I have 21 stations and not all were found and examined. All should be done to complete. Let me know when the my inspection will be finished pursuant to my contract.

Over priced and pose as neighborly pest control. I had a tough time, keeping up with bills and they were not understanding. In fact they kept charging me. Despite all that I still had issues with pests.

👎🚫They will send you to collections for $400 cancellation fee if you MOVE!!!! And the salesman didn't keep his phone number! I TOLD salesman I might move SOON and that I wouldn't want service after the move and that I would not want a cancellation fee obviously if the reason is me moving. He said no problem. Unreasonable for the salesman to not state the higher than normal $400 cancellation fee and the insane requirements to show proof of move, in order for him to try to make a quick sale. Most other places have a $250 cancellation fee and only need a rental agreement no matter if it says nothing about pest control. Since sales people change every few months, Alta refuses to make sure to get a hold of the sales person who sold it to me because they don't keep in contact apparently with their salesman, so anything the sales person says MEANS absolutely nothing because if the person doesn't work there still then they won't honor your word. When I did move, come to find out I had to meet criteria by providing my rental agreement and it has to state that the owners don't allow me to have Pest!?!?! Plus my bill was $90 EVERY month!!!! By a more reasonable company (not Alta), I was later quoted $45 with literally the same services included. Even though the salesman knew that that is something I could not pay and that I would not pay and that that's absolutely terrible just because the salesman wants to make a sale.

First of all this company promised me things they didn't follow through with I called and canceled service with them did not want to continue however they showed up anyway said I didn't call them and build me $140, not very professional if you ask me oh and I'm sorry they went back and charged me 300$. I called to cancel after the 1st Technician appointment because I was promised something I wasnt.given and cancelled service. They said I never called to.cancel but I did.

No one showed up at my house for service. There was someone home but no one knocked on my door and we have cameras as well and no one was seen show up. This is the worse pest control company ever I only keep it because I do not want to pay the $200 and something cancellation fee

This has got to be the most aggressive salesperson I've ever met. I have pest defense, I told the guy I wasn't interested. I also said I had a meeting to go to, and he just kept talking. I eventually had to shut the door on him. Eventually, he came back, rings the doorbell multiple times, and knocks super aggressively (who knocks for about 10 seconds?). I have kids. It's pretty obvious from the toys in the yard and the minivan. Take a hint and leave me alone if I say so (and closed the door on you after you wouldn't stop talking!).

IT IS NOT LEGAL FOR YOU TO PERFORM A SERVICE ON MY PROPERTY WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I previously had left a 5 star review but I am amending that review after my second service from Alta. I will no longer be using their services. What was communicated to me was that they would come out for the first visit then return 30 days later, then every other month following the 30 day follow up visit. The industry standard is 3-4 months for those who don’t know, but I was initially okay with bi-monthly because the service is relatively inexpensive. They came out for their first visit on October 2nd and returned for the follow up on October 22nd. I was given no notification they had scheduled my follow up appointment. They claim to have sent a text message the technician was on his way but I did not receive that message. I got a notification to review the technician and an email confirming they had come by. It is not okay with me that they scheduled an appointment without notifying me. Its not okay with me they came to my home and were on my property without notifying me. It is not okay with me they came back 10 days early without my consent. It is not okay with me that when I called to express my grievance with them coming back after 20 days they told me within two weeks is fine. Their solution is that they can put a note in my file that says i want to be notified two days prior to the appointment. It is unacceptable to me that that is not already the company standard. It is also a legal requirement that they notify you 48 hours in advance. It is inexcusable to me that this company thinks its okay to just show up whenever they feel like it without letting you know. Im going to be out of the country for most of December, my property would be inaccessible if they just showed up. It is ridiculous to me that they think its okay to not communicate with you when they have scheduled your appointment for until the technician is on their way. The first technician called me when he realized I wasn't home to get my consent to treat my property. The second technician did not, on top of not receiving the text notification, had he called I would have told him it was not okay. I feel incredibly violated that someone was on my property without my knowledge or consent. Alta does not care. I am extremely disappointed because my first interaction with this company was very pleasant. Save yourself the money, there are better pest control companies. This one sucks. This is not about the money at all. I am extremely pissed that your company violated my consent to you being on my property. You seem to think that because your contracts are vague you can do whatever you want. You can't. You are actively breaking laws. You are in full breach of our contract. I have filed complaints with the Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas Attorney General Consumer Complaints, and the BBB. I hope they shut your business down. I can't tell if the people running this company are stupid or just malicious. Probably a mix of both.

Missed a large and pretty obvious wasp nest at our most recent service in spite of me mentioning to double check the eaves and noting that 10 minutes seemed to be a pretty quick service time when he announced he was done. Husband got stung. Not happy about this.

Thanks Edward! Respectful service. Update: I respect the service, but they do not have the infrastructure to provide treatment more than once a month if you need. You will end up treating yourself. Tip: Careful of the deadlines and tricks to get you in collections. Recommendation: I cancelled and started handling myself with some recommended store products (post contract). You can too.

I was at work when Alta decided to without warning send a technician to my house for routine pest control. I came home and saw fire ants covering my steps in the back yard. It felt like I was being charged while nothing got done. I was given no update with specific work done beside the fact that the technician was there.
