We had our quarterly pest control spraying by Steron Nichols. Steron is our requested regular sprayer. He has a great personality and makes you feel comfortable when he explains things to you.

The technician Steron, always does a great job but the office staff has to step it up. I was scheduled for service last Friday at 9 am, at 10:30 am I had to call to find out that the schedule had been changed to this Thursday and no one had called me. My rating is for the office staff.

Last year I used Volunteer Rid A Pest and Levi was fantastic. He came out in March and sprayed for wasps and did a fantastic job so I called the company again this year. I spoke to Megan and she quoted me $135 for an initial treatment to cover wasps, bees, roaches, mice, ants, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and on and on. After some friction, misunderstanding and confusion with Elizabeth, I contacted the company in Messenger and a representative got me in touch with manager Whitney. Whitney came out and was very thorough and sprayed, put down roach and mice bait and sprayed the bushes and grounds. What I was most pleased with, was that after the confusion, the manager Whitney offered to honor the price I was quoted, service that was quoted, and came out to do the service himself. He wanted to make sure I was satisfied. They are a good honest fair company and they made things right. I'm pleased. Years later I'm updating my review because I received a cancellation letter from them. Our house has had a very bad wasp problem and usually they had to come out 2 or 3 times per quarter. I just live in an area surrounded by woods, trees and fields and I have a porch, patio, decks. Bees were hard to get. They always came out to re-spray when I needed and to my shock I received a letter yesterday that they were canceling me. I didn't know why. It was like a slap in the face. I can only guess they don't like retreating when problems persist. I'm in shock. I guess this company just drops you if they want. Today I went outside looking around my deck and noticed a bee hive under the railing to my deck. I knew the bees were coming from somewhere. Although they already sent me a cancellation letter, I tried to call them to tell them I found where the bees were coming from but there was no answer. This company already canceled me after having to come out 3 x during some quarters. I just happened to find the source, the bees nest, under my deck railing next to my fence and on my porch. It's a shame this wasn't found before they canceled me. I got bee spray out and sprayed it myself today in the rain while they were dormant at the hive.

I cannot say enough good about this company! I have used them personally for about 2 years. Recently I had a family member that had a flea issue when a family member was on in home Hospice . I called in Volunteer Rid a Pest to do a treatment. They worked us into their schedule the next day. When they got there and treated the home, I asked the man when he finished what we owed him. He said NO CHARGE! He said our family had been through enough. Now what???? I cried! The kindness shown to our family was priceless! I tell everyone to use them! Thank you for much for your accommodations and actual human kindness! You are a top notch company ! Thank you!

Our service rep (Dennis) is very thorough. He is friendly and always a pleasure to work with. I like that they still treat inside and outside.

We had just started general bug control service a couple months ago. I began having problems with stink bugs entering the house. I phoned them and within a couple hours Trevor was here respraying the house. Everyone I dealt with was very kind and courteous!

One month ago, our backyard was unusable due to mosquitoes. After just a few weeks of using Volunteer Rid a Pest, I’m enjoying our property with no fear of bites! Paul is a kind, thorough technician who we will definitely be requesting in the future! Two weeks after his initial visit, we saw a few mosquitoes (only 3 or 4 compared to the hundreds that were present before) and he came back the next business day to retreat the property. Thank you for helping us Paul and Volunteer Rid a Pest!! Also, their price and customer service are top tier as well.

We have been with Volunteer Rid a Pest since they had bought out Pest Away due to the owners retiring. Pest Away was great. We have had several different technicians come out and every time we have had to have them come back before our quarterly visit. Clinton was sent out to us today and did an excellent job. He went above and beyond to take care of our spider and insect problem. He knocked down bee hives and spider webs that were around the house. Very Friendly guy and I will be requesting him for our quarterly visits from now on. I would recommend him 100%. I also like dealing with Elizabeth in the office. She is always attentive and able to fit us in when needed.

Very nice and professional office staff. Megan was able to work with my schedule and get me a very prompt appointment. My assigned tech, Colby, showed up to my home a little early which is refreshing. Let me just say, Colby is a total smoke show. Imagine my delight that for once an attractive workman show up at my home, not only on time but not a butt crack or a beer gut in sight. I got a Magic Mike cast extra who apparently kills bugs as a side job. I immediately regretted not putting on my best dress and soft music. Instead I look like a lumber Jane better suited for deep woods off grid living. After I put my eyes back in my head and picked my jaw up off the floor, I could appreciate what a thorough job he was doing on the inside of my home. How does one man make blue booties look like a fashion statement? I asked myself these questions and more as I followed him room to room hoping his shoulder might accidentally brush mine. Thankfully it didn't because I might have burst into flames. When he looked at me with those piercing blue eyes I must of had a mini stroke because the next thing I know, 90 minutes have passed and I desperately needed a drink of water. The service worked as I no longer see any of the bugs for which he treated my home. He was polite and courteous as he didn't even mention when he slipped in a puddle of drool I must have left behind from staring at him. I do intent to use him for any other needs I may have in the future.

Chase treated our house for ants last week and I want to give him a special shout out. He was so very polite, prompt, informative and thorough. Felt an instant connection to this fella! The entire company as a whole gets a full 5-star, 2 thumbs-up from us and would highly recommend. Keep up the good work! 👍

I love that you can get a 3 month plan and they will come out every 3 months and spray and if you see a bug they come back out for free! I got the mosquito guard, flea and ticks for my doggo and I'm super excited!

Great job yesterday by Tanner and his group! They did an excellent job making improvements under house. Hard workers, too!
