Natural Way Lawn and Tree Service

This company has an employee that came to fertilize my neighbors yard and to access the side of the house decides to come through my property. I was out in my yard at the time, he ignores me completely until I inquire why he’s on my property (I have kids playing there). He starts off in a condescending tone (swearing profusely) and then berates me for not allowing him to cut through. I ask him to get off my property as he’s clearly not capable of having a civilized conversation he starts threatening me. I have the whole conversation on video surveillance. If you use this company, be aware you are using a company who has at least one employee who does not know how to behave with your neighbors, and even threaten them.

This week Natural Way treated my neighbor’s lawn, and inexplicably treated my lawn as well. They overshot the property line by at least 12 feet. It is clear that we had just planted grass seed and should have had no treatment applied. Office staff said nobody should have been applying treatment on the day in question due to windy weather conditions. The manager, Clinton, has not returned my calls or email to let me know exactly what my lawn was treated with. Kids and pets use our yard, and no products should be applied without my consent. If Natural Way is letting this slide, what else are they letting slide?

Had to cancel my service as treatments were ineffective and I have a yard full of weeds. Also, I was charged for sq footage that is not being treated due to landscaping because the satellite photo they used was at least 3 years old. They claim nutsedge and other grass like weeds require a special treatment or to be dug out, but even so, I have clover and other weeds all over. I expected a weed free lawn, and it looks worse than when I did it. I’m sure excuses will come, but I’m just over it.

Auto renewal on new year that I didn't ask for. Never using again for untrustworthy business practice.

This company needs to educate themselves on the laws, and the proper way of applying pesticides to a property. Today was the second time I was mowing a lawn when their technition decides to pull up and fertilize and apply a pesticide on the same lawn I'm working on. I asked her not to do the multiple properties I was working on at the moment, but she decided to go ahead and continue, and at one point even drove right past me with her machine while I was mowing. I let the 1st one slide with a call to the office but since this is a continuous problem, this one will be reported to the Department of Agriculture for an investigation. It's not that hard to follow simple safety precautions.

Shady company. Claimed they mailed a letter to renew my service, and I didn't respond, so they automatically renewed for the year without proving a message or email. Then they show up and leave a bill. My contract from last year says it wouldn't be renewed for a year, which hasn't happened yet. Service wasn't up to expectations last summer so I hired a different company for this year.

Have been a customer for several years, always been happy with the services, and the "day before " call so I can make sure all dog toys are off the grass.

In the fall of 2023, Natural Way Lawn performed aeration services on my property and, unfortunately, caused damage with their machinery. I promptly contacted the company, and they sent someone to assess the situation while I was not at home. The area manager left a note at my door, stating he observed no damage. When they reached out for payment, I insisted that I would not settle the bill until the damages were adequately addressed. They agreed to have the area manager follow up, but he failed to resolve the issue. I have photographic and video evidence of the damage, including footage of an employee colliding with my fence. Despite this, my attempts to address the situation were met with multiple calls from the company, not to rectify the damage but to demand payment for the service. They even left several threatening voicemails, stating they would send my account to collections, contradicting their agreement to withhold payment until the matter was resolved. Eventually, I paid the invoice to cease the collection calls, but this marks the second instance of property damage by their team in two years. I am now taking steps through various channels to highlight this neglect and seek a resolution. I insist on having my property restored to its original condition, prior to any damage caused by their services. I have submitted a formal complaint with the BBB and will update if we can come to a resolution.

My Lawn was full of weeds and lot of patches last year. But once Natural Way Lawn started maintaining my Lawn, No weeds at all and Lawn is green in all the areas. Thanks so much

Poor service very bad job

I've been a Natural Way customer for years and they have always been reliable, timely, and professional. When I have called with questions or issues they have handled them right away which has even included sending people to the house. My lawn and trees look way better than when I tried to do all the feeding and treatments myself!

The grass looked 100% better after contracting them. I was embarrassed to live in the house before Natural Way got involved. You can't beat the value and quality they provide. Thanks again Natural Way team!

I was referred to Natural Way by our Landscape/Gardner. I spoke with Preston/Natural Way in length about our concerns with our lawn as it had not been tended to very well the spring/summer prior to 2023. Preston did a great job coming up with a plan to treat all areas of concern. There was much improvement this season (it was in bad shape) and I expect next season we will see our lawn looking as beautiful as it had in the past. This company is easy to do business with. Online payments have been easy and they are very receptive to questions with quick response time. Highly recommend!
