I have known Jonathan for quite some time now, and he has become a member of our family! His knowledge, service, thoughtfulness, work ethic, and true sincerity is second to none, and no doubt his promotion to Service Manager is a direct reflection of Mainely Grass’s clear understanding of his value to the company. I fully expect to work closely with Mainely Grass for many more years, and know that I can count on Jonathan as well as your other staff members to always be there for our property care! We have been doing our lawn (mowing & fertilizing) for over 15 years and enjoyed every bit of our time on it. Sadly our aging body has slowed us down and our neighbor recommended us to Mainely Grass Lawn Care. We are absolutely thrilled to be working with the staff at Mainely Grass Lawn Care: Kristen Morneau was fabulous and she explained all the services Mainely Grass Lawn Care offers. Hayleigh Perkins, Account Manager is responsive in all my communications whenever we may have questions about what Mainely Grass will be doing on the day they are on our property to service our lawn care. Hayleigh is pleasant and she is such a joy to work with. Daniel Rojas, lawn technician, is extremely knowledgable about lawn care; he works with his customers and he explains everything he will be doing to our lawn. Since having Mainely Grass do our lawn care starting late summer of this year: (fertilizing, aeration/overseeding and final stage-winterizing), our lawn has come back to where it should look like - plush and healthy. We are extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Mainely Grass Lawn Care.

Mainly Grass has been fantastic. I use the service ant multiple properties snd appreciate the proactive approach to their service that is supported by the detailed analysis from each treatment. My technicians (Dan Rojas and Jimmy Welch) always do an amazing job.

I chose Mainely grass for overseeding/aeration services in the spring based on reviews. The aeration service was excellent, they didnt miss a spot in the yard. However the seeding portion of the service was not effective, my grass is as thin as it was before I paid them to overseed which suprised me since they seem to have a solid track record. They did provide the seeding service a day before a week-long rainstorm which was unusual for the area. In hindsight I would of went for their fall overseeding service (for any future customers!).

Excellent customer service. They go above and beyond. They have rescue my horrible lawn, and made it a lawn to be proud of. I highly recommend their service.

We're on our second year with Mainely Grass at our home in Medford. Our technician, Daniel Rojas, has done an excellent job in making our grass look great by making the appropriate recommendations for lawn care. Each visit he makes sure to ring our bell and walk the yard with us to see if we have any questions or to point out anything he notices and somehow always has a good attitude regardless how hot it is out! We look forward to many more years with Daniel and Mainely guiding us on our lawn care needs.

4/2/24 Edward (CEO) and Will (Branch Manager) from Mainely Grass have reached out, and Will is working with me to try to make this right. I'll revisit this review again after sufficient time has passed, and provide a new rating based on the results. 3/23/24 We had a terrible experience with Mainely Grass. We used them for two plus seasons, at a cost of around $1,000/full season for our 1/4 acre or so lawn. We initially had a moss issue in a small part of the yard. We were told when we signed up that the lime treatments which were included in the cost would take care of the issue along with the aeration/over-seeding (an extra that we purchased). That was not the case, as the yard is now being over-run with moss. I emailed them, asking them to either correct the moss problem or cancel our service for the upcoming season and give us a refund. I had multiple email exchanges with one of their reps, Mike Flaherty. He said we should've taken them up on the lime "amendments" that they offer at an extra cost. It never crossed our minds that those amendments were required for us, as our invoice for the 2023 season indicated that "ph Maintenance" was free and we never received any additional lime-related invoices during the season. With each email response he refused to offer any kind of assistance and failed to address my cancellation/refund request. I finally called their office and spoke to Miranda, who was very nice. Although she couldn't rectify the situation, she canceled our service for the 2024 season, processed the refund immediately and said that she would communicate my concerns to management. This was a nightmare. I know the reviews are very good, and that was the main reason we went with Mainely Grass. Buyer beware though. We've thrown away thousands of dollars all told since we started with them, and to make matters worse we now have a large portion of our lawn to restore.

They do all their quotes etc over the phone so they didn't take the time to actually visit my lawn and evaluate it. As a result, there are still huge bare spots all over my lawn and the weeds are growing everywhere. Apparently if you want them to make the effort to come out and actually see the lawn to tailor your services to what you need, its $99. What a joke! Now I'm battling with them to get my $ back and will be contacting the attorney general and channel 7 news.

Service was good, but the gate was not locked after completion

There is nothing remotely exceptional about Mainely Grass or the service they offer, and somehow their prices continue to increase about 20% per year. Apparently, they believe once they have you as a customer, they can just keep obscenely increasing their prices, and that perhaps you won't notice? My advice is to find another company. There are countless companies in the lawncare business who aren't charging $1000 per season to spread fertilizer, and treat weeds!
