Brandon was kind, proud of his company and friendly with my dog. The service was quick and painless. Too early to see if it is effective for summer invaders. I hope to have a good relationship with Jay Taylor Exterminator. The termite inspector (Tom) was phenomenal.
Called and made appointment to initiate service for my home. Nobody showed up after I rushed home to be there at appointment time. I called and left message to tell them. No call back. Very unprofessional

I expected a little more information from the tech. I guess I was just shocked he didn't really go over anything. He also just left without giving me any feedback from this 1st initial visit.

This service wasn’t authorized. Why was a service done when the contract is out of date ? Someone called me that day that they were at the house and nobody was here. Nobody told us anybody was coming and nobody told me on that phone call that they were performing a service . They asked for Don Curtis I asked him if they had Don‘s number . I told them I’d let him know . Again I wasn’t told me on that phone call that they were performing a service. I feel like this is really bad business and we will be contacting the office tomorrow Jan 26 th .

Brenda, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for the confusion this caused. When the service agreement was not renewed after its August expiration, we are legally required by the state and manufacturer to retrieve unmonitored stations to properly close out the account. The visit on January 23 was for that purpose only, not to perform an active service. We apologize that the communication was unclear and welcome the opportunity to discuss this further. This tech DID NOT COME IN to check traps we saw the truck pass by. He did not ring bell or not. I am so upset the service was not done and I was home

I made an appointment but called back a couple days later to ask a question when I was told that my appointment time had changed. When the appointment was over, I was told to pay $200. While scheduling the appointment, they told me $150. The man doing the work said that it would last about three months and that I may see some insects coming out after the spray. I was also told by the woman who scheduled the appointment that they could respray every three months with a contract. I saw more palmetto bugs after they sprayed so after a couple months I called and A different person answered and said that I didn’t have a contract and that the bug spray only lasts a month. I told her I would be calling a different exterminator because no one should need to call an exterminator every month.
I made an appointment to get a quote for a termite treatment. The house has termite damage so I wanted to get it treated by an exterminator. I thought that’s what exterminators do. Well not this company. They didn’t even look inside the house. They just looked at the outside, said we can’t offer a treatment, and left. Update regarding their response to my review. ~ Like I said, they are not the kind of exterminators that get rid of termites so don’t waste your time if you think you have termite damage. They are also very rude.

I am very sorry that this is the experience you had with us. Yes, unfortunately, not all properties meet the requirements for us to provide a bid for termite control. When our representative came out, he determined that with the amount of termite evidence and moisture evidence (which is a conducive condition for termites) visible the exterior inspection prohibited him from providing a quote per our company policy. With the conducive condition mentioned above, he did not feel that if any termites were active that a treatment would be effective in stopping any termites. We would be happy to return and provide a quote for termite control once repairs have been made to control the conducive condition. We would hate to say we can provide control when, until the moisture issues are controlled you run the risk of cutting the termites off from the soil (where they live to get moisture to survive) and the termites living off of the moisture provided from the conducive condition. I am sorry that we did not explain the "why" we cannot provide a quote at this time.
Jay Taylor is not responsive in that they never come service my home at my convenience! It’s always at their convenience- “we’re not in the area until....”!! I find this to be very frustrating that I pay for two homes to be serviced and yet when we call for them to come, it’s never at my request, it’s usually a week or so before they come. If I am a paying customer and I need you, you should come to my area whether you are there or not!!! If you take my money, I should receive the services I pay for!! So what if you have to make a special trip- that’s your job- the one I pay for!!!

I signed up for the Essential Plus service where I was supposed to pay on a monthly basis and receive outdoor service on a monthly basis with interior on a quarterly. The first two services went well back in June and August. In November I had to reach out to them to find out why I didn't receive the followup service in October. Turns out the tech came by, saw my dogs in the yard and just left. He noted it, but I never received any notification that 1) he was there or 2) that he would reschedule. They came back out in November, but here we are at the end of March and again, I'm going to have to contact them to find out why they're not showing. The entire point of a scheduled service is so that I don't have to manage a schedule and keep track of when I'm due for a followup that I've already paid for.
We had a great technician come to the home and spray for carpenter ants. Upon completion he mentioned that we could have them come back out one more time if we saw them come back. When i called to request the second visit the staff were rude to me and told me that I only had 2 weeks or 30 days depending on which staff I spoke with to get this scheduled. I explained that i had planned to call but was displaced due to the hurricane to which they didnt care. I will not be using Jay Taylor moving forward for any services.

I would not recommend Jay, I called and made an APPOINTMENT for today and no one showed up or had the professional courtesy to make a phone call. I have been under a contract with him at my main residents for years, this was a rental. I will be cancelling my contract with him of course!! I had made arrangements for someone to be at the house. So they wasted her morning!!! Good Job!!! When I called and spoke to Heather, She informed me that someone called in sick and that Jay was supposed to take care of it, and It was not a big deal they can just reschedule. Well it is a big deal there were plans made around that 9am appointment. THAT'S WHY APPOINTMENTS ARE MADE!!! This would not have been a big deal if a phone call had been placed to me. They knew @ 8am that someone was going to be out sick, my appointment was for 9am. plenty of time to call your customer and reschedule..This shows a lack of professionalism.....
