Molloy Lawn & Landscape

I would not recommend Molloy Landscaping to anyone, and I am sorry I chose them for my sod installer. I had my sod installed last May and I signed up for the year of treatments in order to get the sod warranty. They sent one worker to my property (who didn't speak English) to prep the lawn and install the sod all by himself. I don't feel the prep was done properly and the sod started browning and dying along the seams. They were supposed to do seven treatments under the maintenance plan and only did three. I made multiple email and phone call attempts to Molloy to address this problem, with no results. There supervisor, Brice came out once to check the sod and told me that it should return to normal, but they would keep an eye on it. He never came back nor did he return any messages that I left him. I also signed up for the treatment plan for this year, but none have been done yet. This company has very poor customer service and their warranty is worthless. Buyer Beware!

We had a very positive experience with Molloy. I was able to schedule an estimate quickly. Bryce came and did our estimate - he was great to work with and very quick response time with the estimate and via email with any questions that I had. The Spring clean up was excellent, quality and thorough work.

This is my 2nd year using the “Fall clean up”. Bryce came to my property and did something magical. Sometime between 9:00 and 11:30 Bryce and his team from Malloy came and went like a thief in the night. I came home around 11:45 and Not one leaf was there. The entire property looked immaculate. All of the leaves came down early this year and with the insane amount of leaves to clean around the holidays it can be unbearable for one person to do. That’s why I tried Molloy last year and again this year. I will be using them indefinitely. Also I have used them for year round lawn care, fertilizer treatments, lawn aeration, and over seeding treatments. My lawn has looked beautiful and deep dark healthy green. I highly recommend Molloy for your lawn care or fall/winter cleanup. THIS IS AN UPDATE for 2026: Again, Molloy comes through with thorough service and meticulous details to my lawn. They have excellent communication via text messaging, Cizy will call and give updates or I’ll call and she promptly picks up the phone. Communication is huge. I usually use their service throughout the year both various fertilizer applications and aeration and seeding in the fall. My lawn is super green and looks vibrant. Can’t beat Molloy!

Malloy did a great job with the spring clean up. Came in at a great price, and was very happy with the work they did. Removed all the leftover leaves, edged all the grass areas and did some weeding.

The crew at Molloy Lawn & Landscape went above and beyond my expectations! They completed a deep spring cleaning and thoroughly cleaned and made an amazing overhaul of my backyard. Very detailed and meticulous. Professional and cleaned everything before completed. I highly recommend them!!

After I signed up, they were out the next week to start my lawn service. I am very happy with the work they have done so far. First time using them and won’t be coming back. Asked from the time of our initial estimate to give us a heads up before they come because we have a dog who hangs out in the backyard. They have now showed up three times without any sort of heads up. Fortunately, so far I have caught them before they open our back gate. My dog has never been aggressive, but no one loves an 80 pound unknown dog running at them. I would think that they would want to give their employees more safety, and make sure that they’re aware of what they’re walking into. We were told repeatedly (called twice after they showed up with no call) that we would receive a text the night before but didn’t. Additionally, because I had no heads up that they were coming, and no timeline of when they might show up during the month, we had left dog toys out in the back yard that were all thrown away. There’s no way that they weren’t seen before they were thrown away as they were large toys. That really makes me more mad than the lack of communication and this, overall, has been a disappointing experience. They finally showed up today without any heads up. Because they did the spring cleanup a few weeks ago, all of the edging looks a total mess after several heavy rains with no mulch on it. The mulch was poorly applied and spread and looks totally messy; not a good job cleaning up when they were done. I used to own a landscaping company with my late husband and if our guys left anything looking like this, they’d be right back out there to fix it. Really disappointing job for >$2000

John & team completely redid our yard from ripping out the old grass, leveling the yard, installing a channel drain and even removed an old cement walkway. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of work and would highly recommend them!

Sent an email from their website asking that someone stop by and look our lawn over for aeration + overseeding for this year and regular lawn fertilization and weed control for next year. Cizy from their office emailed me and we set up an appointment for September 11 – someone from Molloy stopped by (I cannot remember his name) on that day and looked everything over. He was a very nice guy and sounded very knowledgeable about lawns, treatments, etc. and left assuring me that he would have an estimate to me later that day. So a couple days go by and I haven’t heard from the company so I call the office and Cizy informs me that the guy is working on the proposal and should have it to me the next day. So 2-3 more days go by and I get an email with the estimates for all the services I asked about. I call the office to schedule aeration and overseeding, speak with Cizy again and am told that it may take over a month for them to get to my house. Well, OK but I don’t want to wait that long since it will probably be really cold out then and I doubt that grass seed grows well when the temps drop quite a bit overnight and could she tell me definitively when someone would be able to come out for the overseeding + aeration. Cizy tells me that the person who does the scheduling is not in the office that day and would it be OK if they call me the next day and give me a firm date for the work. That’s no problem so I agree to wait till the next day. So that next day has turned into over three weeks and I’m still waiting for someone from Molloy Lawn & Landscaping to contact me with a date – when the phone wasn’t ringing I knew it was Molloy L&L not calling! Of course I found another company to do the work (one that responded promptly to my emails and phone calls). Not sure what the problem is at Molloy – maybe they are too big, or disorganized or they just aren’t interested in obtaining a new customer. Maybe all three! Seems to me that when you have a potential customer looking for services that your company provides, you should do everything in your power to ensure all their questions are promptly answered so they will sign up for your services! I remember thinking that if Molloy L&L treats me like this before I sign on and give them my money, how will they treat me after they have my money? I did not like the answer that I envisioned for that question!

I was a customer for a few years. Service is decent once they show up but you could never get a response if you needed to reach them about pretty much anything. The owner reached out, but every year the problem recurred. I moved to a more responsive landscaper who is also better priced.

Malloy has ghosted us! They did a great job in Fall 2023 to restore a small lawn and fed all of our shrubs but when I asked them to come back for some specific tasks (mostly relocating a few shrubs) they never got back to us. Bryce Malloy came out in March 2024 to look at the work we wanted to have done this spring and never got back to me with an estimate. I have called once/week since the end of March with NO REPLY. Office staff told me that Bryce didn’t have our email address (which I sent to them several times) but Malloy’s marketing department has managed to send me many emails/week.
