I had a crisis with field mice in out the next morning. The tech Ian was professional, listened and answered all questions, met everyone in the house and answered all concerns. He found their nesting areas and left traps and treated the spaces he found. Ehrlich worked fast and communicated throughout the whole service appointment. I had to call them back when we saw evidence of more mice. Two technicians came in and covered every part of the outside and inside. My husband found an opening and the techs filled in the openings and laid more traps ! Three trips, excellent service! The people making the appointments were cooperative, mindful of my time and certainly made the whole experience much easier than I ever expected. I was even connected to their Internet portal to make all my interactions and documentation. I definitely would recommend the company! Afterthought: I called 5 companies. All within the space of an hour so I was being an informed consumer. Erlich is the ONLy company that called me back that day! While the price was mid to upper edge of my budget, I gladly would pay it again to have them do the work. They did give me a small discount so all over, it's a win situation.

Initial service and follow up inspection were great - technician Dane as awesome but after him there’s no follow up from back office. Paid $550 for a service and I feel robbed. Terrible customer service and support - all talk and no show

Jeff Alexander stopped by today and cleaned up a lot of the traps that were dirty . Also placed new traps in placed where he noticed activity. I will definitely appreciate it if he continues to service my branch. Really chill guy and gets straight to the point.
Tim is the man!! He’s been our bug man for as long as I can remember. He’s always on time, does excellent work and keeps our house bug and rodent free! Wouldn’t want anyone else besides him! Very courteous and genuinely cares about our problems. Great guy!!!

Tom was very helpful and polite. He completed the job that we asked to be done and offered some advice. He told us about door sweeps that we need to replace to keep the bugs from coming in to our office. He offered suggestions as to where to purchase them and that we could also contact him directly to purchase through them directly.

Had an appointment with an hour and a half window. I even called to confirm the appointment earlier in the day. No one showed up. When I called, they said they’d send a message to the driver and he’d call me back. A half hour goes by, nothing. I hope he didn’t get into an accident but if not, a phone call would have been the decent thing to do. They wanted me to re-schedule. For what? To waste my time again? No, thanks
Very disappointed that one of there drivers break checked me on I-270 N Fri 540pm 8/29. Md Tag # 5FM5456, And once I drove away , passed me a 2nd time & went in front of me again. I drove off again…
I hired Ehrlich to spray for Ticks, mosquitoes, spiders and bees and to have the hive removed. I was quoted $330. The technician that came out refused to remove the hive saying that they don’t do that. I called and spoke to the manager and he said that 2 technicians were needed. After 3 different attempts they kept sending only one technician out. I received a call asking for payment and I told them that I wasn’t paying for a job that was not completed and that I’m still have bee, tick, mosquito and spider problems. I was told by Sheila that they did not spray for ticks, mosquitos and spiders that’s why I am still having problems. That a different technician needed to come out to do that. I told her to cancel my service, she told me that I still needed to pay the bill. I told her that I was not paying for services that were not done. She told me that my account would go to collections then.
Literally the worst experience of my life. The man that came out was nothing but rude. He told us apparently we could not afford to put insulation in our attic, without knowing our financial situation at all. The man even refused to look at some of the problems that were not sealed out. He stated just to look at it he would need to charge us. It seemed a lot like he just didn’t want to do his job, and when we were told we would receive a call back about the results as to what type of mite we were up against they refused to call us back. Is this what you call professionalism? Will not be paying a cent to this company.

I have been an Ehrlich customer since 2009. The reason my family has used them for so long was due to having a long-time technician servicing my home. The technician always contacted us prior to coming, rescheduled if we needed it so we would be home and planned his route accordingly and there was never an issue. Well, imagine my surprise when I discovered that in October 2022 that the long-standing tech got a new position and Ehrlich was standing at my door saying I needed to get my service. Reluctantly I allowed the technician in, but requested the office call me as I wanted to be contacted the next time they were coming as a common courtesy. The manager agreed that the tech should have called and realized that my requests were not out of the box and said it wasn’t an issue. Well, imagine my surprise again when I received a bill for $257.19 on July 5, 2023, for services rendered on June 28, 2023, servicing only the exterior of my home without making any contact with me first. When I called the customer service center July 6, 2023, and disputed the charge, they informed me that they did come as they had a proof of service document. However, when I explained I had no way of knowing as no one called, emailed prior or left ANY notification on my property via flag, note or invoice, there is no way for me to know they came. Nor did I receive an email stating they came with the proof of service. Additionally, looking at my invoices on the customer portal, the invoice shows no photo the tech was at my house. All other invoices show a picture of my home. I requested that this bill be credited however that request was denied. I also advised that the work was not done correctly inside of my house was not done. The representatives informed me that my contract was for June and October, and I did not have a choice nor that I had to be home as it is what I agreed to. And that their chemicals are not needed inside the home as they prevent from the outside in (even though tech’s have come in the last 14 years). And the fact we did not get a call ahead, or that they did not perform services on the interior was irrelevant. I was told they could come back out (for no charge) to do the inside. However, the representatives were completely missing the point that I was not given the service I requested by getting a call ahead and ensuring that someone is home when they perform the services. And, that aside from the “proof of service” there is zero photo confirmation that the tech was there like every other service. However, my concerns fell on deaf ears and the representative informed me that this was standard part of my contract, and I must deal with it and pay the invoice. The lack of customer service and ability to assist me as a long-time customer is deplorable. In my 14 years as a customer, I have never questioned my service or been late on a bill, however I am now being considered the one at fault. Not to mention completely disrespectful about my concerns for people coming onto my property without permission and disregard for customer requests. It is very evident the customer service representatives and the Hagerstown Office are more worried about reading off a screen and making their daily numbers than resolving legitimate customer disputes.

The techs that came out were great, but trying to cancel service has seemed next to impossible. The customer service reps cannot cancel your service and need to put in a 'ticket' to have someone call you that can. I have called during the hours that department is supposed to be open and was told that they are not answering. I have had 5 'tickets' made for me, and received two calls total. One of those calls was today at 4:59pm when they close at 5pm - and when I called back immediately after I missed the call, I was told to call during business hours - my ticket was opened at 2pm because they did not answer. I even had the customer service rep add on to my ticket 'Please cancel service even if I do not answer' and they still refused to cancel my service. I am still being charged. Also, with their 365 plan, over the last 9 months they have been out twice according to my account portal page. That is $468 for 2 visits with their monthly plan set at $52 a month.
I have been with your company since 2013 and have always been extremely happy with you. The new person was not up to your standards of service I have received in the past. I’m not sure what he did. He was only here 10-15 minutes and there was no discussion of any service or of anything. He just left. James always explained his service, I signed something, and set up next appointment. I was not pleased at all and was going to call to let you know of my concern. Since you asked for a review, I did it this way.

I rarely write reviews. I am so disappointed with this company. We had used them before for termites and they were pretty good. I have no clue why their service went so downhill. I called to make an appointment to have a wasp nest removed. Not only did they not call me back, they only contacted my husband (who isn't home or available during the day and I am). I called and left 2 messages with zero response. I understand if you don't want to deal with a female, but at least return my calls and say you aren't able to provide this service. Edit: It's been over 2 weeks since they promised to call me to discuss this. Let's just say I haven't been waiting by the phone. I am so sorry that this didn't work out and I had to leave a review to get noticed and ignored once again.
I would like to make clear that the one star is for ehrlich as a company, not the technicians. I have been a customer for more than 10 years. I had been satisfied until recently with the company. The technicians have always been knowledgeable and helpful but since the company was bought out, it has been very disappointing and frustrating. The price keeps going up and the service is lacking. You can no longer call your local office and speak with someone. Instead, you call the main number and speak with someone clear across the country. We just got a new technician assigned to us, Monty. He literally just left. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and did different things to deal with our current issue. He deserves to be recognized for excellent work. Also, let me just tell you about what we have. We have the yearly service, which includes most normal issues and someone is supposed to come right out and deal with it. We don’t have many issues But can’t imagine the service if we had more issues. I was going to cancel my service but will continue because of Monty. I am disappointed in the customer service, which is 0%, btw. I had an issue a couple of weeks ago with customer service and no one ever got back to me. Terrible!!!
