the hell Alta was or what they were selling until I googled to leave this review that I will NEVER hire your services if you think it’s okay to show up multiple times and also after 9pm.

Get a second opinion if you get a quote from this company. I initiated their services for the perimeter of our home to rid of spiders, ants, etc. They then called me and offered a free inspection of our crawl space/attic. The technician (who I later found out was their salesperson) informed me we had a severe rat infestation in our crawl space and we needed to replace the insulation there and in our attic as the rats had been moving through there as well. He even told me there was a dead rat upon entry to our crawl space. The price was going to be $19k for the work. He said this was a “must” and that they needed to do this job right away as the damage was really bad. When the staff came to start the job a couple days later, the lead worker had a different description of what was going on in the crawl space and could not replicate the same pictures. He even said there was no rat upon entry to the crawl space. I called off the job and told them I wanted a second opinion. The behavior from the salesman over the phone during this conversation was patronizing and he said “just go ahead and let the guys do the work today, and I’ll match whatever price your 2nd opinion gives you.” This is a picture of our pristine attic taken by the company that gave me a second opinion (Rambo). Alta was going to replace this insulation?! We were told by Rambo that our crawl space had some evidence of rat presence in the past but no evidence it was a current problem, nor did we need to spend almost $20k to fix an imaginary issue. I don’t enjoy writing bad reviews, but the behavior and tactics from Alta’s sales is nothing short of a scam, and we want to alert others to get multiple opinions if you want to use their services.
