Terrible experience. I hired this company for a pest inspection, and their technician stepped on the drywall in my attic and damaged my ceiling, leaving a large hole. What’s worse, the company has taken zero responsibility—no repair, no follow-up, nothing. Completely unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

Very nice fellow came out for my initial treatment. He and Alex seem to know what they were talking about. We will see how it goes. Too early to tell. The only big problem I have is mosquitos . They are awful so I am anxious to see if there is any improvement.

I’ve had Aptive for about a year and a half. The service is hit or miss. After this last treatment today, I’m done with this company. Between poor service, scheduling me when I’m not even due for a spraying, etc. I wasn’t home when they came today. They didn’t appear to stay very long from what I saw on my cameras. I don’t think they did a good job. I also didn’t receive any feedback from them as to what they did. I’m ready to cancel. I’m not paying for this anymore. I’m done with Aptive. *Update: I canceled my entire account and couldn’t be happier to never pay this clown company another dollar.

After your initial agreement ends they put you on a month to month plan without any notice and is much more expensive. If you try and cancel their services all together but there's an appt on the books they won't let you. You cannot cancel your appointments or your month to month agreement that was auto put in place on their website. You can't remove your payment method from their website.

Aptive Pest Control was a complete mistake. Their sales tactics are misleading and pushy, promising results that they absolutely do not deliver. Once you’re signed up, it feels like you’re locked into a contract that’s much harder to get out of than they make it sound. The technician Isais who came out today was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Instead of addressing concerns, he made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. On top of that, the treatment itself was ineffective — the same pest problems are still there. Customer service has been no help at all and seems more interested in defending the company than fixing issues. Overall, overpriced, dishonest, and poorly run. I strongly recommend going with a local company instead.

I am so disappointed with service yesterday. The agent that came seem to not care. Based on his actions not being consistent with what I told him , what my concerns where. He finished my upstairs which has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms in less than 10minutes. The outside was done in less than 10mins. I am overpaying for this service. It’s time to cancel and look for professional company that hires people that care.

I won’t be using Aptive once I find a new provider. The wrong house was serviced and the tech had to come back after I texted him he serviced the wrong house. Makes me wonder how many times this has happened in the 6 years we have used Aptive. His reply was oh know, lol, ok, I’ll go back. Not even an apology. The actual service was poor/incomplete. He didn’t address any of the areas that I stated about the back porch. He didn’t even check in like other techs do.

I cancelled my account to consolidate services. I have yet to receive the receipt for the cancellation I need in order to receive a credit for the early termination fees. I’ve called their contact center numerous times and have not gotten anything resolved. For one, my address was never correct on the account. Then they say they sent the email through there system manually, and I don’t get it. The reps, who sound like they may be based outside of the US, say they cannot mail me my last invoice and receipt. Why is it so hard? I try to talk to supervisors and it’s the same. It’s unbelievable.

Update as of 11/14/2025: If I could give separate reviews from Aptive as a company and the Technician I would love that, but unfortunately I cannot so I am leaving the 1 star for now. Let me make it very clear, the technician KWAN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING- major A+ for effort. Our serious issue of wasp in the house was still not been resolved as of yet. We know the wasp are coming in through the fireplace, but cannot figure out how they are getting in. Kwan legitimately made every effort to find out how they are getting into the fireplace. You could tell it bothered him so much to not be able to resolve the issue. He contacted his Operations Manager Shawn and he advised Kwan that he will come out to help try to figure this out. He is currently out of town but will be coming Monday, November 17th. I will keep updating my review throughout the process. All photos that I have taken over time with the time stamps is attached. *First appointment 11/5/2025 *Reservice appointment 11/7/2025 *Call with Cancellation Team 11/13/2025 *Reservice appointment 11/14/2025 The very first appointment I was supposed to be assured that the wasp problem IN OUR HOME would be taken care of. The tech was very nice, but obviously did not take care of everything that needed to be taken care of as the wasp have still been in our home daily. This was my main concern. I was not really going to be picky about anything else that was not handled, but because the wasp issue in our home has still not been resolved I am going to point out every thing that was not taken care of during the first visit on 11/5/2025- Wasp are still in the house, Wasp nest outside the home were not knocked off the home, spiders, along with their webs were left on the home as well. I cannot make it any clearer that I CANNOT have wasp in our home. I do not care what has to be done, but I need the wasp out. That was the original reason for us hiring a pest control company, otherwise I would not have hired Aptive or any pest control company. On 11/7/2025 we had a reservice as the wasp are still IN THE HOUSE. I made it very clear to this second tech that I need the wasp gone. He sprayed the top part of the chimney and said if there are any wasp in there this will kill them. We STILL have wasp IN THE HOUSE!!!! I am currently on the line with an Aptive Manger named McKyle in the cancellation department and he is assuring me that they are going to send someone back out on 11/4/2025 between 8-10AM to get on the roof and investigate the chimney, and remove any nests, if there are any. The manger is saying that if a nest is not found in the chimney I will need to call back for a "field care request" which is a team that comes out to find where the wasp are and where they are coming from. I am praying that this is all true statements and this gets taken care of, otherwise I will be cancelling with Aptive.

Horrendous experience. Do yourself a favor and call ABC pest control instead. I had an emergence of asps (poisonous flannel moth catepillars) and needed a single treatment. After explaining this at length over the phone, a single service was scheduled only to have a the serviceman, Wyatt, show up knowing nothing about the reason for my call. He did not even know what an asp was and needed to call a colleague for recommendations on how to treat for them. He did, however, tell me about all the other things he intended to spray for, which I did not want or need. After the call, he recommended a spray which we learned together was toxic for my cats. I was foolish and signed a multipage service agreement in my front yard without reading the fine print, given it was provided to me at the time of our visit while Wyatt stood there with a sprayer, waiting. He neglected to share that this was an agreement for a 700 day service agreement with me that included a 200$ cancellation fee. I have attempted to cancel my service agreement multiple times (with a manager in South Africa), resigning myself to paying the fee, but I can't even get them to send me the invoice. I've never experienced anything like this and am at the point where I may need to send a cease and desist letter to cancel the service.

We contracted for general external pest control around the exterior of our house and outbuildings. Today a tech came out and spent 5 minutes supposedly doing that. He forgot to do our shed, nor did he inspect the property for other signs of infestation. He texted pictures of the house but not of him spraying anything. The bill for this? $147.22. Even if I’m generous and say he was here 15 minutes that puts their hourly rate at $588.88 per hour. Called their call center to cancel the service and get a refund 4 times. Customer service skills of their managers are abysmal. They interrupt, fight, explain their “policies” but service is not their forte. They refused the refund but, we stopped payment with our credit union. I cannot recommend them for anything other than annoying you and providing a headache.

I've waited for contact back from Zack (supposedly the operation supervisor out of austin) since yesterday. I got roped in thinking they could treat for fleas as they assured me they could. The problem has only gotten worse which has cost me so much out of pocket repeating treating home and property myself plus my poor dogs. I waited all day for someone to come out today that did less than 10 minutes of work, putting granules out, didnt do inside, but doesnt have proper equipment to. I do think the people that come out are nice, but they aren't given equipment to get the job done. All they want is the sale after that they dont care it seems.
