Met for a consultation and they were supposed to reach out with a plan. Never heard from them again. Also I didn't feel like he was very knowledgeable with plants or finishes. I knew more and that's saying alot.

I’ve used Chorbie for about a year. The neighbor used them. We had just moved here. I didn’t know, but the neighbor had fired them months ago.The price was very good. But there’s probably a reason for that. The crew I don’t think they are ethical. They would constantly slack on the edging and they would leave trash in my yard , sometimes.They wanted to charge me for stuff on the side. And then just recently I said I would keep them two weeks a month during the winter and when I came home, I was out of town, the bushes were trimmed. It’s not time to trim bushes. When I called the company and asked why did they trim the bushes? The company didn’t want to deal with it. They said oh the crew said they didn’t. I was thinking they were gonna try to ask me for money on the side. When I hired them before to Trey Bush‘s last year, I didn’t know they worked for Chorbie. They were just doing the neighbors yard. So they were getting paid by Chorbie and by me.But what it comes down to is lack of integrity in the company in the management and the people they hire are questionable so I told them I don’t wanna do business with them anymore. They asked for before and after picture. I had sent them pictures before and after. And it was in the feed. They didn’t even look to see if they had the pictures. They must be desperate for workers. After I posted this review they contacted me. Trying to work a deal. When all of this happened, I tried to work a deal with them. Send me a different crew. I tried to make it work. They didn’t want to. They didn’t do anything until I posted this review and they wanted to then help me I said no I moved onbecause the response that they put make it sound like they worked it out or they helped me or something that’s not true.

I recently noticed an invasive grass growing in our front yard despite the scheduled lawn chemical treatments with Chorbie. I contacted Mads Peterson, client account manager at Chorbie about the problem. As before, he replied to my email promptly and scheduled a visit next day with Michael, Chorbie's lawn chemical supervisor. Michael spotted the problem right away and recommended an updated chemical application over time for the problem. Then he spotted a couple of other problems I hadn't even seen and recommended appropriate remedies. Thanks both to Mads and Michael for the prompt, friendly and very helpful service to address all problems. I have used Chorbie's lawn chemical, shrub bed and mowing services for several years and have been very pleased.

The guy mowing and trimming my yard does a great job. I really like that he cuts the grass in a different direction each week so that there are no wheel ruts that build up over time. The rimming is good and cleanup is better than I could do myself. All for a price that is comparable to other services that aren't as meticulous. Good job Chorbie.

Chorbie has been our lawn care service since moving to Frisco about 4 years ago. We have been very happy with the care they take of our lawn. Recently we opted in to their lawn aeration service. Thomas came out and did our first aeration service. Thomas did a great job and gave us some additional tips that will be very helpful. We definitely recommend their service!

First time having our yards done since we moved in. Highly recommend this company and Chavez Jurado did a good job! SKIP FORWARD 8 weeks! Be careful using this company to do your yard work! Saw their ad on FB and requested a quote. They sent it and I accepted it, set it up to start the next Friday. They did our yard 7-8 weeks in a row and then after completing it last Friday morning they sent an email that night around 5 pm telling me they could no longer service our yard due to its size? What kind of business are they running? To me, that's BAD BUSINESS! If they would have asked for more money I would have been open to negotiating but to just quit? DO NOT USE....... Now that I’ve given them a bad review they’ve blocked me from their social media sites and removed my complaints! DIRTY, DIRTY BUSINESS………..DO NOT USE

SHADY company Fraud. Complete cheaters. They told me that it’s 30 $ per month. I checked my account. They are charging 30$ per service. They used to come whenever they wanted to. No explanation of frequent visits. Paid 1380 for mowing small area. Could have bought 3 good mowing machines. I ‘m going to sue them to auto deduct excess amount from my credit card and sending people whenever they wanted to . Lady over phone was super rude. Clearly stated “ not going to refund any amount “ Simply meant that we succeeded in making a fool out of you. Good luck. Never ever recommend such shady company to anyone.

I hired Chorbie 8/13/25 to do regular weekly mowing services! They were scheduled to come out the following day 8/14/25 which is today, but did not arrive until 7:48 pm which was late to mow a lawn good before it got too dark. Instead of mowing right away, the 2 guys stood around contemplating if they were going to mow or not. They complained that there was a lot of grass to mow! How ridiculous! Of course there is a lot of grass to mow. It’s a yard full of grass! They complained that my grass was high. How can a mowing company complain that they have to mow grass! That’s their job! They ended up not mowing and left without telling me anything else. Here are pictures of my normal yard which just needed the grass mowed 3inches! This was my first experience with Chorbie, and do not recommend anyone use this company if this is the service they don’t provide! See photos attached

Let me just preface this by saying Chorbie DID comp the mow after I complained. But I still had to spend $200 and waste 4 hours of my weekend fixing their mess. I just got back from overseas. The lawn hadn’t been cut in about a month, so it was pretty long. I wasn’t expecting perfection, but what I got was honestly the worst lawn service I’ve ever paid for. It’s a small, basic yard. They charged me $130 for an overgrown cut and somehow still skipped edging completely and didn't touch any weeds. To make it worse, they took fallen branches and threw them into my bushes and on top of my plants. One of their mowers was leaking oil and left a trail all over my sidewalk and driveway. That ended up costing me $200 to clean up. There were also tire marks all over the sidewalk. None of this was professional. I don’t care that the mow was free in the end. It still cost me time, money, and a ton of frustration. I wouldn’t let Chorbie touch my yard again if they paid me. STAY AWAY FROM CHORBIE.

I've used Chorbie for several of our rental properties over the past year or so. I was pleasantly pleased and surprised with the service and communication. However, something has changed drastically in the last 3 weeks as I tried to hire them again for another property I did not hear back from anyone for a week and a half, emailed a different rep took him half a week to get back to me then we played phone tag. Still haven't heard back from him got an email from somebody else from my initial inquiry over 3 weeks ago apologizing say they've been busy. I guess they're too busy for customers and too busy for more business! I strongly do not recommend them as they do not seem to have the interest or bandwidth to have contact and communication with their customers.

We have used their lawn/fertilizer service for several months based on a recommendation from a neighbor. We have not been impressed. There have been numerous areas that were simply not mowed. We would contact them and they always had an excuse and said the issue would be remedied. Last week, the service guy who mowed propped open our gate with a large rock. He forgot to remove the rock and close the gate. Our dog got out!! Luckily, I was home and we have trained him to go to the front door. This could have been disastrous for our pup not to mention that the opening left our backyard exposed to intruders and the possibility of someone drowning in the pool. My husband promptly called and asked to speak with a manager on the same day. We have yet to receive a call back. Needless to say, we will not be using this service ever again. I would rate this company a zero if I could!

Na, worst company to use. They did the least they could possibly do. Not to mention, back yard didn't get done, edging, didn't clean debris off, if there was trash in the yard, just ran over it and left it. Find someone else.

Changing from a 5 star review to a 1 star review. I have been a Chorbie customer for years and have referred several people to use them but I am cancelling service as of today. I have weekly mowing service, plus weed & fertilizer service that I pre-pay for totaling over $2100/year at my elderly parents' home. They have asked the lawn crew many times to please trim the grass pictured below but they were told that is additional service. I called my account manager to see if something can be done and he offered me hourly service at $64/hour. If the lawn could be done in a half hour this would increase my annual bill over $1000 to do 2 minutes of additional work because they have rocks around the trees and in front of the house. UPDATE: I received a call back and Jody offered 6 free months of flower bed service after which would be $39.99/month. So it wouldn't be over $1000/year but only $320 for 8 months of flower bed care that I don't need.
