Middle Creek Property Maintenance

It seems that Middle Creek does excellent services for independent jobs, per many of these reviews. I'm glad people have had good experiences. I can only write as to my experience in having Middle Creek Service our HOA, which has unfortunately been very disappointing. There is a huge lack of consideration to the people in the neighborhoods where they work. They do not cut machinery when pedestrians are nearby, leave loud machinery on right outside your doors even when not operating it, and generally make the environment unsafe for pedestrians, children and pets. I once stepped outside my front door to talk to my neighbor, and had my dog on a leash in the front yard. An individual then came speeding by on a huge piece of equipment and all of us had to jump back onto our porches. No attempt made to slow down or give us space. Last night during snow removal (if you can call it that?) they nearly backed up into a woman trying to walk her dog across the street. She was trying to give them a wide berth and they nearly backed up into her and the dog, no attempt to check or signal if there were people. To say nothing of the quality of the 'snow removal' service. I understand that when working with an HOA you are contracted for specific services. However it leaves a lot to be desired when every surrounding neighborhood is cleared of snow and plowed in a timely fashion, but meanwhile we are unable to walk our dogs and the streets/sidewalk are a mess. Myself and neighbors are baffled that all other local neighborhoods and complexes had their roads and sidewalks done by Sunday evening/early Monday, but Middle Creek was unable to arrive until Monday evening and continued to work well into Tuesday. I do not want anyone out in unsafe weather, yet if your job is snow removal, it leaves a lot to be desired if you are not able to remove said snow - and clearly other companies are. Yes, provide the services requested by the HOA. But do them well, don't do them sloppily, do them in a timely fashion and please be considerate and conduct yourself safely in the neighborhoods where you work. Meanwhile I cannot safely drive down the street due to a giant unplowed snowbank leaving me incapable of seeing oncoming traffic.

Middle Creek has taken our beautiful community full of lovely landscaping and turned it into a shabby looking mess. They trim shrubs to bare sticks, and shape every shrub into balls with 30” hedge trimmers. Flowering shrubs are cut to within an inch of their lives so they don’t flower the next spring. They use string trimmers to cut front yards. Their attitude is get it done fast. They are unresponsive. Please think twice when considering their services. Yes we are an HOA. However, none of the review is about the services agreed upon. It is about THE QUALITY OF YOUR WORK. Train your people the correct way to do things, not the fastest.

The Middle Creek crew, consisting of Alana. Hannah, Naomi, Ruth, and Landon did an outstanding job of leaf removal for us. We have numerous large trees that seemed to drop their leaves all at once, so it was a big job. They worked efficiently and effectively; our yard was beautiful after they were here. Middle Creek has been servicing The Crossings at Rocky Spring for 1 season and my wife and I are quite pleased with the quality of the work. Mowing, edging, mulching, pruning, and clean-up are done well. They work well as a team and are considerate to residents. We would highly recommend them. I am a homeowner in the Rockledge community in Palmyra, PA. I appreciate the excellent work your crew is doing. I have spoken to them from time to time to say thank you and express my appreciation. In the years I have lived here the property has never looked better. Yesterday morning while they were cleaning up leaves, I took some hot chocolate out to them. Krista stopped and spoke with me and graciously accepted my gift. Various crews worked around my home throughout the day until the project was complete. Thank you!

Kara and her coworkers did an awesome job at our Rockledge townhouse today. They worked diligently to clean up all the fallen leaves on the lawn and in the flower beds. Great job ladies !

I’m preparing for our Thanksgiving Family gathering and as I look out the window I see the ladies from Middle Creek move into our area. They taking out the debris from what was beautiful flower beds, preparing for another winter. They are so particular and careful moving anything that could be damaged and putting it all back where they were. I took some treats to them to show how we all appreciate what they do, always cheerful and courteous. I spoke with MaryBeth, Naomi, Amanda, Rosanne and Alexis, they’re back to work now following an efficient pathway leaving a very clean lovely garden setting for Spring. Middle Creek Property Maintenance does an outstanding job on all aspects of the work they perform maintaining our property. Throughout the summer when they mow and edge, in the spring when they mulch and in the winter when they do our fall cleanup. The work is always to high standards and I receive my positive comments from neighbors about the appearance of my yard. I would like to recognize Emily, Regina, and Lisa the crew who mows my yard each week. They do a beautiful job and always take the time to do it right. Middle Creek Property Maintenance continues to do an outstanding job maintaining my property. Their work is always of the highest quality, with great attention to the all the aspects that keep my yard looking great. They do such a good job that two of my neighbors have switched to using them and others have asked me who I use. I also receive many compliments from my neighbors on how nice my yard always looks. I want to recognize Katrina and Lisa who mow my yard each week. They leave my yard looking neat and well trimmed. Best crew of the bunch. I have been around many landscape maintenance companies. Many of them are always looking for ways to cut corners because of their aggressive work schedule. I must say, Middle Creek goes well above and beyond the typical “Mow and Blow” that other companies do. I have observed their systematical operation from start to finish many times. Each person has a specific task to ensure that the job is done right and is esthetically pleasing to the eye as well as being properly cleaned up before they leave. These four women do such a good job, I asked them for their names so I could mention them in this review. Thank you to Cheryl, Miriam, Katrina and Emily for your dedication to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend.

JUNE 21 UPDATE: IF A MINUS 10 RATING WAS AVAILABLE, THIS PLACE DESERVES IT! THREE TIMES I HAD TO INFORM THESE "GIRLS" NOT TO REMOVE TREATMENT GRANULES THAT EXTERMINATOR PLACED. IT COST OVER $300.00 FOR THE TREATMENT AND THESE PEOPLE STILL CONTINUE TO REMOVE! ONCE AGAIN, DIRT BLOWN ALL OVER THE PATIOS AND WALKS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD TO PROPERTY! PATHETIC! I am in the development who contracted with your service, otherwise would definitely NOT use! CLEAN UP THE GRASS YOU BLOW ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!! PATHETIC!! This service deserves a negative 10! They damaged my security lights/cameras, are incredibly rude and do not clean up after mowing. Every single time they have been in our development, grass is laying on the patios and walkways. The " women and young girls" they have working are extremely rude. Napping seems to be their specialty as you will find them laying around on the property on their sweatshirts laid out on the grass! The snow removal is PATHETIC. They show up hours after a storm and after residents clear their own driveways and walks! Our development contracted with them...biggest waste of funding for an incompetent company! Beware of this service...unless you enjoy paying for services they obviously do not complete!

Our development used them and very glad to say they are no longer going to be doing our development. One of the worst firms I have seen....and I've seen a lot of them. Would never recommend them.

I've been using this company for ~5 years and they have been able to do what none of the previous ones that I used were able to do, and that is the weed control has been kept in check. If I ever have any concerns the owner calls me back in a very timely manner to give me his professional advice on how to handle any issues. I've recommended this company in the past and will continue to do so.
