I highly recommend Biggins Exterminating! We discovered two wasp nests and called Steve, who gave us a quote and came out to treat them the very next morning. He even followed up the next day to completely remove and make sure the area was clear. While he was here, he noticed a few additional holes around our deck which we gladly hired him to seal up to avoid other future pest issues. We will absolutely be calling him for any future exterminating needs!

I've been using Biggins since 2016 and highly recomend this local, family-owned, reliable business. While inspecting my home for mice, Steve found active termite damage. He installed outside termite stations around the house. The stations are checked every year and new bait installed. In 2021 I found an underground wasp nest. Steve came out the next morning and exterminated the wasps and was extra careful not to damage the goldfish in my small pond. SusanP

If you’re looking for the best exterminator in the area, look no further! Steve Biggins went above and beyond for us during a difficult time. We needed mice exterminated quickly and he was super responsive, patient with my questions, worked within our timeline and did a very thorough job addressing the issue. We could tell he really cared about a successful outcome, and the outcome was very successful - no more mice! We also used him for an ant issue in the past, and that experience was equally wonderful. 10 stars - Biggins is the best!

Biggins is fantastic! They have done wasp/hornet removal for me at a couple of places I’ve lived at. This latest time was just a few weeks ago. I called in the morning and Steve Sr. was able to come out later that day. It worked out great for me as I was heading out of town for a few days and I wasn’t sure how much progress the yellow jackets were going to make on their nest while I was gone. Steve approached it by spraying from the outside on the first day, then coming back a few days later to remove the nest, which was inside the attic. He then sealed up the hole they had used to get inside so that no more wasps (or anything else) could get in. It was important to me that the job was done right and quickly as random wasps had started to make their way into my house, which was NOT okay. My daughter is allergic to wasps, so this problem needed to be solved ASAP. I felt confident with Steve’s assessment of the situation and his plan for the removal. While he was here, he also provided information about another pest problem that I inquired about. He looked around my yard, advised me about potential problem areas, looked for droppings, and told me about what to look out for. He did not try to push me into a service or treatment for that issue but rather told me that it didn’t seem to be an issue and just to keep my eyes open for any trouble in the future. He told me ways to curb the potential for a problem and to call him with any questions. He was honest and didn’t try to scam me into a service he didn’t feel I needed. Biggins Bug Extermination exceeded all my expectations From the moment I called their customer service was friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive. They scheduled an appointment quickly and arrived right on time. The technician was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything he was doing, including the specific pests he found and how he planned to eliminate them. I appreciated the thorough inspection and the care they took to treat my home without using overly harsh chemicals. Within days, I noticed a significant improvemennt no more ants in my kitchen or little crawlys in my sight

My parents were looking for a pest control company for the Ant problem they wers having I did my research and decided to go with Biggins because of the amazing reviews they have on Google, Yelp, Facebook, Angie's list ect. Biggins told us they would be here between 8:30-9am Steve was here at 8:30 on the dot, Steve explained everything.., he is very nolagable Steve applied a gel bait where my parents were seeing lots of ants and the treated the foundation we haven't seen an ant since. No high pressure sales, no contracts only charged for the issue we were having. After hiring Biggins I understand why they have the 5 star rating they have. Extremely pleased

I found a large yellow jacket nest under my deck on a Saturday and called Biggins who had a person answering the line to take info. Got a callback Sunday, and treatment on that Monday. Great fast service!

Not only did they come out to address the hornets nest I called about, they did a thorough check of my yard (and found two additional nests I had not known about). I was so grateful they took the time to do this, as one nest was in our children's swing set area we had not noticed. Very thorough job, explained everything clearly, very pleasant to work with and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

We were dealing with 2x different issues (carpenter ants and yellow jackets inside of the house) and Biggins was amazing at their responsiveness, the quality of the products they use to treat the situations (so that it's not an ongoing problem to treat continuously like many other exterminators who use inferior products) and what was a very fair price, particularly given how long they warrantied the work afterward. Having dealt with a number of different exterminators over the years, I think they are some of the most honest, thorough, and genuinely thoughtful people I have ever dealt with. Grateful for the work that they have done and how good they are doing it. Call these guys instead of any of the brand name chains and you'll be glad you did.

I have used Steve and Biggins Exterminating on my house and my garage for multiple types of pests (carpenter ants, yellow jackets, etc…). He knows his stuff! and has eliminated the problem each time. In world where every company seems to be some corporate entity where the staff barely knows the basics, a family business where you actually get the guy who has been doing it for 40 years is a good find! Looking to take care of a mouse infestation at my father's house, I researched exterminators . After speaking with a few different companies, I determined that Biggins Exterminating, although a bit more expensive, offered the most thorough and comprehensive eradication techniques. Several companies offered only bait boxes and when I expressed concern about a pet cat getting one of the poisoned mice, I was told "We recommend taking the cat to a vet". When I asked Steve Biggins, he said there was an option for a less lethal poison which would not harm birds or a pet but after a few feedings, would kill the mice; the choice was clear - Biggins Exterminating Co. Steve also offered filling of mouse accessible openings which others did not. Extremely knowledgeable, Steve not only went over in great detail, what he would do to rid the house of mice and prevent new mice from entering, he also showed consideration and understanding of my concern for the well being of the cat. Steve and his son Steve came to the house the morning after I contacted them. They were thorough, considerate (they wore blue booties) very pleasant to speak with and efficient. Steve will be back in a week to collect the traps and place bait boxes, which will contain the less lethal poison so as to protect the cat from a potential mouse capture. Steve and I discussed a possible termite issue over the phone. He asked for a picture. He explained that it was a pavement ant and that I should vacuum them up and it would only be temporary. He stated they were probably coming in the basement at the baseboard and I should seal it. Great service! -Brian Johnston

Just had our yearly ant control application and just can't say enough about how much we appreciate Biggins Exterminating! Since we started using their yearly service we have not seen one ant, not one, inside. Steve Biggins is super knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all my questions. Their price was very reasonable and they warranty their service for one year, with only one application. It works great! They came out the day after I called, were punctual (to the minute) for arrival time, and very thorough, they even sprayed our sheds. Highly recommend this local, family owned business!

Steve was the right choice for our mice issue and I can't recommend Biggins Exterminating enough! Not only was his response time fast, his knowledge is immense and his pricing is very fair. He found the root of the problem on day one and provided the steps to resolve the issue. He even recommended a mason who could do some necessary masonry work; that mason is also someone I would highly recommend! I could go on about how great Steve is, so if you need an exterminator give him a call!

I searched online and found national chains but was disappointed with the subscription model's high cost and sales pitch. I availed of Biggins Pest Control services for mouse & ant control in 2020, and I did not see anything in the house until the house needed repairs in 2024 and the mice could find the way. I was so glad to find Stephen again. Stephen is reasonably priced; you get what you need, and there are no sales pitches. More importantly, it is a small, local business, and the owner is invested in it. It is always good to connect with local companies who care for their customers, like family. This time, I saved his contact number and will surely call him in the future whenever the need arises.

Steve Jr. came by my house a couple of years ago because we found mouse droppings in my daughter’s playroom. He came over and explained the entire process to me and was super knowledgeable and professional. Come to find out, we had several “entry points” for field mice. Steve Jr. got every one of them and sealed up EVERY entry point. It’s been 8 years since we moved here and we haven’t seen one mouse since. I also ran into Steve Jr. at a Halloween party recently and he was extremely friendly so I decided to leave this honest review of my experience with Biggins Exterminating. Steve was amazing, personable, responsive. Very knowledgeable when it came to our mice issue, knew exactly where they were entering and exiting catching 13 in about 2 weeks. Highly recommend.

We had 100s of bees in our basement. Biggins came in and took care of the nest and the bees. The nest was in a tight space and it took hours. They were sure to clean out the whole nest. We are extremely grateful for the precision and dedication of time to really make sure our home was safe.
