The tech was prompt, polite, and helpful. However, I paid $150 for a job I could do myself. There was evidence of mice behind my refrigerator. However, I was informed that the company does not move appliances for liability reasons. So, I, a 76 year-old, petite woman gave it a shot. Fortunately, I moved it far enough to get behind it and the tech advised me what to do, which I already knew. When I asked him how much it would have cost me for him to do it, he said it would have been double what I paid. I took care of the problem myself, but needed help to get my refrigerator back in place.

Amazing service! We had a yellow jacket nest in the ground of our backyard. One of my dogs ran over it today and kicked a lot of them up which in turn went after him and stung him a few times. I have another dog allergic so thankfully she did not get stung. I called the Berryville office and spoke with Lacy who was amazing to deal with! I explained my situation and she was able to get a technican out to me within an HOUR! I was so impressed! The tech came and treated and dug out the hive from the ground. He then treated the area. I am so grateful that you all assisted me so quickly! From the office staff to your techs-what a top notch company. Thank you again! I will definitely be using your services again in the future.

Ken Durling of Environmental Pest Control did such a great job inspecting the two entries that squirrels made into my soffits. His estimates made sense to me and they only addressed my issues. He gave me two options and, since I've seen no animals for over two months, I opted for closing the holes. I located his company in the Anne Arundel County Best Picks Report -- the other recommended company provided a proposal that included things I didn't need and which had no relevance to my issue. Their price was ridiculous. Bottom line -- I'm using Environmental Pest Control to fix my animal issues.

First of all, I can only imagine the five star reviews are paid. Look on yelp; this company consistently gets 1 star. Let’s hope no one ends up in the hospital or worse after using them. I’ve had a consistent issue with rodenticide literally pouring out of what should be highly contained bait boxes. Photos attached. Twice in a row poison has spilled and spread all over my property, posing a significant danger to children, pets and wildlife. Two of the bait boxes have experienced this issue. The kicker is when I contacted the office, panicked that poison was literally being blown all over the place, they downplayed the danger and told me just to hose it down. They then told me no one would be in the area for a week to address it so I would have to wait until it was convenient for them to address this hazard. It took hours of my calling and messaging saying this was unacceptable until I could get service faster on a day that was convenient for me. The tech came, simply refilled the bait boxes without investigating the cause (said maybe moisture got in and caused the bait to melt… mind you these are supposed to be all-weather outdoor containers designed to ensure no leakage, per EPA standards) and left. Not two days later bright pink poison was again all over the property instead of being safely encapsulated within the container. Meanwhile guess what? I still have mice in my home. I should have pulled the contract after the first visit when sticky traps were used for an indoor mouse problem. These traps did nothing except serve as a toilet for the mice. Everyday new droppings appeared but no caught mice. Finally I purchased my own snap traps (keep in mind, I just paid for a professional service and then had to solve the problem myself at additional expense) and within four days caught upwards of 7 mice. When I asked the tech why sticky traps were used he said ‘yes snap traps are the gold standard but we don’t always have them.’ Ummm you are a professional exterminator and you don’t come prepared to address a rodent problem with the right traps?!?! On top of all this their office is absolute garbage and just arbitrarily schedules service without coordinating with customer availability. You just get an email two days prior saying there’s service scheduled— no timeframe, prior contact, just hey hope you’re home all day in the next 48 hours because that’s when is convenient for us. If you try to reschedule, as you never actually made the appointment or got any heads up about it, it’ll be at least another week or two until they’re willing to show up.

I will have our Director of customer success reach out and we will see what we can do for you. <br><br>Recurring quarterly customers automatically get visits every 90 days, receive 48 hour notice of the DAY that we are coming. We don’t provide time windows because customers don’t need to be home because it is an EXTERIOR service. If you need INTERIOR service, you simply let us know and we’ll schedule accordingly.

Darrin came out to provide and estimate for wildlife removal but never provided an estimate even after several requests. Update: Despite Tommy reaching out to me after my initial review, I found a much more responsive company. As I read through the reviews for this company, I'm glad I didn't decide to give them a second chance.

The response time (including scheduling) is bad/non responsive & the promise of a specific estimate/quote wasn’t kept. Since the increase wasn’t too bad, I compromised & signed the pest agreement, but after 4 days signing it, no one called me back to schedule for a service. After calling them multiple times, each time they said they’d call me back but no one did. And when I finally got to talk with a pricing administrator, she won’t honor their contract & said it was incorrectly done even though the technician said management has already agreed! Totally not trust worthy!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! So, I was able to talk to an owner named Tommy about the quality of service I received. He was polite and offered to have someone else come out, which happened after they needed to be rescheduled. I honestly do not see how these products work. They did two applications, plus two additional and the results are worse. Nothing changed. I also had a concern about them saying they were here for a service when I did not see anything from my security cameras around the house or product. I have watered for 20-min plus after the applications and nothing. Now, they want to charge me a cancellation fee to terminate the service. How do you charge a customer a cancellation fee when your products do not work? Not good business!

STAY AWAY!!! This company is BACKWARDS!!! They will sell you on services and then REPEATEDLY make appointments and then cancel. Specifically to my situation, I have a tech I have been dealing with that is awesome BUT the scheduling crew will schedule him to come out and then the DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT call me to say Tim cannot come out because he has been scheduled somewhere else. This is clearly an internal issue with management and training staff properly on how to schedule. I have already paid the company money and now I'm getting the "run around" just because I want a specific tech to come out since he is familiar with the issues we are having with mice in the attic. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!! This company lacks any kind of value for their customers. They just want your money. I will continue to leave this review everywhere I can so the buyer can beware!!! In addition, the manager Alan will avoid you at all cost to protect his team of service reps who don't know how to schedule.

Technicians Noah & Tim visited my home regarding wildlife services—bats to be specific. They came at the top end of the time frame, which was between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. (I really appreciated that.) They called enough time in advance before arriving. They were courteous, professional, and explanatory in the work they would be doing. They were straightforward and answered any questions we had with no problems. They even took time to talk with my neighbors and answer questions that they had as well. They did outdoor and indoor work, then showed us the work they’d done outdoors, as we discussed it. They also explained some of the steps and processes before and after they completed their service. Both Tim & Noah helped my family and I to feel secure about the services they provided today, in addition to future services we will receive from Environmental Pest Control. These two technicians represent the company well and we highly recommend their services to anyone in need of similar services.

They never got rid of the bugs at all. The salesman lied and told me they cleaned up the dead bugs after the work was done, this was an out and out lie. I had them for a year they showed up unannounced then charged me 50 dollars for a missed appointment! One I never even made. I was told my contract was up but they were still coming to my door saying I had an appointment and even though I didn't make an appointment I was billed on my credit card for a missed appointment. I thought missing an appointment wasn't allowed to be billed! After all any number of things can happen to make you miss a scheduled appointment, however I didn't even make this appointment and my husband and I argued over this he assumed I forgot the appointment which of course I wouldn't. They never got rid of the bugs which were drain flies. I was assured that after two visits they would be gone but my home was still infested and I was being billed for missed appointments I never even made. This company is the worst I have ever had to deal with. The receptionist admitted to me that it was't in their best interest to rid my home of the pests because then I wouldn't have to hire them again! They reimbursed me for the appointments missed but still billed me 95 for a visit which I never even saw them. I went out to buy some milk at a local convenience store I was gone 10 or so minutes and found a note that they had sprayed the outdoors! I was only gone for about 10 minutes! I wouldn't hire this company again if they paid me for ridding my home of bugs! That should tell you how much I think of them. I have no intention of not posting this again and again on yelp and every other web site I can find. Never trust these companies who have you sign with a click. Get a copy of the contract and a guarantee that they will rid you of your problem. The one man who seemed to be truly honest came back the next day acting as if he'd been written up for helping me. He was new to the company and very nice and I thought he should start his own business cause he was honest and helpful and hard working but apparently he got into trouble for all he did for me. Which still didn't rid me of the problem. I have called help from Maryland to get rid of these bugs but they didn't know what to say or do. I suggest you don't hire anyone go on the web or to the library and they will tell you how to rid your home of these pests. I was told by a woman in Fla. They are very hard to get rid of they love the humidity. They also make your dogs sick and itch constantly. What happened to good hard working companies? I would have gladly hired them again and again if they did the job they said they would. With the weather getting so erratic you have to have an exterminator,but not a thief or a liar. This new policy of charging fifty dollars for a missed appointment one I never made is robbing American's left and right. There was a time when a company took pride in doing a good job but those days seem to be gone. I want to speak to a lawyer about this 50 fee for a missed appointment one I never made to begin with. This is fraud in my opinion! I used to be so proud of the companies in this country now they sell things that last hardly any time. They make a can smaller and smaller and charge the same amount! The appliances breakdown after the warrantee is up. We used to take such pride in our work now it's lie and cheat. This isn't the only case. I have several friends who say they have had the same problems. You can't seem to trust anyone anymore. I thank the you know who for this. Robbing has become the way of the country. Do it yourself or risk getting robbed. My realtor told me I should have went to her for help that these are scam artists. Who knew? Now we find out the internet take a fee to put the name of their company on first. So you have to hire someone go to the bottom of the list. Scroll down and then maybe you will get lucky. Watch the independent media for the truth not the ones that are being paid by the corporations.

I believe it was 2008 when I began using your company, before it changed hands and became Environmental. 11 years and 4 moves I've stayed with the company. My schedule has always been accommodate until the last 6 months. They show up when I've said those times don't work. The last time all was checked was my front yard, not the back or inside.
