Regarding Justin's service this morning: He arrived for my yearly service. He was timely, courteous, and thorough. He inspected what I thought to be termites but explained that it was the sign of Carpenter Bees. He found the entry holes enabling me to treat them immediately. I really appreciated his service. He should receive double bonus. Thank you, Justin!

The guy was here for seven minutes and sat in my driveway longer. He didn't get the spider webs or anything just sprayed and I pay 95 for that I'm thinking about cancelling.

We have had pest control services and termite services with them for 2.5 years since we purchased our home. We are now in the process of selling our beautiful house. We are required to get a termite inspection letter in order to finish the sale. We asked APC to come out and do the inspection. The inspector - Levi - refused to sign off on an approval letter for the sale as there was moisture in the crawl space. We called over a local plumbing service to review this and they said APC was way out of bounds to be giving plumbing orders and directives during termite inspections. Disappointed as we have had termite services for two years and then they tell us our house isn’t passing inspection. A headache for no reason and a misdiagnosis on the part of Aiken Pest Control. Unhappy customer.

The reason I don't recommend them is because they came to my apartment during my children's school holidays, and because of that, my apartment will have dirty dishes, toys scattered, etc., since I have three children of different ages. The man was very intrusive. He told me to clean the dirty dishes right after I gave my children breakfast. He made a report at the office that was detrimental to me. I didn't respond because I don't speak much English.

Josh did not notify me that he was conducting my termite inspection. I was home at the time and would have appreciated being given the opportunity to speak with him. Because of what I describe as his inability to communicate effectively, I must give him a low score. I may be looking into a different pest control company as a result. This is not the company of the past. It’s a shame.

Aiken Pest control is a sham, if I could give you a -0 I most definitely would!! After they went up on the service last year without telling their customers and I wrote a bad review, a young lady called me and we had an understanding conversation! I had a fire last August and stopped my mosquito control service, after moving back in my home in May I called to start service again and the price has gone up to $80 a month from $60 or $65!! I also have termite control service with them, they said that they came out to inspect my home last year BUT like I said I haven’t been in my home since August 4th due to the fire, and they DIDN’T come prior to August, therefore there was NO WAY that someone came out last year, AND THEY GOT PAID FOR IT BECAUSE IT COMES OUT OF MY ESCROW!! Aiken Pest Control YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!! I received a call today 7/15/24 from the person that called me before about my review…of course I’m not taking it down nor will I change it. You didn’t come in to do the termite inspection last year and that’s the bottom line (but you did receive your payment!!) She said that they don’t have to call me to make an appointment, they can come out at anytime, if I’m not home they’re just do the outside (there’s no outside to do but the little green thing that they have outside, because I’m on a slab!!) if I want the inside done then I WOULD HAVE TO CALL THEM TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! They’ve been calling me in the past, to let me know that it was time to do the inspection and when would be a good time for them to come out. Get it together Aiken Pest Control, you are despicable and a sham!!

today at about 7:30 AM i observed a vehicle B1084 on Richland Ave. following to close to several vehicles, driving above the posted speed limit in a 25 mile zone and a 35 mile zone. It was raining, and the vehicle should have been driving below the speed because conditions were right for hydro-planing. I am retired but was a certified CDL instructor prior. With the cost of insuring your vehicles I know an accident would cause rates to rise. Please review safe driving with all.
Paid 99.00 for the initial inspection and canceled soon after and went with another company due no show twice. Poor customer service. They came out 4 months later after canceling and have billed me for services not authorized and now have turned it over to a collection agency for payment of services not authorized. So I paid them their 79.00 for nothing. Don’t recommend unless you want to pay for something not asked!!!! BEWARE

SCAM!!! Beware!! We used this company for years as far as control of mice, bugs, spiders, etc. we were on a plan where they came out every three months and checked our home. Everything was fine with that. However, we sold our home and had to have a termite inspection for closing. An employee, Justin came out told us we had termites, but that he could sell me a termite plan for $999 to get rid of the termites. I told him we’ve never had termites or any problems, due to the way the house was built. My husband ask him to come back the next day and show him where the termites were. He could not show him a trail or one termite..The only thing underneath the house was a box that mice had chewed and we knew at times we had mice under there. Aiken pest was the one that put mice traps under there. I called Justin’s boss, Willie, and ask him to come out. He said he had been ill and could not come. We ended up calling two separate qualified inspectors and they found nothing! This was a scam!! It caused us a lot of grief and was completely unprofessional on their part . After all of the years with them we were totally disappointed and surprised, but Justin made it very clear the day he was out there that he could sell me a treatment for 999.00 ....very very disappointed in this company!!

As a long-time client, you have shown continuing confidence in us over the years and depended on our services to protect your home. We want you to know that we have very much appreciated that confidence.<br><br>We are refunding the full inspection report fee. However, we are obligated by the SC Dept. of Pesticide Regulation to maintain a report on your property in our files should it be required for any reason in the future.<br><br>Aiken Pest Control is a company that prides itself on the integrity of our team members and the training we provide them. Because of that training, they are extremely knowledgeable and well-equipped to identify signs of infestation and to offer the very best recommendations for termite treatment.<br><br>Since you have questioned the integrity of our service in your review, we feel we owe it to our current and future customers who may see this review to provide a detailed account of the inspection. We also want to clarify for you why our licensed technician proceeded as he did and why we stand behind his recommendation.<br><br>When selling a home, an inspection is required. This is done with a Wood Infestation Report (WIR). The technician is required to look for very specific signs of active or past infestation from any and all wood destroying organisms, including termites.<br><br>The inspection report must follow SC Dept. of Pesticide Regulation requirements, guidelines and protocols. We are required to make a record of the inspection results, and in this case, we also documented the findings with digital images (pictures). The technician that performed your inspection has 10 years of experience doing this and has also completed many hours of additional technical training for WIR reporting and wood destroying organism damage.<br><br>At your home, our technician thoroughly inspected the home and looked for any sign of insect activity or infestation, as well as moisture. In one corner of the crawl space, he found evidence of a termite tunnel behind, and in, a box. While no active termites were visible in the area, no sign of treatment requires the infestation to be noted as active. After the inspection, he reported his findings to you and showed you the pictures. He then offered information about treatment options and pricing – acknowledging that, as always, it would be the customer’s choice to treat or not treat. The technician was asked to return two days later. He did, showing your husband the affected area in the crawl space, as well as the pictures.<br>We cannot comment on why other inspectors you brought in did not discover what our technician did.<br><br>We'd like you to know, however, that Aiken Pest Control can only inspect for wood destroying organisms and, if found, recommend corrective measures.
