Drew and Austin did a quarterly maintenance service call today. They also sprayed for carpenter bees that are beginning to emerge, knocked down spiderwebs and took down a wasps nest! They were professional and personable, as well!

Damien did a great job and was very friendly. If I were giving stars for him I would leave 5 stars. But I would leave no stars for Moxie because of questionable sales techniques and overall high prices. Overall price for the year is a bit over $800! Sales rep misrepresented overall cost. Please do what I did not do before signing . . . read the fine print! Talked on telephone and with agent and had it reduced slightly.

Had a complimentary attic inspection and the guy tried telling me that I don't have enough insulation in the attic and am starting to get condensation in the attic. He recommended adding 6 inches of insulation costing $6k! Got a couple other opinions from actual insulation companies and was told my insulation is fine and that there is absolutely no condensation in the attic. Moxie lied and just wanted to get business that was WAY overpriced. Stay away from Moxie for any insulation services as they will try to swindle you into something you don't need!

Terrible company. They claim they were at my house yesterday, I have 5 security cameras, and there were 5 people home. No person or camera saw them. My cameras catch every move my dog makes... No texts or calls were received at the time services were supposedly provided. Their prior 2 treatments were not effective. Their "account manager" and claims I have to pay a cancellation fee when their services have been ineffective and they lied about being on my property. Do not fall for their sales pitch.

Unable to rate her work cause I was not home. Had no idea you's were even coming cause I just left for the evening. Nobody called prior to set up an appointment time or date when you's were even thinking about coming. It would be nice to know these things so I can make time to be here. Just glad our watch dog is no longer with us, because this type of service yesterday would have been a bad situation for your employee.

Unethical Practices and Poor Service I must warn others about Moxie Pets. Their service is fundamentally broken, plagued with constant bugs that make it unreliable. Most concerningly, they charged my card without authorization and their customer service was unhelpful when I complained. When I tried to cancel, I was told customer satisfaction isn't guaranteed, and I discovered I would be charged a cancellation fee for a service that doesn't work properly. Essentially, I'm being held hostage by fees to continue paying for a defective product. This company prioritizes enforcing contracts over providing functional service. Avoid Moxie Pets to save both your money and your patience.

The salesman said that I was able to get my gazebo sprayed for Carpenter Bees, that was the reason for me to sign up with this company. A few hours later, the man came out to spray and said that he couldn’t do it by law, because the chemical was too strong and would run into the pool. He also stated that the salesman sometimes misrepresent that. I want to Cancel because of the misrepresentation and they have the nerve to want to Charge me $299 Cancellation fee! I don’t Recommend this Company at all!

The door to door model is a scam. They send a young guy around on a hoover board to lie that you are signing up for a one time service when in reality it is a 1 year contract that they charge 80% to cancel. Beware the service is not as described, not effective and the one service that was performed was not what was told it would be. Call a reputable company instead of falling prey to the door to door scam that we did.

I felt deceived by the “contract”. It seemed very dishonest to represent the service as a one time discounted fee only to later be told I signed a contract and cancelation penalty was 80% of the service remaining in the contract. Having a lengthy contract on an iPad, that likely no one reads, and having the sales representative explain the service differently doesn’t seem like an accident. I would not recommend doing business with a company that needs to use these tactics to attempt to gain customers.

I signed with Moxie Pest Control in May 2025 under the promise of preventative services that would reduce pest activity by disrupting insect cycles. Four months later, after two treatments and plenty of time for results, there has been no improvement: mosquitoes continue to bite my child daily, and silverfish and spiders remain indoors, around the house, and everywhere else. I filed a mailed formal complaint in mid-August as required by their own contract. After nearly two weeks, Moxie’s only response was to offer more of the same treatment that had already failed. When I exercised my contractual right to terminate, they ignored it and insisted they were owed additional fees despite the material failure of pest control to date. I gave the benefit of the doubt to a door-to-door service; learn from my mistake. Moxie relies on long-term contracts and refuses to recognize when their services don’t work. I do not recommend signing with them unless you are prepared to pay for non-effective treatments and promises for additional non-effective treatments. EDIT: Their response is exactly what my complaint is about. The attempt is to convey the issue as me misunderstanding the contract where they give themselves unlimited reapplications with no exit where they don't squeeze you for more payments. Awful.

Moxie, Ive been having a cockroach problem for over a month now. When I first called it in, i was booked for a treatment, then a week later rescheduled. The other day the service man finally arrived to provide a treatment. He didn't believe we were seeing cockroaches and asked for a photo for proof. I didn't have one on my phone at the time. He said it was probably just a beetle and left a trap in the basement. in the past few days I've seen 4 cockroaches in my upstairs. Here is a photo the guy requested I take. I'm pretty sure it's a cockroach. We've used your services for a year now. Why are we dealing with cockroaches all of sudden? We've never had them in the past when we didn't hire pest control.
