Do not do business with this company after contract up will bill you month to month without your permission never contacts ya to confirm you want their services Will bill you bank and not refund money when cancel ahead of time

Aptive came to our door one day. They talked to my husband, but DID NOT tell him how much every time they came out it would be the same whether they did all services or one service that day. They automatically put us on the higher package deal and I asked how we could change to a lower amount and he gave me their website, but I found nothing about switching. Then, we were charged for services not rendered 2x for they never showed up for those days. And never rescheduled those 2x they were to spray. That is when we decided to cancel our services. We thought this place was good, did get rid of ants, not many mosquitoes and spiders, but i could not justify paying on services they did not do. My husband called and in order to cancel altogether they charge $199, which we were never told. So the rep was supposed to bill us, but ended up taking from husbands debit card. I will not do business with liars and services I do not get, but charged for. We lost approximately $380 for the two times they were to spray and the 199 plus when they did come it wasn't everything they were supposed to do told by the salesman. Very displeased how handled.

DON'T DO IT! If I could give zero stars I would. They have treated for bugs TWICE in the middle of winter, It is snowing and windchills are below zero. NOT A BUG WITHIN A 1000 MILES. No notification until after they have done their treatment and raped my bank account. They refuse to cancel the service without a $200 fee. Bait and switch tactics used to get me as a customer and now I have no redress until my bank card expires.

I've been a client since June 2024, but I've been very sick and pest control is not on my list of "top priorities" - if you know what I mean. Aptive just sprayed my house today, and I decided I no longer wanted their service. I have other issues that I need to deal with!!! I promptly paid the bill and emailed their customer service address and requested future services be cancelled. That email bounced and I found a "notices" email address, so I sent another copy to that address email instead. This email bounced again, so I was presented a 1-800 # to call. I had my son call the # because I'm current in the hospital and clearly an offshore team answered and picked up and said my service couldn't be cancelled unless they were called from the phone number on file. They also said my son was not authorized to cancel unless I had "power of attorney"... Seriously? I need to provide proof of power of attorney to cancel a pest control service??!! This is ridiculous. My son got upset and the was forwarded to another person. Her name was Rebecca. Rebecca asked my son for the phone # on file and said i did not have to call from the # on file - so perhaps some training needs to be completed with the customer support staff. She would not allow my son to cancel for me so he had to hold the phone in front of me and I provided verbal approval for him to speak on my behalf. My son explained we wanted to cancel. I feel like I shouldnt have to provide an answer as to why. It should be my decision - plain and simple. However, I had to endure 15 mins of follow up questions on if the price was too high, if the service wasn't good enough, etc etc. It made me feel very awkward and the nurses in the room were appalled at what they heard as the exchange was on speaker phone. My son must have said "no thank you, please cancel".. at least 20 times. Finally Rebecca agreed and said the account would be cancelled. My son asked for an email confirmation the services were actually cancelled. They said I would get something to my email in 30 minutes. I did finally get the email, but it was over an hour later. I understand wanting to retain customers and offering discounts, but this was completely over the top and was very close to harassment. I hope Management follows up and makes adjustments to their business model.

Justin sent a text he would be at the house in 25 minutes. He drove in the driveway & then proceeded to leave & went to the house next door. I texted him to see what was going on. When he did not answer, I walked next door to find out why he was skipping us. First he said he was running late, then he said our house was not next but the neighbors was. Then he asked if I wanted him to treat our house to which I said yes. He drove back was here just a few minutes & said he was done. I asked what he did. He said he did all around the house. I said the young man before also did the yard out to the barn. He tried to load info on when it was saying warm weather treatment was different. He asked where the barn was. I told him if he did the back of the house he would have seen it. He showed me Pic & said it was the back of the house but it was the garage side. We have never had such poor service! Was very disappointed in Aptive today. Please don’t send Justin again…

I wanted to cancel the appointment and the guy basically said tough luck and continued to do the service. I also have been unable to figure out how to cancel this as well. They don’t make it easy.

Admittedly, we have a rather unique house, with multiple stories and a quirky footprint, but the "salesmen" saw all of that when they stopped by unannounced and (against my better judgement) succeeded in signing us up. They promised that they would treat the entire perimeter of the house (all levels), our multiple decks, and expansive yard would all be treated, and treat inside the house as we requested. First appointment lasted less than an hour, and it was clear from the supervisor that they sent out that he knew that they were in over their head. He said he would come out with the service tech on the first regular monthly visit (to make sure they understood the scope of the work) and request a termite inspection (NEITHER ever happened). The appointment the second month was even shorter, but we were told that someone would come out the next day to treat a hornet's nest that the tech didn't have the right equipment to treat, but that person never showed up or called (another day wasted, waiting for Aptive). The next month, someone showed up for 10 minutes, treated one small portion of the outside perimeter, without ever even informing us that he arrived (we were at the house the whole day - waiting for him - to give special instructions), and left without us ever knowing he was here (no sign of any spray, grandular treatment, etc). So, we cancelled our one year contract. With the cancellation penalty and the monthly payments we made, we paid Aptive $440+ for MAYBE two hours - TOTAL - of service. Their salesmen are very convincing, and I truly think that they don't want customers to stay with them, just sign the contract and collect the first payment(s) and cancellation fees when you cancel.

Twice I have asked for service and requested they come st 4-7 as it was offered. They came before anyone was home and they did not have me check and show where the issue were. I was told they would text 40 minutes before snd they didn’t. I was told they would come in snd treat my sons room and they didn’t

Booked two appointments and never received confirmation or service. Booked one yesterday for today, waited for hours, no one showed. Called back and tried again and no confirmation again and the agent just stopped talking when I asked for confirmation and hung up. What a joke

Sales person lies about terms of service Actual service people the "techs" what a joke We had a scheduled service all they did was come out and put a bug trap up in my back yard when we paid got a service inside and out lol Back to when I said the salesperson lied.told multiple times if we didn't like the service qe could cancel anytime. Ha that was a lie. Had to either pay to terminate our services or keep paying for the joke of them coming out and doing their service. 0 out of 5 stars. Better off going to you're local department store and buying your own bug spray and doing it yourself.
