Our lawn went from yellow and crunchy weeds to a lush, green, fluffy oasis. I had originally reached out to another lawn service in town and got a 2nd opinion from Lone Star Lawn who took the time to stop by and actually see the lawn in person (not via Google earth like the other company) and he was honest, reasonable and to the point with me. They schedule services at reasonable intervals, communicate via email and text with me, have online pay, and the whole business has just been efficient, kind and easy. 100% would recommend. I've added before and after photos.

I have called and left messages multiple times over weeks of time. I have texted multiple times. I have even reached out through the website I'm the contact us section and NEVER HEARD BACK. They obviously dont want more business.

I apologize for the issue but no online forms or messages unanswered on the business line. What service were you looking for and are you reaching out to the correct company? The business number is 325-660-4672 and if you call or text it will be answered or responded to that day. People confuse Lone Star Landscaping with us all the time and we don't mow or do any maintenance. I am the owner and will take care of this issue personally just reach out. Original response was 3 hr. after review and edited 10/9 waiting on a response. UPDATE This individual did not contact this company. Phone calls can go unanswered and hard to trace. An online form or text is easily tracked down in the search history. This complaint has been reported to google.

I have been extremely happy with the service I have received from this company. Carpenter ants invaded my home and Ken Appleton came and treated for them and took care of it. He is the owner of the company and I have been completely satisfied with every aspect of dealing with them.

I usually am not one to complain, but I had a frustrating event take place. Apparently, a now former employee didn't know what he was doing at all. This kind of marking is all throughout my yard after not being stained like this. The owner himself called me about this, without me having to say a word, which I think is amazing! I really appreciate Ken for taking this opportunity to take care of our yard and making it right. I look forward to future business with Ken!

Ken was absolutely amazing when he came out to take a look at our yard prior to starting our fertilizer/weed control service. He made sure to go over every single detail, what to expect, and asked what I was wanting out of this service. He also made sure my irrigation system was set up properly to give us the best outcome. I asked a lot of questions and he was so helpful. They made the whole process very smooth. He also fixed a few issues that we had with our irrigation system right away, which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend Lone Star Lawn if you are looking for someone that knows the business. Thank you again!

I signed up for pest control service, he showed up once then nothing for months. I reached out after 4 months and he said he forgot to add me to his schedule, then no-showed again. I moved on.

First off... I apologize that you were missed and we did lose a few of our customers on the pest side. We had a transition in our business when we formed our LLC. Switching from an individual to an LLC cancelled my pest business license with the state. It took us 4 months to get that side operational again. I did drop the ball after you contacted me again and that is completely on me , I own that 100%. We hate to lose any customer due to us making a mistake. Should you decide to give us another opportunity you will receive the the service that the other reviews show our company to be. Thank you for your honesty because we like to earn our reviews, Ken.

If you’re trying to get your yard back in shape for the spring, I highly recommend Lone Star Lawn and Landscapes. The pre-emergent weed spray and fertilizer they use really helps keep our yard looking nice! Our neighbor has lots of weeds, so I was worried that their weeds would spread into our yard. But the weed spray really keeps them at bay and makes a big difference! You can actually tell where the yard spray stops on our side of the property line because the weeds stop too! Lone Star Lawn and Landscape is professional and affordable too.

I used a National chain yard and fertilizing company for over six years and was never completely satisfied with the looks of my yard.
