Sold me a $300+ grafted apple tree, we bought the dirt they recommended, followed planting directions. Put it by 2 other existing apple trees that were thriving fine. It died within 1 season. They would not partially refund any money. Only if they would have came and planted it, themselves. And I saw 1 of the owners at Churchill County's Co- op tree and shrub sale, buying up all bare root trees and shrubs so they can charge the unknowing residents of Fallon a ridiculous price. Watch out people! The Lowe's in Fernley has better prices and plant life warranties!!

Thank you Jody for your voluntary review.<br><br>We love feedback and utilize all constructive criticism to better ourselves🥰<br>We urge and encourage our customers to call, take photos, text and reach out for help anytime they are struggling or having issues with any plant or tree they purchase from The Village.<br>We want all our customers to be successful and understand how challenging gardening can be!<br><br>As far as $300 fruit trees, The Village has never had any standard or combo fruit tree priced as such. We have not raised our prices on fruit trees in 5 years and our highest fruit tree 15-20g sells for $189.<br><br>There is only one owner of The Village.<br>Yes, The Village does purchase all left over trees from any co-op whom reaches out to save co-op from loosing trees that do not sell at their fund raiser.<br>We purchase trees from co-op and then donate most trees that we pot up and grow for a year. Mind you these 1-2’ sticks a year later can be up to 4-5’ tall. For anyone who wasn’t successful on their own co-op purchase, tend to come snag up the same trees a year later we were successful at growing and are left over after donations are given!<br>The Village strives to offer the healthiest retail ready trees. The employees are very courteous and helpful. They helped me in choosing plants and then carrying them to my truck as well as soil. They are very knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the things I need to do in my garden.

Beautiful, even fun place to stop and shop! Staff very cheerful and helpful. Plants are healthy and have been successful transplanting. We are extremely fortunate to have this nursery in Fallon!

Drove by and decided to stop by. I was in search for rip tip photina and this nursery had them and so much more that you can't find. I was helped in such a lovely way and even had my plants carried to my vehicle. I definitely recommend this place, the owner has such a lovely and positive attitude.

Went here a year ago and asked for some help to design a front yard and maybe get a contact for someone to do some weekly maintenance. They took down my information and we waited. Almost a year goes by and we finally get a call. They are willing to waive the usual fee for design (Never told of a fee) if we would be available the following day for the owner to come by and design our yard. No thank you. I have a life also. Never got another call back. Next time I went there I have an issue with a fruit tree. I took a leaf in to get it diagnosed as to issues and the type of fruit tree. My mistake on taking a leaf into a nursery. Which I was immediately chastised for, by the owner. Never told what type of tree it could have come from. The owner said it was aphid damage. Later that day I spent an hour looking for aphids on the tree or eggs and found nothing. The owner said that I need to spray the tree every day. I Asked what I should spray the tree with and got no answer. I did want to buy another tree that was not available at the other nursery that I went to so I bared through the condescending attitude. Asked questions about that tree and good thing that she was able to Google the info. Noticed that she treated her employees the same way, so not feeling like it was personal. Owners Response "nonfactual comments". NOW I AM BEING CALLED A LIAR!

Drove by and decided to stop in. I was impressed with the products and the prices. We picked up some locally grown veggie and fruit starts. Amazing customer service. She will give you great instructions to insure success. I plan to come back when we finally landscape!
