Today Brian Parsons from Absolute Pest Control came out to my home to treat mice in the attic and garage. He also sprayed the perimeter of my home. He did an excellent job and made a few suggestions as to how the mice were likely gaining entry and what I could do to remedy the situation. Excellent work.

Nick did a super job of completing my latest treatment today for general pest control. I appreciate that I receive advanced notice prior to the arrival of the tech. Absolute Pest Control and its employees have always been very polite, both by phone and during treatment visits. Devin is very thorough in treating around the house and when I saw a spider in between visits once, I called and they came out that day to reapply. I would recommend APC to anyone who needs to fight creepy things inside or out...I use them for my landscaping plantings, soffit spiders and those spider mite webby thingys you walk through going in and out the door and for the scurrying mouse sounds I hear once in a while! All is clear... for now. :)

Brian came out and throughly inspected our basement for possible entry sites for mice, explained about the traps and will return in 3 months or sooner if we have any concerns. He also checked outside for entry sites and told us what to do about them. He was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the mice problem and we highly recommend this company and Brian.

Found a yellow jacket nest while cleaning the garage, called on Monday morning and they were out here Monday afternoon. Very professional. Brian did a fantastic job and explained everything thoroughly. It was a large nest into the wall. Couldn’t be happier with the prompt service, and not having to worry about it getting worse.

We were in desperate need for someone to come out ASAP to get rid of a yellow jacket nest, that was underneath our siding, and started to come through our basement. Let me just say, I am terrified of bees/wasps/hornets. And this was absolutely One of my worst nightmares come true. My husband tried to get rid of the problem himself, and even though I suggested to call pest control before they come into our house, he insisted he could get rid of them. Well, low and behold, they started coming through our basement. My husband claims he killed at least 100 of them in one day. (He is known to exaggerate, and I even told The service guy that lol.) but, there were definitely a lot that came through our house within one day. The following day, my husband gave in and told me to call a pest control company. Unfortunately, the one that was referred to me by a friend, was not able to come out for a day or two. Called a second company, didn’t get an answer, had to leave a voicemail, and they didn’t end up calling me back until way later that day. So, I got on Google, Searched for pest control in our area, and absolute pest control was one of the first ones to pop up. They were close to home, and had great reviews, so I gave them a call, and got an answer right away. I called them at 11 AM, and he told me they could have someone out between 2 PM to 3 PM that same day. And the best part, they were cheaper than the first company I called! So, I could get it done the same day, and for less? What a win! They were here right on the dot at 2 PM. (I was actually on my way home, and they had beat me here. I apologized up and down for being a few minutes late, they were very nice and very patient.) it was Bob Murray, And I believe his assistant was Nick? And thankfully, they were not afraid of my three dogs. They got right to work, quickly found where they were coming in from, taped it off, then went outside to spray And dust underneath the siding, And they did all of this within at least 20 minutes. It was so quick! They told us it would probably take about 5 days for them to fully go away, and if they didn’t, then they would come back out. Well, the good news is, they were all gone by the next day! What a relief! I would recommend this company 1000 times over. And I will definitely use them in the future, if I need to. They are dependable, quick, On time, Reasonably priced and very nice. Can’t thank you enough!

Brian came out to service my home for the first time and did a tremendous job of educating me on pest issues. He was super knowledgeable and seems to love what he does. I signed up for the year round pest control knowing that Brian can be requested as needed.

With the season changing we had an invasion of stink bugs! I used Absolute Pest Control for routine general insect control so I called and they had someone here the next day. Andrew was very thorough in his spraying. I'll be glad to see these pests disappear!

Called to compare to Terminix for mice because of the super high reviews and came away sort of stunned. Terminix in our old home sealed the house and set traps (glue and snap) and over time we had no mice. When I called Absolute Pest Control they said they don't do traps because they need to be checked too often. They only do poison through bait stations. We have a small child and I asked what if they pick up the bait and move it and the response was wishy washy. Seemed like they just hadn't had a problem with it (rather than a reasonable explanation for why it's not dangerous). I recall they said something like mice don't typically put this type of poison/bait in their cheeks and transport it, not very reassuring. They also made it almost seem like it was not worth trying to seal the house. That since mice can get in very small holes they will never be kept out. So in short for mice they do poison only and do not expect sealing the house to work. Very different than our experience with Terminix with a previous problem with mice. We will do traps (no poison) and the exclusion plan again on this home with Terminix for sure. Hopefully with Terminix we can keep up with it and expect not to have mice in our home in the future. Response to Absolute Pest Controls reply: I think that perhaps the possibility of poison inside the home being dangerous for my small child (3 month old who I'm sure will be crawling before I know it) wasn't explained very well. There is an important difference between mice not typically carrying something in their cheeks and it not being possible. I was told that the poisoned bait you provide was not typically something they carried in their cheeks. I do strongly believe the word used by your "office girl" was "typically". I would have happily paid extra for snap traps rather than poison for peace of mind. This option was not provided to me. In fact, it was explained as something you don't do because it is too labor intensive. While I understand that some houses present significant challenges, at times even insurmountable challenges, to being fully sealed, I came away with the impression that no house COULD be sealed. AND that the reason for continuous poison bait traps by your company was to thin the population in perpetuity in a way that is not labor intensive since the house would never be sealed anyway. Believe me I was shocked. Perhaps this was an unfortunate misrepresentation of your services that was provided to me. Unfortunately, as I have direct comparison to interactions with Terminix and expectations of certain services when it comes to mouse control I felt it necessary to disclose this in a review. I was particularly disappointed due to your stellar ratings history. Edit to star rating: changed from a 1 star review to a 3 star review due to explanation provided as a response to this review.

Really hard to get straight answers if you are a busy person. Office staff lacks patience and never picks up the phone first call. As I’ve used them over the years the office has just gotten harder to work with.

Absolute Pest and Brad were wonderful for our house in a densely wooded area...lots of creatures and they take care of them. Glad they suggested the yearly contract, saved us money and pest frustration! Would highly recommend them!
