Update: May 2024 Again this morning, we found a Mosquito Joe van in our driveway. Thankfully we were home to stop the technician from spraying our lawn. Clearly your mitigation strategy doesn't work and I implore you to do something about this. You need to flag the address in the system or something. I've now made this public, and will seek legal counsel if I ever have my yard sprayed again. I never ordered services from you and yet I come home to find your sign and a ticket in my door that my yard was treated. This is absolutely unacceptable. I keep my yard as natural as possible and you've now sprayed chemicals on my lawn and shrubs that will likely kill my bee population and impact the animals. Update after owner response: I think you should realize we live in a time where there are cameras everywhere. I have video footage of your technician in my flower beds, spraying flowering shrubs, and even turned around to spray my potted plants. I have zero faith that any of your policies are followed at this point. Clearly, this misleads all customers as to what plants/structures you actually do spray, hell, even what chemicals you use because if something as simple as "we don't spray plants" can't be followed, what else isn't??

We had 2 initial applications and still had a mosquito problem in our backyard. Informed representative that the applications were ineffective and did not want further service. Why would I keep paying for something that clearly is not working? For $85 an application this is not worth the money. Very expensive. More importantly, Scott Franasiak not only did not stand behind his work but did not honor the advertised Satisfaction Guarantee. This is a dishonest company with ineffective products. In response from a dishonest response from Scott Franasiak, I wanted to set the record straight. I communicated to your staff and applicators that the service was ineffective after the initial treatments and did not want to continue service. I paid for these initial treatments and cancelled service by informing staff. Why would anyone continue expensive and ineffective treatments? Additional services were not requested nor authorized. Scott Franasiak has continued to harass me and my family. I am not sure the reason for his unhinged behavior but no homeowner should be subject to such treatment. This is a dishonest company with ineffective products.

Our recommendations are tailored to the properties we treat so that we can address the specific needs of our customers that have proven to be successful in the past. Our recommendation for yours was that our first three visits would be applied every 2 weeks to build up protection, break the mosquito breeding cycle, and establish control. After this process, we would return to reapply every 3 weeks to maintain pest control. Unfortunately, you may be experiencing less than ideal results due to you choosing to have your 3rd application pushed out from the scheduled visit. The expectations we discussed were that deviating from the suggested program may allow the insects to multiply quickly, resulting in the need to have additional treatments outside the normal schedule to regain control. We'd love the opportunity to discuss this in more detail with you, and we'd appreciate it if you gave us a call at (716) 418-8118. When we signed up for service 2 weeks ago we were told we could get a respray 7 days after the initial application because we were having a grad party this Sunday. We were specifically told to call the Monday before the party. We called on Monday and were told we would get a text letting us know when they were coming. It is now Friday and we haven't heard anything so we called back. We were now told that they have to mail out post cards to our neighbors informing them they will be spraying and calling on Monday doesn't give them enough time. They said there was nothing they could do even though they told us to call on Monday. Will not be using this service anymore. Going to a local company where you can actually talk to someone in this state.

I called and they agreed to come out and spray a booster. That afternoon my 80 lb German Shepherd became so ill, he was vomiting uncontrollably couldn't walk or hold his head up. The vet said it was a reaction he had from the mosquito booster. I could only imagine what this would have done to a small dog. The fish and tadpoles in my pond were all dead and there was a film on the pond. They also left a note on my door saying they were there at 8:40 a.m. they did not come until about 1:45pm this is unacceptable and something that shouldn't happen when people have pets and children. I immediately called the next morning to let them know what happened to my dog and my fish and they told me I would be receiving a call from management. This never happened I received no phone call from the manager not even an apology. The only thing I received was phone call after phone call asking for their final payment, I even told the girl on the phone I will pay when I speak to the manager she said she would have a manager call me.. that never happened continued to get phone calls about the $90 I owed and a letter in the mail asking for the $90. I feel it is extremely unprofessional that they couldn't even acknowledge their mistake when I called the next morning and told them about my dog and my fish they told me they didn't even know I had a pond????? Which is a lie when I called and asked for the booster we were talking about my pond and they were asking if I had water flow to it to make sure that wasn't the problem the mosquitoes weren't going away. So they 100% knew I had a pond because they had been there three times prior to spray. After my experience I would never recommend mosquito Joe to anybody whatever is in that booster spray is definitely not pet friendly, and they don't care all they care about is their money!

I had two treatments back-to-back totaling around $150 and saw no improvement whatsoever with the mosquito population in my yard. When I called them to voice my confusion they said that in the fine print it doesn't guarantee anything and you need to continue many treatments for it to be POTENTIALLY effective. I guess if you want to pay $450 you can maybe put a dent in the mosquito population. The staff is friendly but unfortunately the product does not live up to any sort of hype.

We have used them at a property we had that was 3 times the size we are now, this is ridiculous, we've had to call more than one time to let them know we're still getting bit. I called yesterday and cancelled the remainder of our services due to the reoccurrences. We've had 3 treatments thus far.....there was no attempt at retaining us as customers, or some suggestions on how to handle the situation. It's what they specialize in, they should know how to combat these things.....very unfortunate....
