This company will steal your money! I paid for them to come out and check my bait stations for 2 years in which they did not perform. I got a renewal notice and I called Orkin and told them I did not feel comfortable giving them 300 plus dollars to do a service that they did not provide for 2 year. The only response I got was "sorry our IT department fixed the issue and everything will be fine going forward." All I wanted was them to cover 1 year free since I paid for 2 years that they didn't fulfill on their end. We are not renewing are contract

I had my regularly scheduled service completed by Eric, who has been really nice over the years. He told me about a free inspection that Orkin offers to go in the attic to make sure all was well up there. I was grateful as I never had anyone go in the attic before. Two gentlemen came in less than a week to start the inspection. I was told I had mice and was shown pictures of droppings and burrows the mice had made in my insulation. I was offered a 3-tiered solution plan to get rid of them. The "best" plan was ridiculously overpriced, costing over $16,000. The second and third were no better. I told the gentlemen I will search around for a second opinion; one that was more cost effective. I was told they would match the price of any company if they offered the same type of thorough work. I called a local company who went into the attic 2 weeks later and found no evidence of mice anywhere. This company followed the footprints that were left by the Orkin guys,and showed me photos of a clean attic (one small dropping from a lizard or gecko). I was shocked and disheartened by the blatant lies of Orkin; trying a fear tactic to get me to spend thousands of dollars. The pictures Orkin showed me were NOT of my attic. I am warning others to stay away from Orkin and ALWAYS get a second opinion before having services through this company. They have definitely lost me as a client for this uncalled for, dishonest, "free" service offered to me.

Brand new customer here!!! Called orkin because of wasps were in my home and I am highly allergic. The representative I talked to on the phone told me that she could have someone out tomorrow morning at 8 and I asked could she get someone tonight because once again I am highly allergic. She then reached out to the local Killeen office and said she spoke with I believe his name was Sergio and she assured me that someone would be out here between 4 and 6 pm. Well 6:15 comes and I have no one at my home so I call the orkin emergency number and the representative inform me that they canceled and rescheduled the appointment yet no one from the Killeen office notified me or bothered to reach out. If this is how this company treats its customers you can count me out. I’ll be canceling my account and contacting the Better Business Bureau

After years of service from this company I am finally over it! Their business office is atrocious! I have preferred time slots for appointments to be after I’m off of work so they can spray inside and yet they consistently show up early in the morning so I miss service! I’ve had techs going through my medicine, sitting on my couch and had to ask them to leave. I’ve spent so much money and it’s always a hassle to get them to actually do the work! I’ve paid to have their special insulation sprayed in the attic and everything yet still have all the problems. Absolutely done with this company!! Recently they promised to show up after 4pm and no one showed then I receive a charge for the service when nothing was done! Do not use orkin

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ORKIN! First off let’s start with the fact that whatever poison they put down isn’t that effective. The main issue we have in our area is spiders, ants, & crickets. I switched to another company & anything that used to fly or crawl ceased to exist. We saw nothing but dead critters on the ground which tells you that it worked. Secondly, I made a payment arrangement with them so I could pay off my balance & terminate my services with them. Tell me why the agent told me that if I would pay by October 16th that I would be fine…that was a lie! It was notated on the account the agreement we had but they proceeded to try to send the account to collections. I called them and confronted them about it and they said oh yeah we do see that in the notes after the agent said there was no way they could stop the collection. I told him I would pay that day & afterwards terminate the account because I didn’t want anything to do with them. I paid and I asked for proof that it was paid because if yall can’t even honor an agreement we had, what makes you think I trust you? Yall could say anything or try to slap me with a collection even though it was paid in full. Oh let me not forget, although I had an agreement with them, they would harass me EVERY SINGLE DAY via email about the amount I owed as if I didn’t know. The date in question never passed and if I wasn’t getting emails, I was getting phone calls, voicemails, & letters. Long story short, yall can do a whole lot better than this company..look elsewhere.

DO NOT TRUST ORKIN. What a scam. I was told by James that my home was infested with RATS! He said all the insulation in my attic was saturated with rodent droppings and urine and that it all needed to be removed and replaced. Also said it was a huge fire hazard! The price options were $13,000.00 or $10,000.00 depending on how much insulation I chose. I told James I was getting a 2nd opinion and he offered to price match! I got a second opinion from ABC Pest Control and found out NO INFESTATION! Light activity with a few access points that needed to be sealed. Absolutely no need to replace insulation and they can seal the access points, set and monitor traps with a 3 year WARRANTY AND ANNUAL INSPECTION FOR a total of only $1400.00! Save yourself the stress and don’t waste your time or money with Orkin.

Everything seemed pretty good from the beginning the gentleman who showed up was extremely professional. Set everything up on easy pay a little upset that he was lazy and didn’t really shut the phone so my dog was hanging out out front for about an hour come the second time they did not communicate with me, and then I got charged for the guy just to walk around my yard and play with my dogs and didn’t even spray which remind you everything was caught on camera and still recorded then the next month I wanted to test it and see if they were actually gonna spray this time caught them on camera just looking into the backyard didn’t do anything and then sat in his car for about an Hour or so, and I got charged for that. Terrible customer service do not recommend them.

Super expensive, be aware of what you are getting and the prices, especially when signing a contract for a project. I chose to cancel my contract for lack of recent evidence and Orkin charged me, "nearly", $100 for every time that they stopped by, even if no work was done, besides stopping by to see empty traps. If you are unsure, do not sign, or you will pay a very hefty and unreasonable price if you need to back out of a contract.. learn from my mistake, you customers have been informed.. good day!

I've used Orkin for the last 6 years and have been satisfied up until recently. When prices went up I moved my services to every 3 months and it seems they can't keep it like that. I'm constantly having to call to change my service date to keep it on the 3 months. This last phone call, I canceled my service and will go elsewhere for Pest Control services. During the holiday hours I got a text with my next appointment time, which was not 3 months out. I had to leave a voicemail because it was not business hours. I got a call back on Saturday with a rescheduled appointment that was fine. Monday I got another voicemail with a new appointment time that was not 3 months out. I had to call again. The office staff not only wouldn't listen she wanted to argue with me. Customer service has really gone downhill.

I had the worst experience ever with Orkin. The previous company I used went out of business so, I contacted Orkin to maintain my quarterly service. When I scheduled the appointment, I informed them I was having issues with ants. A technician came out and treated the inside and outside of my house. I called back twice for a follow-up appointment due to still having issues with the ants someone came out and the problem still wasn’t resolved. I called back a third time and was told the manager will come out and try to resolve the problem the next day. Well, the manager was a no call no show. I contacted the company the next day to cancel my service. I spent over $400 with this company and my issue wasn’t resolved. As a customer I will never forget how this company made me feel. I scheduled an appointment with a local company and within 48 hours the ant issued was resolved.

I would like to amend my previous review. I have now been canceled on twice after my appointment start time for their one month follow up. The office will not answer their phone and the man who i have been in contact with has blamed me for not calling the office to schedule, when i was already scheduled multiple times. This is a pathetic way to go about doing business. Incredible job done by the man who came out to spray. Very informative and so helpful!
