Michigan Wildlife Specialists did an exceptional job inspecting my attic and resolving a pest issue. They quickly identified the problem, safely removed a nest, and clearly explained what needed to be done. They then sealed every entry point with real attention to detail, ensuring critters can’t get back in. Professional, thorough, and genuinely customer‑focused—this is a team I’d recommend without hesitation.

Called and spoke to receptionist about bat in my house. She said if I knew where the bat was they would come out same day and remove it. I didn’t stay in my house that night but knew where the bat was. I went back and checked and he was still there. I called back and receptionist had tech call me. He called right away and headed to my house and got the bat. He was punctual and professional and looked at a couple places that concerned me. They are coming Friday to seal up everything. Great, professional service!!!

Anika Burris
The website says they service my area but when I asked for a quote I was told they don't. So either someone it lying or being lazy or they're entirely incompetent.
Provider response
Dear Anika,

Sorry for the confusion. To ensure we provide the best service possible during our busy season, we temporarily narrow our service area to manage high demand. Our service availability also depends on the specific service requested. We have this statement on our website also.

Unfortunately, this means we may not be able to schedule service in your area at this time.
Sol Purofoy
clearly advertises to serve Detroit specifically and does not serve Detroit proper at all.
Provider response
Thank you for your feedback, Sol. We apologize for any confusion regarding our service area. We are located in Fenton, Michigan, and do not advertise or claim to serve Detroit proper. Detroit is unfortunately outside of our operating range. We clearly outline our service areas on our website, and at our busiest times, our range is even smaller. We encourage prospective Customers to check our service map before booking.

We hired Michigan Wildlife Please to remove critters from our property for $2,000, and it was a complete waste of money. Not only did they fail to get rid of the animals, but the problem persists with no improvement. To make matters worse, they’ve completely ghosted us—no response to our calls or messages. Save your money and avoid this unprofessional, ineffective service. We’re beyond disappointed and still dealing with the same issue they promised to fix.
Provider response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your frustrating experience and sincerely apologize for the lack of communication you've received. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we want to make things right. We have 4 dedicated girls in the office for phone support and emails. We also have an after hours call center.

We'd like to investigate what happened with your specific case and find a solution. Please reach out with your name and the service address so we can locate your account and address your concerns directly. Extremely expensive for quantity of work done. Would not use again. One trap set and two visits cost $700. We agreed to terms, so we legally own mistake but never using again.
Provider response
Dear Mike,

Thank you for your review. We're truly sorry that you found our services to be extremely expensive for the work performed and that you wouldn't consider using us again. We understand your concerns regarding the cost for one trap set and two visits.

Our pricing reflects the expertise, time, and resources involved in resolving pest issues, which often includes more than just the physical visit, such as follow-up assessments, specialized equipment, and ensuring long-term solutions.

We appreciate that we agreed to terms, but we'd still like the opportunity to discuss your experience further and ensure you feel heard. Manal Ali
They quoted me $8,000 for a 900 sq ft attic restoration. I was expecting half of that and that’s still a lot of money. And they repeatedly asked me if I’m going through my insurance.
Provider response
Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent estimate. We understand your concern about the quoted price for insulation services.
While we strive to offer competitive pricing, the cost of materials has unfortunately doubled in recent years, necessitating adjustments to our estimates. Our comprehensive insulation process involves significantly more than simply replacing old insulation. We utilize premium materials such as Fiberlock insulation, HEPA vacuum bags, and air purification equipment to ensure optimal results and maintain a safe working environment. These materials, coupled with increased labor costs, contribute to the overall cost of the project.
To ensure transparency and avoid any surprises, we provide complimentary inspections and detailed estimates upfront. This allows our clients to make informed decisions without any obligation.
We value your feedback and will continue to refine our communication processes to ensure clarity and address any concerns proactively.
We appreciate your understanding.

UPDATE: DESPITE THE OWNER STATING HE WOULD BE REACHING OUT TO US A WEEK AGO, STILL NO WORD FROM MICHIGAN WILDLIFE SOLUTIONS. THEIR TRAPS REMAIN IN OUR ATTIC WITH NO SQUIRRELS CAUGHT, THREE TRAPS ON OUR ROOF (AGAIN WITH NO SQUIRRELS CAUGHT). NO MENTION OF A REFUND FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOB. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. WE ARE SO DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR LACK OF CONCERN OR DILIGENCE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. AT THIS POINT, WE DO NOT WANT THEM IN OUR HOUSE OR ON OUR PROPERTY AS THEY ARE NOT TRUSTED. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Working with this company was the worst experience. We paid half down on June 8. The agreement was that the balance would be paid once the squirrels were removed from the attic and entryways were sealed. Traps (5) were set in the attic and one trap on the roof. We were told that someone would come every 7-10 days to check traps in the attic (this NEVER happened). We caught one squirrel on the roof on June 11 and MWS came out on June 13 to remove it and reset the trap. On June 14, we had another squirrel in the trap on the roof. Meanwhile, when they came to remove these squirrels on 6/13 and 6/14, they never went into the attic to check those traps. On June 17, Cody came to remove the squirrel from the trap. I told him at the time via text that the smaller red squirrels ignored the traps and walked right past them and into our attic. Cody texted back, "Yes I have a small one of those conibears for red squirrels on me with my truck, I’m also going to move those snap ones closer to the opening I thought I had a bigger one for larger squirrels on my truck too but I don’t so I’ll just make sure it’s notes to have someone bring back a bigger one of the conibears that way it’s covered from large and small squirrels." No more squirrels were ever trapped. We asked about this numerous times. On June 17, I emailed MSW and told them: "We have about five traps set in our attic and two on the roof. So far we have gotten two larger squirrels on the roof. I have noticed the smaller red squirrels near the traps on the roof but they are not taking the bait. There is a lot of noise up in the attic still and it sounds like nuts are rolling around as they run around up there. Also, it rained a lot last night and wondering if the traps on the roof are viable at this point or are filled with water where the peanut butter is. Is there another type of trap that might lure the small squirrels who are going in and out of the attic?" Their response: "We can certainly have someone out to check on the exterior traps, there is one other type of trap that we use that we would typically set over the entry point to the squirrels will step on it when they enter or exit, I am not sure if it is something they would be able to use with your property but I will have them take a look. Sometimes it unfortunately just takes time before we will catch them." On June 18, MSW charged our card for the remaining balance that we agreed together would be paid once the work was done. The work was nowhere near done. I called and complained about this and the next day, they refunded our money. On June 20, Bennett finally came to check the attic traps. There were no squirrels in the traps. He suggested possibly a different type of bait and said they could try that. On June 25, a tech returned to set a couple of other traps but never looked in the attic. That was the last time anyone came back. They emailed us an invoice a few more times for the remaining balance which we did not pay but they never returned and the traps are still in our attic and on our roof (no squirrels) and the squirrels are running rampant in the attic. This is an extremely unprofessional operation. There was no way that my husband and I were going to pay the balance if they hadn't finished the work. This is a horrible company with bad business practices and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
Provider response
We sincerely apologize for the negative experience you've had, Suzanne. Your feedback is very concerning, and we take this matter seriously. I bought there bat exclusion services back in 2021 and it came with a 5 year warranty. So far the bats have never been excluded, I still have the exclusion doors on my house. I have sent them emails this year but not heard back from them even though I'm still in warranty. Tyler has always been the primary tech and when he came I feel like he didn't look that hard to find where they are coming in. 2k for a few tubes of silicone and bats still in the attic/basement . Never pointed out any real issues, and argued with me when I said the I seen a bat that entered in the basement flew into low points of the house.
Provider response
We're sorry to hear about your experience, Linuxfox00. We will surely address this issue as our customer's satisfaction is our utmost priority. Furthermore, your feedback is valuable in helping us improve our services. We hope to resolve this issue promptly to regain your trust.
Tmac Jefferson
They have provided zero results to my problem and then want to charge me additional money to actually get the job done. I am 100% dis pleased with their policies. I have paid $600 to them to get zero results. Not one critter caught! I personally feel like I was taking advantage of because I am a single woman possibly.
Provider response
We're sorry to hear about your experience, Tmac. We always strive to provide the best service to our clients and achieve satisfactory results. We'll thoroughly review the policies and face the necessary consequences for any shortcomings. We value all our customers and treat them equally without differentiation. We apologize for any discontentment you may have experienced.
Denise Henderson
Unfortunately, there was no coordinated plan to trap the ground hogs. Traps were removed and not replaced unless I called to have another one placed. I gave up calling a month before the so-called service contract ended. No value for the money.
Provider response
Dear Denise,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced with our ground hog trapping service. We regret that there was a lack of coordination in our approach and that traps were not consistently replaced without your initiation. Your feedback is crucial for us to improve our services, and we will take immediate steps to ensure better communication and efficiency in our trapping procedures. We understand the importance of providing value for the money spent and are committed to rectifying this issue. If there's anything else we can do to make amends, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Best regards,
Joe Willis
President
Murphy Bean
They had to come back 3 times because they cannot plan properly. They broke a truss in my attic and said they will not be responsible for the repair. They didnt show me any photos of completed work and they charged my card without approval. FRAUD
Provider response
Dear Murphy,

We're truly sorry to hear about your negative experience with our service, and we appreciate your feedback. We take customer feedback seriously, as it helps us improve our services and ensure a better experience for all our clients.

First and foremost, we apologize for the inconvenience you faced due to the multiple visits to address the issue. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we are reviewing our internal processes to ensure better planning and execution in the future.

Regarding the broken truss in your attic, we understand your concern. Our team needs to walk on the trusses in the attic and use supporting trusses to grab onto while navigating your attic. We cannot be responsible for damaged trusses as they should not be so week to break just from using them to navigate your attic. We reccommend you get all of your trusses checked, because they need to be strong enough to support your home. This is precisely why we don't screen vents from inside the attic. All vents are to be screened from the exterior of the home. We apologize for any miscommunication or misunderstanding that may have occurred during your interaction with our staff.

In terms of the lack of photos of completed work, all of the repairs are visible, and if you would like a walk through to show you what we have completed we would be more than welcome to do so.

Lastly, the charge on your card is standard practice. We take a deposit up front and on completion of the work we run your credit card for the remaining balance. This is listed in our contract.

We take allegations of fraud very seriously, and we want to assure you that we have not commited any fraud. We completed everything on your contract and provided you with a warranty backing up our repairs.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced, and we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our services for the future.

Sincerely,

Joe Willis (President)
Michigan Wildlife Solutions
