I was in need of someone to come and take care of a yellow jacket problem I was having. Eric was not only the most responsive, but honest and knowledgeable as well! I want to say that after calling a few of the bigger, corporate owned places that were astronomical in their quotes to my elderly mother, I called here because the business was local and that appealed to me if my mother needed to contact them. Eric responded immediately which I did not expect at all and in the end didn’t charge my mother at all because there were solutions that she could do on her own. I really can't say enough nice things about Eric, the owner, and I would immediately recommend this company to anyone with a pest problem. He was highly profession, very quick to respond, and extremely knowledgeable. Seriously, his customer service cannot be beat! We discovered small bugs and flying insects in our basement last night, called close to closing time, and left a message. He called us back within 10 minutes and asked us to send him some pictures. We did and he called back a few minutes explaining that it was carpenter ants, he didn't want us to panic all night about it, and that he could try and fit us in the next day. He came by the next day and, as it turns out, we had both carpenter ants and termite swarmers (the picture of the winged one was a bit truncated and that one antenna bent like an ant's which made it look like a winged carpenter ant). He then spent well over an hour giving us a lot of good information regarding both- what they are, how we got them, and explaining how they should be treated, as he no longer does termite treatments. He told us the price range we should expect per linear foot, how they should be treated (and suggested asking about the carpenter ants, too, rather than just trying to get us to have him treat those), and suggested several companies to call to get quotes. All of this and he didn't even charge us a service charge for the visit! If we ever have any type of pest problem in the future, we wouldn't even consider calling anyone else.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I called for help with, what I thought were flying ants in my home, on a Saturday. Even though, the office was technically closed, my call was answered because they were doing a job that had been rained out earlier in the week. Eric asked me to send a quick picture of what I could see and said he'd call me right back. He followed through and called me back, telling me I had termites, not an ant problem, and unfortunately he does not handle termites. Eric went on to offer tons of advice, and told me what to be aware of so I will not get taken advantage of by any termite control companies. He offered further assistance if I run into any problems getting my issue fixed. It is so refreshing to know there are businesses that will go out of their way to be helpful, even when there is zero financial gain to them at the time!!! 100% will be a future customer if the need arises!

Called this company to see if they did clean up for mice in my attic. The gentleman that I spoke with was very informative, reassuring, and did not charge me a dime for his time and information. If I need any more help in the future, I will call Dayton's Hometown Pest Control.
