Trey was EXCEPTIONAL. I’m a single mom and I had a lot of questions around flying insects and nests around my home. Trey was thorough, kind, a took his time to tailor there services to my specific needs! He also gave me pointers on keeping my kids safe and bite free. He also was great with my dog! I would recommend him again and again!

Do not use these people! They sign you up for a subscription service without telling you and don't even come out to do the service. We told them we had a newborn and they still charged us and didnt provide a service. THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM! We got advion cockroach bait gel from Amazon and it got rid of them in 1 week! It only costs 20!!
I requested services to deal with mole removal/extermination. The representative who showed up was not able to answer my questions on the process they would use. He said he would talk to someone and call me back. He never did.
Update 1/11: Despite their response saying they removed my email and closed my account I just received another email invoice so, again, they were clearly just lying to cover themselves. Don't trust these scumbags. Poor customer service. I have not lived at an address they serviced for years and have requested many times to their service e-mail address for them to stop sending me receipts and invoices but they continue to send them. Edit: Their response to this review is totally false as the recent e-mails I've gotten were confirmations of receiving payment for recent services at the address that I have not lived at for several years. The initial service with them up to now is for my elderly grandmother's house which I had lived at and was helping her to deal with house upkeep. She is very wealthy and has people such as myself to ensure all of her bills are paid on time and in full. Additionally, there has never been any outstanding or unpaid balance with them. The only problem I had was that they kept sending emails about paid invoices/services rendered unrelated to me after I had moved out which has nothing to do with me and they ignored my requests to remove my email from their records. If Berrett Home Services is servicing a property controlled by an elderly person I implore you to be very careful about how this business interacts with them because they may take advantage if unchecked.

Hello. thank you for reaching out. You kept getting emails because you had a balance due when you cancelled your service that was never paid. I waived it for you at this time as a courtesy. Your account is closed and your email as been removed.
I deleted my previous review, because right before the new year I was lied to. They have deceptive reps/techs. I made an appointment to have a pest removed, as a current customer, and then they called back to say they were going to charge me. I told them no one told me that when I made the appointment. A trap was left in my yard and the animal was in it. The repercussions claimed it was past the date, no it wasn't because they removed a previous one and left a new trap. Even so, it's not my fault they your company didnt keep up with that. I told the rep not to come on my property of you are going to charge me. He said that they wouldn't charge, but will release the opposum in my yard and retrieve their trap. I said no you will not release the animal in my yard. I have a concern about those animals because I have a small dog. He said he will consult with his manager and I told him do not send anyone. The Call ended. Later a tech calls ans tells me he's on his way to pick up the pest. I begin to tell him about the phone conversation, he interrupts me and says he doesn't have anything to do with that. Then says, he will call to find out and call me back. He did and said that they will pick it up and not charge me. I said are you sure and he reassured me. The trap was in my backyard, so I had to let him in. He gathered the trap and left. Later, I received an email with an invoice for $81. I replied and told them they they lied and if they charge my account they will hear from my attorney. Since it was the holidays, I went on vacation. Today, I see an email with two invoices for $81 and $76.19. I have yet to speak to anyone, because I return tomorrow but I was lied to and I think this company should be ashamed of themselves. They messed up, not me. What should have happen or the best customer outcome, is pick up the trap and animal, then say this is the last time, next time you will be charged. Don't lie and tell me that I'm not and then try to charge me. Terrible. Do Not use this company. I can't wait for my extended warranty to be over.
Believe the negative reviews regarding pricing deception. They are call center based. No one in actual office setting all lies. The services provided did nothing for what we paid for pest control. Even with following their list. Calling to have to keep coming out clearly the chemicals they use isn’t strong enough.Called and they presumed to transfer me to a cancellation department that they never called back on as they said. In all do not use this company they are taking advantage of consumers and clearly keep charging you after pricing was told differently at time of sign up. This would be day 3 I have called to leave a message regarding the services and extra charges.
Overpriced for the service. I didn't want nor was I informed they signed me up for an extended period of service for additional fees!

We were able to close the contract early for you as well, waiving the cancelling penalty. We're sorry you were unhappy with the service.
I now have massive water bugs so their service is not effective. I do not like this company and they are giving me a hard time about cancelling. They said I signed a 12 month contract but when I signed up, they said it was for 4 months. Now I have to get my attorney involved. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! They are a den of crooks. They charged us $2500 for a simple coil replacement after coaxing us to start a monthly membership with them. Not only that but they overfilled the freon to the brim (if you google "what happens when you overfill freon" the number one result is that it could lead to compressor failure, and then had the audacity to tell us "oh your compressor might need to be replaced soon" knowing very well that they were the ones causing the damage!! The unit gave out a couple days later and we hired another company, who pointed this out to us. So Berretts is either completely incompetent and didn't know HVAC maintenance 101 (that overfilling freon would cause compressor damage), OR they did this intentionally to damage our unit so they can make a pretty penny on the other end. Either way, completely unacceptable and I've never had a worse experience. Would give them 0 stars if I could - stay away from this company.

Charged me $50 for a monthly service that they never performed. They say they can come out anytime and I can schedule a request. They charge you on auto pay and hope you forget about it so they can just collect the revenue. Shady business practices. Never been billed like this before work is done. Never have I had a company do this. Stay away! Edit: called today to discuss this on the phone and was transferred around to a "manager" three times where I explained my issue only to learn that the person wasn't a manager. Absolutely no accountability or competency. Edit 2: two months after cancelation they are filing notice fondest collector of an outstanding balance despite me canceling my service. How this company has such good reviews is beyond my understanding. Stay away.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with your service. We explain the service and billing process on the initial phone call. It's also outlined in detail on your service contract. The service is Quarterly. We took the usual Quarterly price and broke that up into manageable monthly payments. Each time you make a monthly payment, your service is active for another month. You can schedule anytime you need us, as often as it takes to gain control of the pests. And you don't pay anything extra, you just have the one low monthly payment that is invoiced at the same time each month. We will come out routinely every 3rd month to replace the barrier of protection around the outside of the home. Most customers really appreciate this billing plan. I am sorry it wasn't for you. Management is reviewing your account to see how we can best assist.
Our home experienced a rodent issue a few months ago. We had a rat make its way into our garage. We called Barrett Pest Control in which they did come out immediately. I paid around $200.00 for the traps to be set along with an exterior spray. The company stated they would call in 10-14 days to remove the traps along with spraying the inside of our home as we were not home at the time of service. The customer service agent pitched a good sale stating, if we sign up for the monthly service Barrett would place us on a service schedule once a month for interior and exterior service. We figured that would be great, so we agreed to the service. A phone call was never received by Barrett pest control to remove the traps inside the garage as agreed to. We then receive a bill in the mail for the next monthly service in which the first one was never fully completed nor traps removed. I called the customer service line to have our account closed as the services agreed on were not provided. The customer service agent stated we had to complete the 4 months which was not mentioned when first signing up for the monthly service. I explained to the customer service agent our issues with the services as they were not completed. She stated we had a 4-month obligation to the company for services but would close the account. As I thanked her for closing the account she hung the phone up. I would never recommend this company to anyone that I know nor would advertise this pest control company. The lack of communication, customer service, professionalism, and reliability at Barrett Pest Control in my own experience is awful.
