The absolute worst lawn care service we’ve ever had!!! Prepaid for 6 treatments and supposedly performed one, however our yard still looked like crap. Never came back out even though stated they would. Informed them by email we were cancelling the rest of the 5 treatments and wanted a refund in which they stated over the phone we’d receive and still have not received it! Contacted the Better Business Bureau a month ago who sent out complaint to them which indicated they read the complaint but haven’t responded to them either! It’s looking like we will soon be filing paperwork with our courthouse and taking them to court for our money!!! They’re theives!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!

Dealt with Lawn Dr, Mullica Hill, Terrible customer service (Howard), We spent $1,000 on seed October 2023, email said guaranteed 100% germination rate, also guaranteed as long as the customer uses the yearly plan. We called in early May regarding very low germination rate and was advised that it was too late in the season to re-seed, and it would be addressed in the fall. We emailed two weeks ago and was told they would re-seed for an additional $700. When I inquired about the guarantee Harold stated the guarantee ran out in the spring. I called the corporate office and was advised the owner would contact me but they are all privately owned, which means the corporate office backs the deceptive business practices. A week later still no contact or resolution.

Middletown-Dover is horrible. They care only about getting you into a co tract. I've been waiting for 5 months to pay the last bill because I want to speak with the owner about all my weeds all season. Left message after message. Finally, they called me back because I called corporate. He could have cared less. Corporate couldn't do anything because they are all individually owned and operated. Don't waste your money!!!

STAY AWAY from the Lakewood-Jackson branch. Echoing everyone else's comments. The promise and don't do... I encourage everyone to sue them in a small claims court.

The Lawn Doctor is a SCAM. They have franchises across the country that provide terrible service and are non-responsive to customers. They offer a "100% satisfaction guarantee" on their website, but will not respond to my calls or emails. I have attempted to contact my local Lawn Doctor franchise and the corporate office with no response. After reading reviews of other franchises it is clear that poor service and communication is a systemic issue across the company. DO NOT HIRE LAWN DOCTOR!

I called for information. Told the operator I wanted Matawan office. They gave me the lakewood store. I asked for the technician who was going to spray to call me to go over chemicals being used, they never called. Next day I have a billing my mailbox for full amount I had a coupon for 1/2 off first spray. I never authorized any spray till I spoke to the technician. I called they told me they have no contract, the technician doesn't speak to clients, the secretary said she doesn't know what they spray or how. I never got a call back and I'm not paying a bill I'm overcharged on and never authorized. We also have as many mosquitos biting us as before so I don't believe they ever came at all. In fact my kids were hone all day and they heard nothing, nor did they see a guy in our yard spraying. I have 8 small yapping dogs not one bark from them really? Ok teenagers ya maybe but chihuahuas? They bark at everything and there's a bay window over looking my yard.. The lakewood/ Jackson office is bullsh$# and scammers....

My yard was half decent before I started using this service . After 2 years of using this service my yard has never looked worse . After calling them back they did nothing about it and took no responsibility . This is the worse service ever !
