Atticcrawl insulated the walk-up attic in my small home. The crew was great and did excellent work. No complaints. Based on the layout, the rep who came to my house and sold me on the work made the plan to go through an exterior window to the attic, though it is easily accessible from our bedroom. After the fact I discovered that there was damage to the exterior of the window they worked through. There is now wind coming in the attic - I have to assume it has something to do with the wind flow that is new from this damaged window, but it keeps us up at night with the howl. I believe that the window was already soft as this is an old house that we bought in 2025 and we know there is work to be done. I don't think the crew did anything wrong. HOWEVER, I do think that the foreman/planner who came out and sold us on the work and decided they should go through the attic should take some responsibility for making that plan. He inspected my house, told me about his building expertise, knew what their equipment meant, saw the window, made the plan. There was another evident and easy access to the attic - the window was not the only option. My real issue is that they were super responsive when they were selling me the insulation. Called back every time, came right out for an appointment. I've had poor customer service since reporting the damage. The main office told me to expect to hear from the salesperson/representative, I had one brief exchange with the promise I would hear from them again but if he's called I've not gotten the message. I did follow up with the office again before making this review and haven't heard back. I would give good rating on the personal engagement with the crew and I don't really know how to rate the work they did (the insulation is hidden), but I have no complaints. My poor rating is entirely about the customer service response after they made the sale and had my money.

I don't give 5 stars easily but, the crew that came did an excellent job no complaints about them. Removed all storage that we had in the attic lifted all plywood removed old insulation vacuumed the attic air gap sealed then installed new insulation along with rafter vents reinstalled plywood brought up all of the items they removed then cleaned up like they were never here. Will definitely use this company again when I want to reinsulate my walls with blown in insulation.

I had a raccoon infestation, Atticrawl was able to book me ASAP after the initial consultation/estimate. They came immediately when two babies were still trapped inside after the removal. Disinfected the entire attic, replaced insulation, and sealed any openings. Thank you Atticrawl team!

Rob came by this morning to inspect the inside and outside of our house to see if we had bat infestation and/or access points. He was very thorough and they were prompt on their response and on time for the appointment. Luckily no issues were found. I appreciate the honesty as often there would be some billable issue to address. If you have concerns about bat access give them a call.

Ralph and the crew members did a great job when we needed new insulation put down in our attic. Ralph was always available and patient whenever I called/texted and explained the process step-by-step (and I called multiple times). The crew themselves were timely, professional, took extra precautions to ensure a 'clean' job, and showed me the steps as they were working. We were very pleased with Atticrawl and how they conducted business from beginning to end of the job.

I hired Atticcrawl to complete weatherproofing, pest removal (ancient mice plus droppings), sanitizing and insulating a miserably small crawl space. The two workers who completed the job were courteous and professional and left no trace. All work completed thoroughly and quickly. Zak was super helpful when providing estimates. I’m very pleased with the work and have another job coming for the future. Thank you Atticcrawl.

We moved in just over a year ago and did a partial renovation, the house had been empty for some time prior to our purchase. The insulation in the attic was old and there was none in the crawl space, the house was drafty and cold. Tre came in and did an inspection, he was very pleasant and knowledgeable, he explained what they would do and answered all our questions, then quoted us a very fair price. Francisco and his crew showed up on schedule, they also were very pleasant as well as efficient, explained again what they were going to do, and then curtained off the kitchen and living room and covered the floor with plastic sheeting. They removed the old insulation and vacuumed the attic and crawlspace (rodent droppings and all), sealed all the gaps, disinfected the area then installed new r30 insulation. They cleaned up when the job was finished and left our house clean. It was 10 degrees last night and we have already seen an enormous improvement, the house is no longer drafty and the floors are warmer (hardwood and tile). We also noticed that the heat did not kick on nearly as often as it did previously. We are very pleased with Atticrawl and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Today, I am happily sitting in my newly remediated and renovated home. It is 14 days that I am back in my home, but the entire process took 11 months. It’s quite an accomplishment. All made possible by my amazing teams of caring experts. My intention is to recognize each of them by name, but if I left anyone out, just know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I feel great and I anticipate continued good health for both my body and my building. I want to share my appreciation for the AtticCrawl Team. My first contact was Nicole in setting up appointments, which was prompt and professional and friendly. Ralph arrived at my home on-time with a big smile and fantastic expertise about attics, insulation, remediation and rodent control. He is a natural teacher and I had a ton of questions. Months later,when the technicians came to install the new insulation, Anthony was the lead person with a team of two. They took the time to cover all the areas of my newly renovated home and remediated attic space with layers of plastic. They were done in no time, fulfilling the specifications outlined by Ralph in the contract. Ralph is also a very honest guy. He refunded me for something that was addressed before they arrived (between the time of contract written and their arrival.) I like integrity. Now, during this very cold winter, I can feel the benefits of the new R38 insulation especially in bedroom next to attic. What I look for in a working relationship is progress, not perfection. (There was a hiccup where bleach was about to be used instead of organic product. But it was resolved quickly.) The joy of excellent execution. These guys did a great job! Highly recommend.

I usually dont do reviews but I'm more than happy to do it for Atticrawl LLC I reached out to this company as a last resort, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had been struggling with the original company that had done my insulation on my roof less than 3 years ago, I must Say Atticrawl Is Amazing They insulated my non vented flat roof ceiling perfectly and I was very happy with the result. Tre is Very knowledgeable and gave me a great deal. They sent a really professional team to work in my house. Francisco & his Crew they knew what they were doing since I opened the door, They had the best attitude , very competent, efficient and experienced I will recommend them to anyone who ask me about insulation!

Tre came out to check my attic because I suspected a squirrel got in. He inspected it and saw the insulation damage caused by the pest and set a trap for me. Since I have a new roof & siding he told me to contact that company to see where a possible hole could be. He was personable and a total professional and told me to call if I needed any more help in rectifying the situation. :

We had our entire attic gutted, sanitized, and cleaned, with new insulation installed and the floorboards put back in place. This was a big project that my wife and I were nervous about. However, the entire team at Atticrawl made it a very positive, efficient, and seamless venture. It all turned out wonderfully and I can’t recommend the company highly enough.

[Update] Tre and Atticrawl did an excellent job following up to my initial complaints, therefore I am updating my rating. After several phone discussion and two follow up visits with remediation work revealed a potential root cause of the cold spots. The extra layers of batts that Tre applied in the problematic areas seems to have positive effects. Kudos to Tre and his team for their professionalism! --- [Original] Unfortunately, I'm not impressed by the quality of their work. Comparison of thermal images before and after their work 1 day apart clearly show more cold spots in the after photo, and I absolutely don't see any improvement in energy consumption based on Nest thermostat reading. Thankfully, Tre is actively working with me to fix the cold spots at the moment. This review will be updated after the remedial work.

We had an ice dam prevention project. 5 Stars all around for the quality of work, Ralph's supervision, and the crew.

Genuinely terrible experience with this company, they damaged my home and said they would repair it. The moment the check we mailed came they refused to service the repair, and even forged a signature saying I agreed work was finished, with the most fake signature I have ever seen. Run from this company and use someone else, lights coming loose, ceiling cracking, they'll say is counting as nail pops

**DO NOT USE Atticrawl LLC - WOODBRIDGE, NJ - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!** I am writing this review to warn anyone considering using Atticrawl LLC in Woodbridge, NJ, for attic services, specifically raccoon removal, to RUN, not walk, away. My experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare, the worst I have ever encountered with any service provider. From the start, things were unprofessional. I explicitly discussed my invoicing and payment preferences, only to be harassed relentlessly for immediate payment after the supposed job was completed. Despite my clear communication, they ignored my instructions and resorted to aggressive phone calls demanding payment on the spot. When I spoke to a supervisor, he was dismissive and stated his crew wouldn't leave until they were paid, holding me hostage in my own home. The "services" they provided were a complete sham. They claimed to have removed and replaced insulation, repaired walls, and sealed entry points used by the raccoons. This was a blatant lie. It is currently 2:00 AM, and I am battling a massive raccoon that they trapped *inside* my attic! They sealed it in, creating an even bigger problem than before. The stench of raccoon urine permeates my ceiling, which will now require complete replacement. Adding insult to injury, I provided my own animal cages, believing they would be strategically placed in the attic crawl spaces. Two of my cages are now completely missing, nowhere to be found. Furthermore, the raccoon nest, which I specifically pointed out to the crew, is still in the exact same spot! Atticrawl LLC charged me $5,000 for absolutely nothing. They have made the situation exponentially worse. I am beyond disgusted and frustrated. I will be filing a police report for fraud and submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Do not, under any circumstances, use this company. They are dishonest, incompetent, and their work is utterly worthless. They have turned my home into a biohazard and caused significant damage. Avoid them at all costs!

Unfortunately after doing a great job, I had horrible water damage in the room underneath where they were in the attic. Insurance investigation revealed a pvc pipe was stepped on and broken. Taped with duct tape and left to cause damage weeks later without warning. They were the only ones up there ofr over a year before and they would not take responsibility. Thery wanted me to "prove it was them". Beware of companies that don't do the right thing. Would not give me insurance information. I was going to take them to court but I got my insurance to cover.

Don’t waste your time. Scheduled an evaluation of my crawlspace to get a proposal to properly insulate it. They told me a “technician” would come out to evaluate and provide a proposed solution. The “technician” came out and evaluated, then worked up a cost on a note pad. Then high pressure / used car salesman process started. It even included a let me call my manager to see what he can do on the price. Told the tech/slesperson that I need a written proposal to make a decision, and would get back to him by Tuesday. Never received a written proposal, and the tech/salesperson called me to follow up without ever sending me a quote. Btw, received 2 written proposals without effort from 2 other reputable companies, both 30% cheaper than the verbal quote from these guys.

Expensive and ineffective. In February 2023 we had our attic and basement insulated as well as rodent proofing done around the roof. The attic seems as though it was done fine but the insulation is actually not the ideal R value. There were misunderstandings in regards to the basement and when it was done we quickly realized it was probably never necessary for it to be insulated, but they probably knew that. The rodent proofing was useless and they seemed to have damaged the roof while installing it. We regret not doing more research and folding to a stupid “discount”. It cost us a lot and we would not recommend.

Used them in March for new installation and rodent proofing. Once it got cold our mouse problem became worse than what it was prior to them servicing our attic. Very disappointed that we are catching at least 3 mice a week and it hasn't been a year. Feels like we wasted our money on this expensive service. UPDATE 1/10/24 - still getting mice and noticed they didn't replace all the insulation. My old insulation is still in some places. New insulation pink and old is yellow. They totally didn't service the areas as stated in the contract. If you have crawl spaces, I highly recommend checking to confirm the work was completed.

Very disappointed in the service, or I should say, lack thereof. They advertised free in-home inspection of attic and crawl space. However the person who came to inspect my requested space, a crawl space was more interested in selling me their services for attic insulation. I never received the follow-up proposal and photos which were promised and never heard from them since October 25, 2023. I found someone else to clean and disinfect my crawl space, and will move on to reinsulating my attic in the coming months. I would not recommend this company.

I called for an estimate in order to insulate a crawl space. During my message I mentioned it was for a new addition. Our addition is complete but I need insulation in order to get a final inspection. I was saddened to learned that for some reason they do not service "new additions" even though the actual crawl space is complete. I can't wrap my head around how a company chooses to cherry pick new business.

UPDATE: As of November 3, 2022 our house is finally completely cleaned and bat-proofed. A 5 month run-around. To their credit, the associate with whom I spoke and worked, Ryan, DID try to set me up with earlier and earlier dates for service to address the issues. However, it was always last minute (which I understand), but not a possibility with my job to call-out last minute. On the 3rd, a team of 4 guys showed up. Just as they did in May, 2 guys vacuumed the remaining guano from the attic, spray-foamed, and sanitized. The other 2 guys worked on the exterior, using mesh and mortar to seal up any gaps between the soffit and the brick. At the end of the 2 hour job, the lead worker had Ryan on the phone who spoke to me to make sure the job was done and that I was happy. I was. Finally! FINAL NOTE: If you want to spend a lot of money and have a lot of time to waste...use this business. If not, look elsewhere. Do your research. I DO hope they take these reviews into consideration and use the feedback to better their business practices. I wish the best for them. ORIGINAL POST BELOW (September 2022): We trusted them. As professionals and “experts” to exclude the bats from our home and provides sound and experienced advice. First: Eli says we shouldn’t live in our newly purchased home from when he came and found bats (May) until they excluded them (August). So we lived with family members, tagging our toddler along, until my correspondence with MacKenzie Hall from the state of Nj, endangered species, who said it was safe to move in (Late June). Secondly: august arrives, time to exclude the bats, I tell Eli I don’t want them to cut into our interior walls. He proceeds to bully and intimidate me into paying full price for the quoted job that they were not completing (cutting into the interior walls). Even though evidence doesn’t support bats returning to a roost, even with remaining guano present. Fast forward: bats return. I call them to discuss solutions, desperate to fix the issue so I can have my house re-insulted middle of summer. No call back. This means no insulation job can be scheduled. While we hemorrhage AC and money on electric with no insulation in the attic, waiting for a call back. I have warned my neighbors. Now, I just want this nightmare to end. if you have BATS, Do NOT, hire attic crawl. Look for a state_approved company who knows bats from rodents, at least. and hope you get better customer service

I'm a contractor in NYC and decided to use someone local to where I live in NJ. Never have I ever seen someone come in do work and leave without properly cleaning the mess. Came home to very dirty house with dust on the beds, floors. Just simply disgusting! And good luck getting In touch with your "project manager" that never picks up his phone and goes straight to voicemail. Set up where he can only call not the other way around.
