I have used CJB for many of my rentals and my own home spray to handle centipede and spider problems , The technician Tony showed up and explained everything and I learned so much in the time he spent taking care of the service… He did a detailed inspection of the perimeter, garage and backyard, I love how they used pet-friendly products, which was a huge relief. Within a day or two the entire home was bug-free, I tell everyone it’s the best money spent ! And I would never miss my Seasonal spray ! Highly recommend for anyone looking for high-quality pest control and amazing workers like Tony !!! Helped carry in my groceries when he saw me struggling to carry more then I could handle… I even gift sprays out now for Father’s Day to my dad and birthday gift to my brother ;)

Called for an estimate on pest control in summer. There were several issues that needed to be addressed. Tech recommended fixing some small access areas and also suggested bait in the attic but after a discussion on new blown in insulation in the attic that they would just open the access panel and throw in the bait. Also the temp that day was too hot for the tech to get back on the roof to fix some of the areas and said they would have the office call to schedule it. They never called back. Reached out to the office and they said they would have someone get back. Again no response. Sent and email and finally talked to someone. Indicated we wanted to only go through with the repairs and not the bait in the attic. Also said the money we paid for the tech to come out would not be used toward the cost as we were previously told because we didn’t have the work done that day. The tech could not complete the work due to the heat which we understood. Individual I was talking to indicated they would see if they can make an exception and sent me over the agreement to sign. It had the repairs, bait in attic (after we said we wouldn’t go through with that), and didn’t see the reduction in cost from the original estimate. Emailed back and no response. Very disappointed in the response and understanding what the customers needs were. Got the impression the job wasn’t big enough for them to make it worth their while. Would not recommend.

I used this company on two separate occasions. Both times they provided 5 star services and results. I saw 5 star reviews for all the national companies and CJB. But, it was obvious to me that the national company’s reviews were all BS because they had 5 star google reviews and horrible Yelp reviews (1 to 2 star yelp reviews). Have CJB Pest providing a mosquito spraying service for a few years now. Very pleased with the service. I’ve switched once to a bit lower price company for 1 season. Was not worth it. Service not the same as CJB. Had to call a technician back within a week after a service to spray again. Never had that issue with CJB Pest Control. Decided to go back to CJB and their services. They helped me 3 times with Yellow Jacket nests removal as well. Looking forward to the next season with CJB Pest. I highly recommend CJB Pest & Mosquito Control.

I find it ironic that they have a bee as part of their logo, because I called them about a bee issue and they refused to help. They wouldn't even come out and take a look at the situation, they told me that the bees would be dead in November. That doesn't help me get my yard work done now. They were of no help at all, and didn't seem to care- they couldn't even be bothered to recommend a solution. What a joke. I went to the store and bought 2 bottles of wasp spray and Im pretty sure I took care of the situation myself. Thanks for nothing!

Francisco is a freaking Super Hero! I have been plagued by a wasp nest hidden in the soffit next to my doorwall most of the summer. I feeblily tried to rectify the situation myself, which only seemed to make them mad. Could not walk out on my back deck without being accosted. And yes, I could hear them through the wall in my dining room.Our HOA management company contacted CJB Pest and they sent Francisco out the next day. I got stung several times that morning trying to move my herb planters out of the way. He assured me that they will soon be dead. He went right up there and went to work. He warned me not to got there for a few days in case some of them would be out there fearful and mad unable to enter the nest. But, no wasps since he left. I haven't seen a single wasp flying around. Zero. I couldn't be happier and yes Francisco is my super hero.

CJB was out today for pest control. Noah showed up and told me how he was going to address the ant problem. I walked around the house with him and he explained the treatment. Next he treated the perimeter of the house - which completed the treatment. He then pointed out several things i should do to eliminate entry points for the ants. Lastly, he explained what to watch for over the next several weeks. This is the second time I have hired them (unrelated issues) and both times I was satisfied with their work.

Update: I have used this company for over 4yrs. Last year, 2023, the man that came out during a time when I was in the hospital from surgery. Later in the summer again not home because I was going through treatment at the cancer center 1 hour away at Beaumont Royal Oak. No issies other than having them come out a second time because the issue wasn’t addressed properly the first time. I notified them of that and they said they would come back out. I never knew this was issue with the company. I had explained I used over dozen cans of wasp killer and sprayed myself. This is why they came out a second time. I called a couple days ago to set up services again for spring/summer 2024. Today Mike called me back, while I was at cancer center get infusion, decided to cut me off and wouldn’t let me say a word. Was aggressive and rude! Mike told me that the companies tech person said “I amitted to abusing their warranty for Wasp/Bees. And from now on I would be charged for full service calls. No warranty on their services!” I tried to explain to Mike I was not home either time, in the hospital having surgery first time and at cancer center getting treatment 2nd time they came out last year, and have security cameras. Couldn’t tell them about issues with tech and the constant issues. Requested to speak with owner. Recieved a 2nd call from Vicki who decided to be rude, nasty, and hateful from start. Refused have owner call me. I recorded the call because of this rude hateful behavior today especially while getting infusion treatment. The company has become a hostile and hateful company. That does not back up their warranty and does not do the services they are hired for. I had to repeatedly spray can and can floss and be killer all over my house last year. I had never had to do this previously in years past. But of course, they have hired new tech that weren’t even spraying the house and barrier like they should have which I could clearly see from my security cameras in the hospital. I will not be using their services any longer. Chronically ill patient who just had my 14th surgery. The owner wasn’t available. This is disgusting behavior and fruad from the company. This is the 2nd year in a row I've used CBJ for Bee and Wasp control. I'm severally allergic so they made every effort to come out prior to the scheduled date. Even though they didn't get an earlier cancelation this year, waiting 2.5wks wasn't that bad of a wait. The guys that come out are on time (typically even early), professional, and thorough. They guarantee the product and have come back out last year for a repeat spray right away when wasp came back. I really like this company and will continue to use them. I even recommend them to friends and neighbors.

*Since they responded, I will edit to add that someone was sent to my house a couple hours AFTER I posted this review. Coincidence, I'm sure. We removed the squirrel from the trap ourselves; I should have asked for them to pay me the $65 they charge per squirrel.* Absolute fail, please look elsewhere for squirrel control. We had a squirrel dig into our walls. The initial call and trap setting service was fine. They say they will come collect a squirrel from a cage, even on Saturday, just give them a call. Total lie. Our first call was around 9am and we spoke to someone who said he would call back with a time to collect the squirrel. Meanwhile, the squirrel is alive, in a cage on top of our garage, just outside of our patio door. Did I sign up for a trapping service? Yes. Did I sign up to watch a squirrel die of thirst and exhaustion on top of my roof? Hell no. We called at least 5 times during the day asking them to come collect the poor thing from the trap. After that first call, we only got voicemail boxes. We tried several different phone numbers, and finally found one that lead to a different answering service who informed us that oops, it's four minutes past 2pm, the office is now closed and we can't help you. We ended up freeing the squirrel to burrow into our walls another day, and asking the answering service to come get their junk off my roof. After they get a chunk of change from your wallet, CJB does not follow through with their promises. Please spend your money elsewhere.

This review is based on CJB’s marketing techniques not their service. I have not used their service and cannot speak to it. I began receiving unsolicited emails from an employee at CJB a few weeks ago asking if i was interested in their services. My practice is not to respond to unsolicited emails from companies. The employee has continued to email me every few days which I find inappropriate. I believe he simply discovered my email address on my companies website.

We do not charge just to quote any of our services. We give the price over the phone and schedule services with you on the same call. If you are referring to an inspection, we do charge to come out for the initial inspection so that we can give you the total cost for service and repairs. If you decide to move forward with service and repairs after the initial inspection, we waive the inspection fee to just charge you for the cost of treatment and repairs. <br>All services are quoted over the phone FREE OF CHARGE, unless we have to send a technician out to access the situation by performing an inspection. I did not receive the service I requested. Technician = wonderful and courteous Salesman = poor communication skills As the subject matter experts they did not ask the right questions nor establish the proper expectations. They treated the wrong infestation, had no intent of returning to the property for follow up/trap removal. When I called to discuss the miscommunication, no accountability was taken nor was there any intent to remedy the situation. I later found toxic pellets throughout my bedroom (attic access point), after being assured that all products were enclosed and safe for pets/children. I will be seeking assistance elsewhere.

When you originally spoke with our customer service representative, he was under the impression that you were dealing with mice, not raccoons. We sent our technician out for the mice treatment, which was indeed needed on your property. We were then going to follow up with you about the raccoons and the trapping that we could do for you. In order to trap for the raccoons, we HAVE to get rid of the mice first, which normally takes about two weeks. After we are sure that the mice are eradicated from the property, we can then come into trap for the raccoons. After reaching out, you had declined the service for following up with the raccoons. <br>Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication, but we did unfortunately have to take care of the mice issue before the raccoons. <br><br>As far as the pellets in the bedroom, we are unsure how that happened because baits are placed in tamper proof containers, to ensure that this doesn't happen. I was just at Menards in Lavonia. Saturday afternoon, October 16th. A truck from CJB pulled up beside me and the driver got out and stood behind his door and urinated on the parking lot. When he was finished, he got back into the truck and drove off. Disgusting and unprofessional!

Most embarrassing representation of a buisness I’ve ever dealt with. The guy who answered the phone had the absolute worst attitude. Felt like I was arguing with someone the whole time. Extreamly unprofessional. Unbelievable prices. Which is fine if the service is unbelievable. But i didn’t even make it that far before I was basically interigated and insulted using profanity of which is commonly used to describe a female dog. I wish I was kidding. Could be a half decent company but I wouldn’t know. Because the customer service is a absolute joke. I feel bad I have to give you one star to let people know how terrible this experience was! On top of the fact you have barley 40 reviews and are claiming to be a experienced company. Pathetic!!

have an animal that keeps digging into my yard. The only thing they did setting up a small trap in the yard. They follow up every week and what they do is just moving the trap around. they charge $155 for it and never caught anything, I called and they were like we can't do anything more. btw, the animal kept digging next to the trap and never went inside. regardless the other reviews, this company is a joke when it comes to these type of situations.
