Originally wrote a review when I first use then 3 years ago on my brand new built house things were good nice techs very professional company but then they got bought out but a large company who has a few companies and it shows tried then with the hope it wouldn't change but it did they dont care the service was horrible my original agreement was quarterly treatments which was inside and out when new owners took over they would always say gonna spray outside if yiu want inside you have to let then know RIDICULOUS! so had a problem with 2 techs on separate occasions so called got a manager he gave me this speech that I was right and said he would text me his business card so next time any tech gives me a hard time to show them his card so of course git no tech so bottom line I will be changing this company don't use them and read alot of other texts you will see similar texts about one they git taken over it went down hill so in my opinion and apparently alot of others dont use then plenty other companies out the there

Just had my quarterly pest control spray inside and outside my home. The serviceman, Rodney Thomas, was great. Very thorough. Very professional but also personable. Been with Stand for almost 10 years. He has been the best!

We had our termite inspection and warranty extension done last week - our Technician Chris Whitt was excellent; he called before arriving and before he started, he fully explained what was being performed and the areas that he would be working. The job was completed in a timely manner and everything was done exactly as explained. Chris was professional and a pleasure to speak with - thank you Strand for continued great customer service!

Get out while you can strand under new ownership never made an appointment claimed they came to my house when I was not home did not come inside my house yet I keep getting past due bill for 154 bucks they never preformed any work including an inspection inside my house no work done and past due bill every week tried several times to fire them but they keep insisting I owe them money when they never made an appointment with me and never entered my home their service manager Dennis was a joke I reported them twice to the bbb but strand refuses to answer the complaint stay away from the new strand termite and pest control unless you want to spend your evenings after work fighting with them I’m contacting a lawyer next what a disappointment after 3 years of their service.Ok 10/28/2025 called billing department insisted strand cancelled my contract and stopped sending me collection threat’s the operator said no and insisted they made an appointment with me so when I started getting aggravated strand billing representative started yelling over my yelling so I hung up and called back next operator was calm I said cancel my contract because your billing me for work that was not done and she agreed and said she would send me an email confirmation well day 2 and no email and no communication at all .i will wait another day and let you know how it went.

A tech came to perform an annual inspection. No one was home. However, this tech wrote on the ticket that he walked around the house and did the inspection. Half of the house is surrounded by a locked fence. I was billed $200. I complained the issue to the office. They sent another tech, who walked into a bedroom on the first floor and stayed there for 5 minutes talking to me. He left and reported that the inspection was done. I got another invoice for $200. What’s in the world! Where are your moral and work ethic?

Have been with Strand Termite & Pest for 11 years with prompt and timely service over the last 10 years. Since Anticimex has taken over the timely service has ended. I have always scheduled my appointments quarterly for the year. Tech always came on time. Since Anticimex has taken over, tech shows up during a 3-hour window. Why could a company come on time for years and now needs a 3-hour window. I have things to do besides wait 3 hours for someone to show up. Highly disappointed with the new takeover. Going to loose a long-time customer

I used to love strand and gave it 5 stars but since they sold out to Anticimex, it’s been a disaster. Scheduling is a nightmare, they will schedule their own time in advance and not even tell you when it is, they’ll spray your exterior if you aren’t home and then you have to reschedule to get the interior….you can’t just show up to a house, spray it and then invoice someone without them approving it- that’s a scam. This last service they sent 2 technicians out (unbeknownst to the technicians they were double booked, but then the first one had to come back anyways later that day because he said he didn’t have the ticket for the termite bond). I have historically requested the same technician because having different people in and out of my house is unsettling and was told since selling out that wasn’t an option anymore. They hiked prices up and didn’t tell me until I asked about it, then said they could do a lesser increase since I was a previous customer…don’t you think you should tell people before? My last frustration was that on my last confirmation email, there was a number listed to text or call- I texted, no response for days. I called, it said the number was out of service. How do you not proofread communication to make sure all info is accurate? The technicians Kenny and Michael are phenomenal but the front office staff is an absolute disaster and is infuriating.

Company has been bought out, plain and simple. Make sure you read the fine print on their new contracts before deciding to choose this company. I found it disagreeable to my needs and unreasonable for the cost. First, they auto-charged me a renewal fee for a service they were no longer offering. Second, they sent out a "tech" to sell me on bait stations that weren't actually going to mine after spending $500 initially with a monthly charge on a new service contract. Remember, I'm a repeat customer, or at least I'm supposed to be. When I called to ask why I was charged a renewal fee for a service that was no longer offered, all I received was confused responses. Although it brought to light something they shouldn't be doing, I got my refund in mail two weeks later. Moved onto a local business that's going to care about the community.
After being a customer of almost 20 years... I canceled my services with them. New ownership has ruined a great company. They lost some good employees as well. I've always had the same technician and they said they would not schedule I would start getting random techs. Instead of a particular time, they started scheduling 3 hour blocks like the cable company very inconvenient.

I have been using Strand for three years now. In the past I've always received reminders from the company that it was time for my yearly termite inspection. They would come out look around and treat the house as to not have issues. This year I didn't receive anything so I called to make the appointment. I asked the lady on the phone how much it was going to cost. She said $175. I thought ok, same as last year. When the technician came out (he was very polite and professional) he stated they no longer spray for yearly inspections. $175 for someone to just come look around at my baseboards. This company is no longer the same. Time I take my business elsewhere. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
For YEARS, this company got 5 stars from us. Their customer service could not be beat and prices were reasonable. They made the decision to join up with this new company and it is TERRIBLE. They charged me twice, once for a property I no longer own and they never serviced. I moved to a new house and they want to charge me $199 to continue my services with them. Plus raise the price!! Imagine paying a company to continue paying them for service. I feel bad for Strand. This new company is going to run them into the ground. Onto better for me.
This company used to be phenomenal before this recent change has happened. The customer service is trash!! They wanna leave you messages giving you a day or two that they’re coming in with an automated message. This is not the way the real world works. People work and have plans and have children. Continue this poor customer service and you won’t have a business. Take a few tips from the previous owners they need to teach you guys good customer service.
This company has been bought out and the customer service really sucks first of all they send somebody out to my house. No phone call. No nothing saying I had an appointment. I was on my way out. The told him they needed to make another appointment because they need to let me know when they’re coming out schedule the appointment. The guy comes out. Oh we don’t spray anymore for $150. We just come and look around your house not notified about that Pay the guy the money to do the inspection then I get an email that I’m in collections cause I’m 30 days past due called him up and told him I gave him my credit card information. Why am I 30 days past due? Oh it looks like he just threw it up here and it wasn’t processed no apology no sorry this is the worst company now it used to be great. It is bad
Customer service has left this business. Since the new big corporation bought Strand, Customer service seems to be on the back burner. Technicians have to return to respray. If you call the office you get automation service until you click enough numbers. Been doubled billed for service, Now they want you to sit around and wait for 3 hours for their techs to show up. (I thought I was calling a pest control company not a cable company) And now new customers are being charged more than double than the old ones...At the least the former owners can be happy with the mega bucks they made from the sale. I guess it's time I find a new pest control company
