I received a quote from Eco Lawn that clearly outlined what services they would provide, but even after that, they would not provide a full list of the products they use on lawns. As someone with pets and a garden, I was not comfortable with this lack of transparency and decided not to use their services. I would be cautious if considering them. Update: Yes, they provided me with one product when they listed EIGHT different times they would come and service. When I asked for the third time about what products they use, the owner responded, “When we service your property specific products are listed, including the rate and the amount. I’m happy to supply that information at the time. It’s not practical and would be impossible for me to know in advance each product we may use on your lawn.” Eco Lawn should know what products they use and customers should know what they are purchasing prior to paying them. Again, I would be cautious using their services if you are care about your children, pets, and/or garden.

Hi Brooke, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience receiving a lawn analysis from Ecolawn. I'm sorry you don't feel I was being transparent. You requested a label and I provided it. It's not practical - or required - that I send you labels on 'a full list of products we use on lawns' . See, here at Ecolawn, we service our clients properties based on their specific needs at the time the treatment is made, rather than a generic, one size fits all approach. I'm sorry if you feel that isn't being transparent and certainly agree, consumers SHOULD ask what their service providers are using and be cautious in considering them. As I mentioned, it appears we aren't an ideal match and I wish you all the best.

Very customer and service focused! I called the office knowing I was due for a service in the very near future but I had a request to speak to a lawn tech prior to the service. The office staffer "Dave" took the time to review my account, advised me that this day of my call a tech was scheduled. Dave stated that he would call the Tech and attempt to arrange a time I was available to meet prior to lawn service. My Lawn Tech, "Jason" did rearrange his schedule for our face to face to answer some of my questions. Jason was very patient, professional in his responses and informative in assuring that the lawn was in good shape, and what he was going to do to enhance this and future service. My initial call was not of any type of complaint, merely seeking professional advice for post drought care. Jason provided an in depth evaluation/education and recommendations on future watering and over-seeding. Jason also "talked up" other staffers/tech's of Eco Lawn. This company is truly committed to a high quality professional approach and execution of service. I highly recommend Eco Lawn, the equipment is clean, up to date, trucks are clean, and all of the staffers are professional in demeanor, appearance in uniform and despite the outside conditions, clearly present a pride in servicing and aftercare followup. And my lawn looks amazing despite whatever nature throws at it. I intend to be a very longtime happy customer.

Ron, Thank you for your 1 star review. I'm a little confused as there are 2 Ron Glavans in my system and neither have been active since 2021. Your review arrived at 3AM on 4/4/24. Maybe you had trouble sleeping and venting made it easier. <br><br>I checked the files on both and only one complained that grub protector didn't work. In reality, that problem came from an armyworm infestation that I couldn't treat because of a long-standing prior balance. It ultimately went to collections even after payment was promised. The challenge with the other Mr. Glavan came from a treatment made for beetle control. Mr. Glavan stated that he canceled service - which he did - AFTER the treatment had been made. That account went to collections and was ultimately paid. <br><br>I'm thankful for your review because it reminds me we're not for everybody. For example, if the most important thing to a client is a cheap price, other providers will be a better option. Clients who are interested in a truly healthy lawn, who follow our directions, listen to the expert advice, and treat us respectfully, will appreciate the value we bring. <br><br>It appears we aren't the right fit for you. After deciding that the service wasn’t meeting our standards we decided to cancel. The owner, Don showed up to our house and just waltzed into our backyard after we didn’t answer the front door to get our attention. I understand wanting to try and keep your customers after they want to cancel a subscription but trespassing on someone’s property and telling them that they’re in the wrong isn’t the way to do it.

Hired ECO lawn this year 2022 past my better judgement as they are very expensive. Had them out about 3 times. After the 3rd application my lawn was completely browned out and dead! I'm told that it was cinch bugs. So much for preventing that from happening. Then the guy shows up and wants to fertilize after I called and cancelled. Long story short my yard is completely dead, even when they were spraying I had crabgrass, weeds , yellow flowers. Called and told them I think someone put too much chemical one day on my lawn which killed it. There response, unfortunately that's just mother nature with the cinch bugs. Asked for a full refund for the 3 applications. Pfft! Totally unsatisfied with ECO

To specifically address your situation, we treated your lawn with two applications, early spring and late spring. These two applications included your lawn nutrients, pre-emergent and weed control. Your lawn was really starting to show signs of improvement with its color and the weed control taking effect from where it started off. When we attempted to come out for the next application in the early summer, the lawn was showing signs of drought stress due to lack of water, and you indicated that you were not going to water and requested we skip that application. This application that you chose to skip, against our recommendation, would have been your grub and insect control application. When you called back in over two months later about your lawn that was now browned out, we assessed that the lawn had a combination of chinch bug damage on top of the drought stress damage.<br><br>Beautiful lawns happen when there is a cooperative effort between you and Ecolawn. Your unwillingness to participate by refusing to follow directions or our recommendations has prevented a successful outcome.

Ahh where to start...Used Ecolawn lawn last couple seasons. Originally, they were responsive before they earned my business, however after that the communication was sub par...Long story short or maybe not...end of last year I called to cancel services for 2022 but one day in March of 2022 they show up to fertilize(didn't surprise me since the communication is terrible). I said to myself okay I will have them requote for just the front area of my yard since I was doing a renovation in the back. So I sent and email to Ecolawn and they responded by saying they were canceling my service?? Oh now they want to cancel my service... But that's not what I asked for I asked them to requote just the front area, again COMMUNICTION sucked. So they sent me the bill for the $79 even though I called end of last season to cancel, one because the price is too high, secondly because again I was doing some renovations in the back and was going to just do the front myself. They did start calling me to pay that bill (Oh look they want to talk now) and emailing in which I did not respond, honestly because I was aggravated by the whole situation. They sent me to collections over $79. Comical. Hope it was worth the bad review!

Had them for a year my yard was still thin and browning and owner only wanted to blame me for not watering enough. I have a sprinkler system that runs plenty of water .

Jared, Thank you for your review and I'm sorry you weren't pleased with the results on your lawn. You mat remember when initially contacting me, I suggested doing a total kill on your existing lawn as proposed by the contractor we suggested. You chose a different lower priced contractor who omitted that important step. While the lower price may have sounded appealing, it let the weeds present in your original lawn easily germinate in the new lawn. Weeds will persist in any newlt planted lawn because all the cultivating, fertilizing and watering are designed to make things grow. Having a new lawn is a process that takes 2-3 years.
