I have used this company multiple times for different old, pest infested prewar apartments and they're always able to come up with creative and effective solutions at keeping roaches and rodents out of my apartment even if they're present in the building. They've helped more than any super or landlord hired exterminator. A huge huge shoutout to Samuel, Kenny, Jonah, and David. These guys are great and clearly care so much about and take pride in their work. And also just to mention Gen - she's so great at coordinating and keeping things organized - such fast service and scheduling!
Carpet beetle problem was solved quickly and professionally. Gen Tutor was great in arranging everything and coordinating furniture moving and carpet removal (and reinstallation).
Great place to inquire about random critters. Shout out to Gen whom has been quick to answer and provide any information that would be helpful. Simply excellent
I really like their philosophy and I even saw an interview with the founder but unfortunately I've only been able to get in touch with their calling service. And I tried three times. The person on the phone didn't even know that Long Island City was in Queens. He thought it was in Long Island. He lived outside of the US so I can't blame him for not knowing . I wish I could just talk to the people who will actually do the work. Otherwise I feel I'll just get some random Tech. I want to get a sense of them. I'm tempted to go to their office in Long Island City, but that's still at least an hour round trip. They don't give free inspections so I would have to pay over $500 just to have them come to my house. But I would feel uncomfortable if I can't even talk to the people who are actually going to do the work and who our knowledgeable about it.

Hi Elle,

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. This sounds like a very irregular experience and I'd love to give you a call to learn more about it. I don't see any record of your call - please email me at info@mmenviro.net or call me at 212-219-8218 ext 2012.

Best,
Will McQuaig
I sent a picture to see if I could possibly have termites and they responded promptly. It is nice that they are willing to help out with insect identification, even if you are not an existing customer.
Will and JP were great!
A wonderfully fast response time! Glenn was knowledgeable and helpful. Overall the company was quick, very friendly, and knew what they were doing. Last but not least, Matcha was a literal star! 11/10. That extra star is exclusively for Matcha.
I would recommend MMPC to everyone. They excelled in customer service, organization, ability to explain different approaches and options for the infestation. Gen was our point of contact and was so quick to answer all communication. I got connected with Morgan and Will for general questions I had and they answered knowledgeably and with so much patience. Kevin was the project manager and went so far above and beyond, he was a star. Lastly the team of technicians were friendly and professional day of treatment. While MMPC may not be the least expensive option, they are 100% worth it.
Provided me with quick and accurate information, allowing me to feel at ease and confident with how to proceed to solve my problem.
Gen was super friendly and responsive. Had a rodent problem in several apartment units. They came in, did an assessment, then came back to patch the openings. Alberto did a great job proofing the apartments.
I sent them pictures of what I suspect to be bed bug, they couldnt Identify from the pixalated picture but they sure answered fast and sincerely. Thanks.
I contacted MMPC to determine what insect I was investigating in my home. Their response was prompt and professional. I would refer them to anyone requiring assistance with an insect problem.
I am extremely grateful to MMPC and, in particular, to Brenda Adhiambo for helping me identify an insect I found on my bed during my vacation. I found this bug late at night. I panicked about it being bedbugs, I took a picture of it and sent it to MMPC, using their free insect identification service. Early the next morning, I received a detailed report identifying the insect and a description of their habitat and precautions with it. It was not a bedbug. I was so relieved I was able to relax and continue my vacation after reading their report. This is an exceptional company with great customer service.
I would like to give a shout out to alberto and andres for their excellent work today, they were attentive and explained everything they would do the issues the apartment had before hand. They made me feel comfortable and confident that the issue will get resolved! Thank you again to the both of them!
Timely, friendly and effective, especially Gen. My building is pre historic so it’s a consistent issue and MMPC has made great recommendations. Worth the price - I’m sure it’s competitive but I’ve paid around $600 (no structural proofing yet) for my 1 bedroom and the issue is SIGNIFICANTLY better. More to come and would recommend working with Gen!
I had a BAD mouse problem in my apartment I was SCARED to LIVE. I tried multiple pest control companies and the problem persisted. I called MMPC and they came and I thought the quote was expensive but I was DESPERATE so I went with them and at first the problem persisted but I would call them and they’d come back again and again without extra charge to solve the problem and now my home is cured 🙏🏽 I dealt with someone named Morgan he was lovely and helpful and I owe him my life
EDIT: I was contacted by MMPC and they helped fix the caulking job I was unhappy with. I admit I may have misdirected my frustration at my building to MMPC, and it really is my building’s fault the infestation has gotten so bad. It has gotten a lot better, just not good enough to consider staying. I used to see several live roaches in every room every day, mostly in the kitchen. Now I haven’t seen any outside the kitchen, but they are still in the kitchen and appearing in traps in the kitchen and living room. I think if I had more time I would do the follow-up, but it’s not MMPC’s fault that I don’t have time before my lease is up. They are very nice people and care about customer service. Original review: I had high hopes for MMPC given all the good reviews, but my infestation is still ongoing and I’ve decided to move out instead of continuing to live with an infestation. MMPC was my last resort and unfortunately they did not come through. The techs were overconfident and said it “wasn’t even that bad,” and “not an infestation,” which made me have hope that they would be able to handle it. They recommended ULV, a follow-up, and proofing, and the caulking job included in proofing was not thorough at all (apparently there were supposed to be two techs but only one came) and my super ended up doing a better job a week later. For $1000 I was expecting much more thorough work. It was also implied that I would have to pay for a follow-up when I was initially told the follow-up cost would be included in the $700 ULV treatment. I also found it difficult to get ahold of Gen. To their credit the problem has improved, but not enough that I feel comfortable staying in this apartment. Photo included of the full glue traps I returned to after a 10 day vacation where no food waste was being produced in the kitchen, yet the roaches were still present weeks after the ULV treatment. Maybe I shouldn't have expected one company to be able to solve an infestation this bad, but the great reviews gave me false hope.
Sent in a photo of a suspicious bug, and got a response back super quickly. Saved me some worry as it shouldn't be a problem. Very nice service!
Diego and Kenneth from M&M Pest Control were fantastic! Super thorough, professional, and really friendly — just genuinely nice guys with great energy. You can tell they care about their work and making sure everything is done right. They went above and beyond to explain everything and ensure our home was properly treated. I highly recommend M&M Pest Control — especially Diego and Kenneth — for anyone dealing with cockroach issues or any pest problem. Outstanding service all around!
MMPC quickly and readily identified the insect I was dealing with. If I had a pest control issue, I would not hesitate to use them.
I was initially attracted to MMPC as I had learned from research that heat treatment is very effective in eradicating bed bugs. However, when MMPC recommended the heat treatment, Gen, a representative from the company, instructed me to empty the entire room completely. This entailed removing the bed, nightstand, dresser, everything from the room, even the carpet. When researching bed bug eradication by heat treatment, you will see that this is the exact opposite of what is recommended by professionals. Unfortunately, I followed these instructions. Ultimately, this cost me $2000 as I paid $800 for a company to remove the carpet and $1200 for a different company to re-install it, all of which was entirely unnecessary. I also paid over $3000 for removal of the furniture and personal belongings as well as Vikane treatment of the removed personal effects. Additionally, MMPC was going to charge $4000 to heat up an empty room! I pushed back on this, and instead of doing the heat treatment, Kevin decided that ULV and Wall Void treatment would be best. In layman’s terms, this is just chemical treatment. Chemical treatment takes a long time, requires at least two to three applications, and is not very effective in eradicating bed bugs from an apartment. I had reached out to MMPC specifically to avoid chemical treatment! As I had already invested time in removing the furniture, thinking that they would have better options available, I decided, against my better judgement, to just go forward with their recommendations. When I spoke to Gen to confirm the treatment, she informed me that they were only going to do treatment in the bedroom. However, when Rico showed up for the treatment, he said that he had been told by Gen to do a full apartment treatment. This wouldn’t have been that big of a deal, but the full apartment treatment means that they are spraying chemicals throughout the entire apartment. I had prepared for treatment in the bed room that had already been stripped of furniture and carpet, but I had not prepared for treatment in my living room and kitchen. As such, once Rico informed me of this, I was frantically scurrying around the kitchen trying to safeguard my vulnerable kitchen equipment to include my kettle, food and dishes that were out, and even my cat’s water bowl and feeder. The process was so disorienting that I thought I had poisoned my cat(!!) because I left out a feeder. When I talked to Gen the next day, she told me that all of this was a “Blessing in disguise.” I do not think that being stressed out and calling hotlines with fears about poisoning your pet is a “Blessing in disguise.” Overall, the bed bug issue spread anyway to the entire apartment, even after the first chemical application. Needless to say, I was super disappointed in this company, wasted over $1,000 in treatment, and I wasted over $6,000 total when you include removal and treatment of the furniture and replacement of the carpet. I would never use them again. I’ve been incredibly upset by their practices and am grateful that I was able to find a better, more effective company.
Everytime they come into my apartment they are very cheap with the spray and they don’t spray around every single edge and crevices they just shoot ones and think that’s enough. That is not how you do it. You have to make sure you get every edge and every crevices not just one squirt on 1 spot and think that’s okay. Stop being cheap because I contracted you guys to do the 6 family building if they continue being lazy with the extermination I will switch companies

Hi Wanda, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We would like to speak to you and address your concerns, but I'm unable to find your information as a client in our system. If you could kindly reach out to our office (212-219-8218 or info@mmenviro.net) we would very much appreciate the opportunity to rectify this issue.
Wanted $500 for an inspection. Get real
Response from MMPC
Hi Rashidul, we do apologize if the cost was higher than expected. This is an average price for a certified canine inspection for bed bugs in a large house that is outside of our typical service range. Typically an inspection of this kind does take 2 hours with over 2 hours of round trip drive time. We are happy to give you any advice you may want on the matter for free or to try and direct you to more local companies that may be able to offer you slightly more cost-friendly services.
This place is an absolute SCAM!!! Stay away!! I had someone come a week ago to take an “assessment” of my house, it cost $272 which was fine. They told me once they have the report they will come back to do the treatment. Well it’s been over 7 days and not one person will return my phone call and no treatment has been scheduled. All of these google reviews are FAKE- worst company ever.

This absolutely is not the way in which we conduct ourselves as a business and does not sound like our typical client experience. We've looked into our client database and cannot find you in our system under the name you're posting under. Perhaps you've mistaken us for another company pretending to be us. We would love to look into this further if we can speak to you.
Do not attempt to do business with them. Called explaining my situation, they called back to tell to me they'd need call me back. Called me back, explained my situation again. Told me they'll need to call me back yet again. A Raymond then calls me back and says they're not experienced enough to handle what every other extermination company has since told me is common in NYC and not an issue. Raymond says he will consult with his team of over 40 exterminators and call back the next day. Never calls back. I call two more times to which they assure me I'll get a call back. Never do. I believe this company is bush league and are not professional or qualified enough to handle even minor jobs. Avoid.
A person named Samuel came to do the pest control, keep lying, especially rude to tenants, and Jackson, really unprofessional!
Very sad to leave this review. The first time (2020) we worked with the company they did an exceptional job. We had cockroach problems in our apartment, and even though extermination was pricey, it was totally worth it. When we started to have issues again this year, we didn’t even consider to go with any other company because of our previous experience. That’s why it’s super disappointing that the second time around we did not get any results after their service, or the initiative to make it better after we raised concerns. The gentleman was very nice who came to exterminate, however when we came back to the apartment after the recommended 90 minutes the plastic draping on the kitchen (which was supposed to block roaches to escape from the gas) was halfway down as it wasn’t properly taped. That was concerning already as we found roaches in other areas of the apartment where we didn’t have issues before. We emptied all kitchen cabinets, so when they exterminate the gas can get in every areas of the place properly. When we came back we were surprised that all cabinets were closed. That was concern #2. But even after the drape falling off and the closed cabinets, we thought to ourselves- we had great results before, they must know what they do, it’s gonna be fine. That’s why it’s frustrating that 1 month and $600 later we still have the same issues with no improvement what so ever. We understand that sometimes it takes few weeks for the insects to disappear and the results come overtime, but last time around maybe we had few roaches here and there a week after the service and then they completely disappeared. The man who treated the place did mention that they are using a different gas than last time, so don’t know if the new solution is worthless or the execution was the issue, but something was clearly not working. When we reached out to let them know about the situation they offered a small discount on a redo… it doesn’t appeal to me to pay hundreds of dollars again on something that might not even work. I work in customer service and this is not how you treat an issue if you want to have a satisfied and returning customer. Supper disappointed, will not return or recommend this business.
I don’t like to be reviewing publicly but have to be aware others about their treatment and sloppy customer services. I call them because of good reviews online and really disappointed with their treatment which I spent more than $500... can’t believe how they can do with my hard earn money. Seriously even 1 star not deserved
I had them come out to treat for bugs but we were still having issues only a few days after. They said they would come out again (since I was still under warranty). They missed that appointment. They apologized and said they would reschedule and give me a free treatment for the inconvenience. They missed their appointment AGAIN. The worst part is that I contacted them and they are ignoring me. What a dishonest thing to do. Very disappointed.
Just called for service and the answering service representative Joyce from communication solutions said she was unable to forward my name and telephone number to the owner because they had a long list of questions to ask.
